I just got out of school, if I'm not pre-occupied with something (like school) I get very restless, and depressed. I feel I'm never going to find someone, I've never had a real close relationship (like a boyfriend). I hate feeling sorry for myself but I'm so upset, I don't have any real close friends except my family. I hate to post such self involved content, but I really could use some feedback.

Missneptune's chart:

hang in there!
we all feel that way at times.
you probably would want someone
more skilled than me to look at
your chart, but i would think
that with venus in gemini you
would have lots of friends.
just hang in there and try
to raise your positive energy.

MissNeptune,

You have a Libra MC (reputation, status, ego), so relationships, romance and love are important to you!

However, your Venus in your 7th House (partnerships) and Saturn/Uranus conjunction in your 1st House (identity) are in opposition. That may make you feel like you never get anywhere with partnerships or that they break up as quickly as they start.

As your life continues and you experience different transits, especially your Saturn Return, you should find more success in your relationships.

Try to keep a positive outlook on the situation. Maybe you could get involved in activities where you could meet people, socialize and make friends. And, in the mean time, concentrate on making yourself feel good and happy.

Good luck to you.

In addition to the other observations, something else popped out to me. You might have a similar feeling that I'VE had where you feel like a dark star in the sky. Like your Leo energies are being eclipsed by being stuck in an 8th House which has a totally different agenda.

You're carefully questioning your feelings on this because of a 3rd House Water Moon, which I have too. You feel a LOT, but then it takes you a little while to sit quietly and assimilate and put into words what it is you are feeling.

I see a lot of positive traits which just might keep the that Venus and Saturn/Uranus Opposition mentioned in check.

Another reason why you might be frustrated is that although you really DO need the time to assimilate what's really going on, your Mars in Aries is stomping it's foot and blowing hot air, which makes you feel pressured to ACT. You may feel a sense of sabotaging yourself everytime you take Mars' side, bypassing the other work which is just as important.

Your NN in Pisces furthers your need to understand, and you're willing to delve VERY deep when you're ready. Your Asc in Sag also lessens your fear of "mind" travel.

So interesting is you have Venus in Gemini, and Descendant in Gemini. This also wants ACTION right away. But you'll definately need friends or partners who are just as fearless as you are when it comes to deep stuff, you might scare the rest away.

As for Sign energies you might consider, think about a very sensitive Aries, a free-spirited Cancer, another Leo, Libra or a sensitive and exceptionally philosophical Sag.

Good advice astro junkie, you seem to know alot about astrology! I have a question about retrograde planets; I have three of them - Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, they're all retrograde and in my first house. What kind of emphasis does that put onto a person? Whenever I've conducted other people's charts, I never see retrograde planets (excluding myself), and I have a lot of opositions between uranus, saturn, and Pluto...
Here's my natal chart from Astro.com: http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?rs=3&btyp=w2gw&&cid=vaqfileQKD0d6-u1135752956
BTW: Do you think Astro.com's charts are accurate?

Hi missneptune

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling so down. Please know that you are in a rough phase but things WILL get better, and you WILL be okay. I know it's hard to be un-occupied sometimes...too much time to think, eh? Maybe if you find a new interest to get into, you'll feel better, work with your creativity, meet new people, etc.

Wishing you lots of love,
GLLF

When you said that when you're not pre-occupied, you feel restless and depressed, I figured you had a sag ascendant...and I was right.

I have Sag rising also, and at times if I'm not busy doing something, I can feel a little "blah" / depressed feeling. I hate being bored.

I also read on a site somewhere (I forget what the site URL is), Sag ascendants can become depressed when they don't feel like life is challenging them enough.

But Leo's are impatient as well, so not being pre-occupied could just be a Leo trait. But good point though!

Hey missneptune,
Im not sure when you were born but it looks like you were born a few days after my sister who is a Leo/Aquarius born July 29 1988.She just got out of school too,and is currently going through a break up with her boyfriend of three years. She has been very emotional, maybe the jupiter in scorpio square Leo sun or something.Just hang in there though, once the Sun enters Leo,things should start getting a little easier again, like a new beginning.Have you started thinking about what you'd like to do now that you're out of school?Maybe some time near the ocean would help soothe the soul.Paisley(my little sis)was thinking about going to a Fashion design school, but now she is unsure.Well,I hope you start feeling happier again and by the way you have the same Sun and Moon as one of my favorite musicians,Robert Plant of Led Zepplin!PeaceLove and lots of light to you, Eliza Libra/Scorpio/Aquarius

I agree with finding a sensitive sag, Sags are fearless and caring at the same time and its' good to cultivate as many friends as you like,

no matter how I feel when someone lets me down, I tell myself..

there is no limit:>

Well, I'll accept that I may have good advice, but as far as knowing a lot about astrology - well, I believe in intuition more, and most people want to jump into the interpretations allowing them to color their decisions too much. It really does take discipline.

I'm surprised you've never seen Retrograde's in other people's Charts. They're everywhere! Are you sure? Maybe they were born during one of the chunks of time that had none. I have no Retrogrades THANK GOD!!!! I say that because I internalize enough as it is. Don't let supposedly negative descriptions trip you up. You haven't lost any power from those, it's just more internalized. You won't even notice it after a while, like reading subtitles at the movies.

Since they are in your 1st House, it may mean that with those particular Planets you may be constantly wrestling within yourself on whether to go for the dream of a lifetime, or play it safe. Other people may not pick up on this, but they are in your 1st, so someone may be more inclined to know this about you.
