Question for you all:

What are your moon and venus signs? If they are opposite or squared, how does that effect you? Which one do you seem to act like in relationships?

I'm just wondering because my boyfriend has his moon in cancer and venus in aquarius. They are not squared by aspect, just by sign. I definitely have seen more of his cancer traits than aquarius..I was actually surprised when I found out he had venus in aquarius.

I have both my moon and venus in scorpio. I love being in commited relationships, but I also need my freedom (Sag rising, sun in the 9th house.)

Your boyfriend's signs are quincunx, not square. But I can relate to you....Mine has pisces moon and venus in libra, I see pisces more than libra. Only because he doesn't just skim the surface of things

I have my moon and Venus in Aqua. And yes
I definetly have those Aqua traits, but my Pisces sun mellows me out and keeps me somewhat stable...

I'm kind of glad my boyfriend has his venus in aquarius.. his sun is in pisces, moon in cancer, mars in scorpio, AND his ascendant in scorpio, pluto and mars both conjunct his ascendant. I think I'd drown from all the water lol.

My moon(virgo) and venus(gemini) are square by sign only. I think my moon shows up IN the relationship, but my venus shows up when I want the attention of the one I adore .

Peri bumped a nice thread for you, and have you seen Astro Junkie's thread on how you appear when want to be loved? Very insightful.

Hey there~ My Moon in Aqua is square my Venus in Scorpio both by sign and degree. They're part of a t-square for me also. These 2 energies are very much combined for me which makes me quite weird, but I like it LOL! My Aqua Moon is in the 8th house, 'Scorpio's House' and my Venus in Scorpio is conjunct my Uranus in Scorpio, Uranus being 'Aqua's Sign'. I am friendly, yet detached; zany, intense, quiet, nearly always 'up to something' and so on and so forth... Sometimes it is hard cuz this square can make me feel unwanted and/or not good enough or 'cut off' from either relationships (Venus) or emotions (Moon). Balance is needed.

Hexxie, I can totally relate.....my moon's in the eighth and my venus is the fifth, being an air singleton. It's hard to combine the energies and very often I end up misrepresenting myself.

Hey Dulce Luna! My Venus (conj Uranus) is in the 5th too. It's like the Moon in the 8th is fathoms deep and not afraid of the 'darkness'. Then Venus in the 5th is very creative, and giving. According to our Lovely Tim W, one needs to 'combine' the energies of the squared planets. So perhaps if we become 'creative with how we give these deep emotions to others' we can balance out this square?!?!

Pisces Venus conj. Ascendent
I think I'm more Libran in relationships...I'm a little detached & flirty even when I do have a boyfriend , & I tend to be attracted to fire & air signs. When I REALLY like a guy, I definately act more piscean. Right now I'm actually in a bad situation, because I'm kinda-sorta with a Saggi sun, Gem rising, Aqua mooner, but I can't decide if i should keep talking to him. I don't like his Scorpio Venus. He starts getting possessive at times!! & I am DONE with scorpios!!

But I don't think I have to worry about this too long, because I think my detached ways are starting to p*ss him off. Last night he called and he was like "Yeah Darlene you didn't call when you said you would. Again. You worry me when you do that."
I said "What did you think I was dead in a creek or something? Chill, Tyler. I forgot."
Him: "Well you're all the time forgetting sh*t; like calling me back for instance!"

SAG moon vs. CANCER venus.
in proffesional relationships like at my work place with my co workers, i am completely sag ,full of energy,bold,straight forward,active,pretty fast and accurate at everything... even when i loose my temper i am pretty much sag.
in love relations i am totally cancer...shy,sensitive,easily hurt,always doubting myself, deep fear of rejection.. i tend to drown myself way too much in my own emotions...
although i wish it was the other way round..

Yeah Hexxie, it would be nice to find a way to combine the two energies. It's weird because they come out at different times. My shy,dark, virgo moon in the 8th comes out in most regular situations (along with my cap ascendant) and then my chatty patty Venus in gemini comes out with BF-especially when I was first trying to get his attention. He totally thought I was a flirt (so not true,BTW . I was shocked when he came out and said it one day. To him, and everyone I suppose , its like I have two different personalities.

The only thing these tow placements of mine have in common, I think, are that they make me shy away from relationships in general. Meaning, I don't get into relationships that easily....but once I'm in , I'm in. It's just that I never minded solitude, and togetherness has kind of irked me in the past. But I really like who I'm with now, so I'm workin' on it .

Hmmm good point Tim. But I am really nothing like my virgo sun, and my mars in Capricorn... I don't think I act like a capricorn when I'm trying to get someone's attention. BUT, I AM attracted to very successful men, so that could have something to do with my mars. I'm more like my moon, venus, and ascendant in relationships (scoripo moon and venus, Sag ascendant).

My Moon is in Sagittarius, and my Venus is in Pisces.

I'd have to say that I'm more Sagittarian that Piscean. But that may be because I also have my Sun in a fire sign (Aries), and to be honest, I can't even separate my Moon's influence from my Sun's. The energies are just too similar.

I think I display traits from these fairly equally; I can get hot headed about certain things and my emotions can be kind of impulsive at times. In relationships I need my space and I prefer friendships to intimacy. Am terrible at discussing my feelings!

They say the moon being in the sign of Taurus is a very strong and one of the most stablest placements.

Even the moon in Taurus alone can really empower other aspects in your chart.

My moon stands alone in the 8th in Pisces. My venus is in Scorp. I think the Pisces is more a part of how I think and how I "see" the relationship. When I'm in love I tend to see through rose colored glasses and put my lover on a pedestal...they can do no wrong. I project more of a Scorpio type of attitude though. Love with me is intense and all consuming. I'm insanely jealous and rather posessive, and when I'm hurt it usually takes me multiple years to get over depending on the duration of the relationship.

MOON IN PISCES..VENUS IN LEO..
Im very romantic, dreamer(pisces) and love to give my partner lots of attention adn affection as well; I love receiveing LOTS of attention and affection from my lover. my moon is in aries and my venus is in sag. I have dated a sag, but more earth signs than anything. a cap and a taurus now. plus an aries in the past.

my gf has it a little tougher, her virgo moon seems to be at odds with her aries venus. But I don't think she is typically attracted to aries as her venus would point to, as I am the second scorpio..but maybe that first had a strong aries placement like me (moon). who knows
