What would be shown in the chart of a person who is very impressionable....This lady has Leo Sun, Cappy rising and Moon in Scorpio.. Her parents say since a child, whoever she has associated with, she has taken on their personality, or at least has yielded to them, and in the process lost a sense of her own identity... She is now married to a very domineering man and has sort of lost a sense of herself. I was thinking Neptune....maybe? Anyone....? IP: Logged |

Yep..I'd look at Neptune and what's in her 7th house. It sounds like she is uncomfortable with who she is so she takes on the qualities that she may think are admirable concerning those around her. Did you ever see "Runaway Bride" with Julia Roberts? She would do that to an extent. She would take on the hobbies, likes / dislikes and even how her eggs were cooked depending on the man she was engaged to. In the end she could never make the commitment. Finally, she sat down and did an inventory of what it was she really liked, who she was and how she liked her eggs cooked LOL... IP: Logged |

Neptune conjunct a personal planet like Venus. My mum has this and has always had incredibly bad taste in men. She also lives in a fantasy world.
I have also found Moon in Taurus to be incredibly subservient, tending to acquiesce at all times when in the presence of someone a bit dominant though i see the woman has Moon in Scorpio instead, itself a very insecure placing, although somewhat determined.------------------

I have a sag friend like that, I want to know her time of birth so I can see exactly what her chart is like. I can't figure it out for the life of me. It seems like a neptune or Heavy 7th house thing.IP: Logged |

I'm like that too! It's pretty bad sometimes actually. I have strong Pisces/Neptune in my chart. Pisces Rising sextile Neptune with my Sun on the Aquarius/Pisces cusp in the 12th House is probably the biggest influence in my chart for impressionability [is that even a word?].~Rebekka IP: Logged |

sue g -Because of what you mentioned about her being with a domineering man, and that she lost a sense of herself ... this may be going a little beyond what you may think. I'm a spinster, and so I had to take another look regarding Neptune. I mean, yeah, Neptune was the first thought I had too, but how about a Mercury Conjunct Neptune? Does she have that? Perhaps she's not being clear enough with her potential mates because of how she is communicating and interacting with them. ------------------
