I was looking at my chart and i realised I have only two planets in water: saturn and pluto in Scorpio. This made me wonder - isn't it hard not having much water? My mum tells me I dont seem empathetic towards people which isnt true I just approach it differently.

And that leads me to my second thought - all my planets are above the horizon so that must mean something right?

Okay, and my final thought was about my descendant Cancer - now I adore cancers - I am softer, more patient and mind my foot in mouth more with cancers. I want to make them happy and laugh.

Okay, so does any one mind taking a quick look at my chart? It would be appreciated.

Since you have all your planets at the top of your chart and none on the bottom you focus on the outer world.

As for only having 2 planets in water, your chart will offset this if you have planets in water houses (4,8 or12)

thanks! wow, that makes a lot of sense...yes I dont like to show my emotions...or i see breaking down as not helpful.I will happily support everyone else but hesitate in showing my own emotions.

What fascinated me most about what you said was my mothers relationship. It has been strained the last couple of years - i dont like being vulnerable with her. She approaches things in an extremely emotional way. Her family never confronted each other or fought so mum gets upset and never says anything!! Which frustrates me cause i like to get things out in the open fairly. Also, if i do tell her something she will go on about it and make me cross.

Sorry to make this a rant about my mother but our relationship is difficult.

You mentioned that your relationship with your mother the past few years has been strained. For the past few years you have had Neptune transiting your first house, which has been opposing your natal Moon in Leo in your 7th.

At the end of November in 2005 you had a transit, Saturn conjuncting your natal Moon within a 2 ° orb, and then Saturn retrograded. You will experience that transit again, and it will make a complete pass from the beginning of July 2006 till August 2006. This will also trigger a Saturn square transit.

Both of these transits can affect the relationship with your mom, other women and a marriage or business relationship because, while the Moon represents your emotions, it also represents the mother, women in general, and it is in your 7th house. Neptune brings in confusion, denial, illusion, feelings of escape, idealization, and Saturn brings in self-criticism, self-examination, concentration on emotions, duty, discipline, responsibility, limiting of emotions, feelings of guilt. You may withdraw from others with either transit.

Anyway, i also have had men issues since my dad left my mum when i was 10. I've got stronger and better in the last couple of years and am ready for a serious relationship.

So, will my relationship with my mum get better? I cant bear the thought of it being worse again.

I'm unable to tell you one way or the other whether or not your relationship with your mom will get better or worse.

Saturn transits can restrict, but they can also bind and concentrate. It's going to be up to you two to decide what happens. You both have free will.
