wow! just stumbled onto this site about me having Venus in Pisces and it all just makes completed sense to me. Now to find that perfect match. Yeah Right... It was from cafeastrology/ Im very new to all this so I just felt like posting if anyone else has venus/pisces such

If your Venus is in Pisces:
When your Venus is in Pisces, you love tenderly and compassionately. You are a peace-maker at heart, and your sensors are so strong that you pick up as much as possible, and perhaps more, from your partner. You have a sense of humor in love, although you have your shares of ups and downs, as you are a very sensitive person. Harshness bothers you. Wistfulness is almost as natural to you as breathing when it comes to love. No matter how you approach other areas of your life, there is a romantic side of you. You crave making a connection with a person—many would call it a deep connection, but spiritual is a better word, as your ideal love rises above rather than plunges below the mundane world.

You can be devastatingly attractive to some people, and your charm is of a tender and soft quality. Others sense your warmth, but also some elusiveness. As much as you want to connect and share with another person, you also resist being pinned down. You prefer to enjoy a certain amount of freedom to act on your feelings, rather than through schedules or impositions. Sometimes you attach yourself to people because you have a hard time saying "no". However, you also have a hard time pretending for any length of time. Your exit from a relationship may not always be direct and quick. You are not always comfortable with being direct, simply because you don't like hurting people's feelings.

You can sometimes seem like a chameleon in your relationships. People who share time with you, if they were to exchange notes about you, would likely have a very different impression of you. You can seem like a completely different person with different people--not because you have a weak character. Because you are an emotional sponge, you pick up the needs of those around you. Your adaptability comes from a lack of personal boundaries in matters of the heart. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and it carries with it each and every sign. This explains, to a degree, your ability to slip into anyone's shoes without so much as a blink. So, with Venus, the planet of love and relationship, in Pisces, it is easy for you to pick up the needs of your partner and even adopt those needs as your own. Where do your needs start and end? It can be hard for you to distinguish what it is that you want because you very spontaneously and naturally soak in the needs and wants of a partner.

You have an amazing capacity to understand people and to forgive. Just as you resist being pinned down to an absolute, a schedule, or a concrete definition, you also have a hard time drawing boundaries. In the process, however, you open yourself up to challenging situations and relationships. It is difficult for you to pass judgment on anyone in an absolute sense, as you have compassion for human failings, but sometimes it is the only way to close yourself off from a bad situation. Don't let others take advantage of your hospitality and empathy. Anyone who sees these traits as signs of weakness is likely preying on them! The right lover for you will recognize your kindness and your willingness to slip into someone's shoes as signs of strength! When that special someone has touched your heart, they are rewarded with a funny, sometimes kooky, and always tender-hearted lover. The right person for you will find you absolutely delightful, intriguingly changeable, and a treasure indeed.

Wow... I agree... It is very accurate. I also have both Venus and Mercury in Pisces (19 degrees). It is a lot of work just NOT to be an emotional sponge

I have a 6.03 degree Pisces Venus in my 10th house. I feel my Venus energies all the time. What an interesting Venus sign to have. If I could give another person the world on a Silver platter and make their dreams come true, I would.

I used to work in a homeless shelter and help the less fortunate. I now work with people with developmental disablities and those who are brain injured.

It is such a good Venus, but I have been taken too many times. Sadly my Venus squares my Jupiter/Neptune conjucntion in Saggy. Objectivity had to be learned and not settling for the first thing that comes along had to be put into action. Falling in love with love was too easy and common 0 just after a man would say to me " Wanna go out"...or even worse after the first kiss.

Listen to the song Addicted to Love - by Robert Palmer and see if it sounds like you...Another song that is good, yet I don't know if it applies to all venus in Pisces...Go your own way - Fleetwood Mac....

I find it's hard to stay angry at another with this Venus. We can forgive easily and move on with our lives.

Yeah- I have to be very careful/picky to choose a partner. I can cling easily to... I just dont need/want to be with the wrong one so I hold out. I am very picky! I just want that special one- I can wait/but then again... Im a man so... but I catch other girls looking at me as though they know what hes doing. Some say I have bedroom eyes? I am just admiring you is all... I love to love and love to look and take it all in. Doesnt mean Ill be the typical guy screwing you over. Giggilo s/p? anyways, music is where its at too- Fleetwood Mac, Sara McLachlan- Ice Cream, Sweet Surrender
Joss Stone, etc

I have a ? for you. You mentioned in an earlier topic re: Pisces, that you live alone since your divorce and like it that way.

That statement struck me as I am the same way (except a widow) but have issues with it that I have had to deal with recently.

Do you ever think about what you would do/say if you found someone that you really connected with? If that someone was a soul that you could fall in love with. What if that person wanted to co-habitate, even (gasp!) get married!

I have had to do alot of soul searching lately as to what I really want from a relationship cause I definately do not want a "traditional" encounter.

At this stage of life, I have my own home, all my things, and can not even conceptualize someone living with me or me with him.

What are your thoughts, feelings on this?

Terri

Hey Terri-

Well, I know if I met the right or close to right person(for me) Id love to be with her. I long for this but I believe in faith and luck- Thats just me... but If a all-around cool girl, loving, caring, good morals, doesnt do drugs, etc,, comes my way and I feel she may like me (which hasnt seem like in forever) Id go for her. See where it goes- Id like to get re-married only to that special one- Id also like to try to have at least one or more children- But Heah... baby steps.. right now I am confortable just being alone and working on [me]. Im not perfect either! So, alot of this time is for me. I havent had a sexual encounter since Nov 4 04. Thats a long time for a guy. One day though- hopefully with the right one. I seem to get involved (when I do) with the wrong ones... I am attracted to weird signs. Not the typical for me ones. But nevertheless they were fun but real headaches. Could have just dodged them but decided to go through with them. Im older now (36) wow, thats getting up there, and hope to be more educated and stop this nonsense! It is scary sometimes when I sit and think- will I be alone or lonely when Im 70? I need to start taking my life more serious and paying better close attention to everything/everyone...

Sounds exactly like my husband in love... exactly!
He has this placement ( to my happiness)
It's funny though, I am a Scorpio Sun/mars etc, so the trine is lovely, as well as sextile my moon ( his moon also conjuncts mine)
Yet My Venus is in Sagittarius... there is such a difference in our loving/expression styles.
I love my cuddles, don't get me wrong, but he is the most expressive guy ever, and I like my space, I like to play, I feel like my loving nature is trumped by his. I feel like I am not giving him the level he deserves sometimes.. but still it works... after all, My venus is conjunct Neptune, which rules Pisces.

Neat, cosmic. Do you have a link so other Venus signs can check it out? ED (Oh, yeah- cafe astrology).

Yeah, I'm no Venus in Pisces myself but from the bit I know about one, it fitted that person down to a tee. Enlightening Actually it made me feel a little bad about not fully understanding that person. Stupid Venus in Leo or Virgo (Depending on what source I check!)
Well, I know now. Thanks.
