I have the Pisces magnet.All the people i create friendly / loving relationships with have prominent Pisces,like as their sun sign or moon sign.Additionally,my 8th house is in Pisces.
Are there any other placements that would indicate a "sign magnet"?IP: Logged |

The 8th house is the house of transformation, rebirth, and sex. Those whose planets, especially personal ones, bring out your 8th house energies. It's no wonder that you are drawn to these types of people. Also look at aspects to neptune, as they add a piscean flavor to your own chart, as does 12th house sun. I'm a Sag Sun, Gem Moon, Leo rising.I am always attracted to Leos, my past 3 relationships were with leos but they never worked out (obviously). I'm SURROUNDED by geminis everywhere I go. If its not gem sun its gem mooners. I don't get along extremely well with them but they are very prominent in my life. I'm not sure why this is. IP: Logged |

My eighth house is Aquarius,And I used to be always attracted to Aquarius.
They say that the sign that rules 8th house makes us attacted to people who are very strong in that sign, especially if their planets make strong aspects to our eight house ruler. IP: Logged |

Funny, my 8th house is Scorpio, and yet I don't know many Scorpios, nor I'm close to any of them.The people I'm exposed to the most are geminis, pisces, virgos, leos
some aries, libras, saggis
rarely cancers, taureans, scorpios, aquas, and cappys

I got a Venus in Gemini 10th house and Moon in Cancer 11th house.My sun is in the 12th house.
And my Neptune sextiles Pluto and opposes Moon.  but no other neptunian influences. My question was more general,as what planet placements would create such "magnet" IP: Logged |

I know what you mean, Green Fairy - I seem to be a Virgo magnet. I have a couple of theories as to why this may be.My 7th house is ruled by Mercury (Gemini on the cusp) which, in my natal chart, is conjunct my sun in the 8th. I tend to attract Virgo's with Leo prominant in their charts. My boyfriend is a Virgo with Leo moon & rising. Also, the ruler of my ascendant (which is said to be the chart ruler) is Jupiter, which is in early Virgo. My Venus at 29deg. Leo forms an out-of-sign conjunction with my chart ruler, Jupiter. It also trines Saturn, so that I believe reinforces the earth theme, Virgo being the earth sign ruled by Mercury. Could be a stretch, but it's all I've come up with so far to explain the prominance of Virgo love interests in my life. Also, I have Cancer on my 8th house cusp - and there seems to be strong lunar energy in these Virgos. Current b/f has his moon in the 1st house, so he seems somewhat like a Cancer rising. Yeah I am a Virgo Magnet myself..I believe for me it is bc I am Pisces opposite attracts. I attract Aqua's I have quite a few planets in Aqua, I attract Aries my mars in Aries and my sun and Mercury is in the first house. I attract Leo's could be bc of the 1st house stuff..IP: Logged |

It’s Aquas and Leos for me, they even followed me into my family, my brother and sister are Aqua and Leo

I seem to attract people with Aries placements. I have Aries in Venus in the 1st and Aries in Jupiter in the 2nd. But, even my dad is a triple Aries, my brother has Aries in Mercury and Aries ascendant, and my sister is an Aries sun. My best friend is a Aries in Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Rising. And it seems everyone I run into has Aries in Moon, Mercury, Ascendant or Sun. I don't know why either.~Rebekka IP: Logged |

I'm attracting alot of Scorpio and Pisces people in the past 3 years. 2 former co-workers, my current boss are Scorps. My sis, roommate, 2 co-workers and former boss are all Pisces.I have my moon in Cancer in the 11th and Pluto in the 1st. That could explain all these people in my orbit. It's intense, but I'm loving it. I talk to my Virgo and Cappy buddies when I need a taste of something calmer and more earthbound.  ------------------

GF, the ruler of your ascendant is the planet that rules the sign on your first house cusp. I have Sagittarius rising, and Sag is ruled by Jupiter - Ergo, my chart ruler is Jupiter. A planet in the 1st house (especially if conjunct the cusp or asc.) will color the ascendant according to the charactertists of that planet. The moon rules Cancer, so a 1st house mooner will have the characteristics of a Cancer, even if the sign on the cusp is...say, Leo for instance.  Do you get me? IP: Logged |

pixie ~"I notice it's mostly Pisces Mooners for me."  It's changed over the years for me -- in the 70's I knew a LOT of fiery-Sun people, Leos/Saggies/Ariens. In the 80's it morphed to Earth and Air. My best friends right now are Scorpio (Sag Asc, Gem Moon), Taurus (Libra Asc, Aqua Moon) and Gemini (Scorpio Asc, Cancer Moon). My 8th house is in Pisces, but I have been drawn to Aquarius' and Geminis all my life.
Perhaps it is because Libra ( which I am), Aquarius and Gemini are ALL air signs?

For me I attract/feel a good "vibe" with those Aries people and thats my MC sign; more often than not those I date have a personal planet conjunct my MC. Go fig!shirty ~ The Geminis could be cos you more likely than not have Gemini in the 11th house of your chart, ruling friendships

I like the way you explain how 1st house planets color your ascendant. hmm...
I am a Scorpio Rising with Pluto in Virgo 10th house (I do attract a lot of people with Scorpio influences).
I also have Neptune and Venus conjunct my Ascendant, SO this would make me more Libra-like (which is already my sun and moon, anyway) and Pisces like, or I would attract these people?
Some of my favorite people I have known have been Pisces but I only have one other friend who is Libra.........hmmm.....IP: Logged |

I love people with Scorpio Moon/Cancer Venus combo  or Scorpio Moon/Pisces Venus.. my Cancerian Dsc just adores them I am a Virgo/Gemini magnet
