Hi Kam ~Yeah, I think the inner planet short-termers can be important..... it's my feeling that they can trigger the big boys (the Outers) and irritate aspect patterns like t-squares. I've watched the Moon for several years now (the Llewellyn astro-calendars are nice for that) and kept a sort of mental score of how I feel during the Moon in each of the signs/houses. I've noticed that the Moon conjuncting the base planets of my Yod (Pluto in Leo, Neptune in Libra) tends to make me really emotionally intense (apex Moon in Pisces in VIII). The Moon moving thru my Libra stellium makes me feel strong and centered..... tMars aspecting my nVenus (and the other way around) causes some extra friskiness in my demeanor..... I haven't gotten a real handle on my Mercury transits, except that there are times when Merc is in the Fixed signs that I feel like I've been muzzled (natal Merc in Scorpio).....
Have you been watching your transits (hmmmm, almost sounds like "do you know where your children are tonite?" )
Zala
PS: Until they invent a computer program that will give you a daily scorecard of transits to planets, aspect patterns, and midpoints, I probably will not pay a lot of attention to the short-termers. And by the time you've gained an understanding of how they're interacting, and planned "What to Do/Not Do Today" the day would be over!! You've got that tSaturn to nVenus coming up, yes? I'd pay a lot more attention to dealing with that one than the transitory and fleeting effects of the inners....
Is Tim around??
