what exactly determines a person to look the best while having a certain type of hair colour????for example,i look stunning as a blonde,but having my hair dyed red or black makes me look common and very ugly,believe me!!!i have 7 planets in earth signs ,2 in air ones and a singleton ,pluto in a water one.what do you think?IP: Logged |

Well, I think maybe Awakening means the type of person who consistently pulls off unexpected changes in hair color. Not everyone can do that. Immediately, I think of Air Sun Signs and/or someone with a strong Leo/Aquarius Aspect in their Natal Chart. Leo's are really into their hair, but might not be the type who experiments too much. What do ya think?------------------

When I find a hair colour I like, it becomes my security blanket and I find it hard to change! This is so "Taurus Sun" of me I'm embarrassed to admit it! lolI've been trying to make myself change it for at least a year but still too chicken to do it. I look nicer with blonde hair, it softens my whole look and I like that. But I would love to be brave enough to experiment with colours that would make me look more striking. In the past I've had red hair (for many years) and I also tried dark brunette/almost black. I liked the effect of both of them on me, but now I've been blonde for about six years and had so many compliments, I'm scared as hell of changing it. My fear is that it'll make my facial features look ugly. :P

I think I get what you're saying, awakening- I guess maybe an earth sign would look better (or more natural) with dark hair and an Air sign with lighter. It seems ALL scorpios look best with dark hair. The scorps I know would look way strange as a blonde. In my opinion, astrology does play some part in hair color.My parents have dark brown hair (both w/ heavy Scorpio placements) and yet I have naturally light blonde hair (I have lots of Air and Pisces in my chart). No one else in my family is blonde so I don't believe it's genetics...eh who knows. Geminilover- Security blanket? lol  You should go for it & change the color. I'm sure your 'Gemini Lover' would like it! I just died my hair (you can even see for yourself in free-for-all ) and it looks waaay different than before..A complete dif. color and cut. I didn't really care about what people thought and I guess that's because of my Aquarius sun & Capricorn placements.

Yeah he's encouraged me to change my hair colour before, but now he says don't do it because he loves my hair the way it is right now! Agh! I had to fight tooth and nail to get my mother to accept my blonde hair, and now that I feel more like changing it she wants me to stay blonde too... :P I'm ridiculously obsessed with my hair. I get bored so easily about my hair, I used to change the color before, now I got bored of dieing it and now I am more into haircuts, I used to do at least two different ones (sometimes even very differents) at year, two years ago I did 4 very deifferents in one year...luckily It grows fast but sometimes my pacience is not enought to wait till it grows and I cut it again.Gemini sun, cancer moon, asc leo IP: Logged |

I'm a redhead Taurus. I have a very dark red, kinda brownish-wine hair and pale skin. I've been trying to change my hair color without luck  I also change my hair colorist from time to time LOL They choose blondes and I got even more pale I think I should dye my skin! LOL My eyebrows are furry and thick and dye them altogether is a royal pain. When hubby and I get together again and he spots my new hair colors, I wish you could see the looks in his face LOL But like the Aqua he is, thanks God I heard any comments besides; any woman would die to have your natural hair color! Hummm.... I don't think so, but its cute of him say it! After some frustrated atempts, I'm doing fine just with some highlights done over my natural haircolor lately  At least I can live my eyebrows alone. I think its a Taurus thing like to mess with their hairs color though I love it! IP: Logged |

Aquarius Lover, OMG! That was my natural colour for many many years... but then I got absolutely sick and tired of it and people all said they missed my red hair and that people pay big money to DYE their hair that colour! lol! But now as the years have passed, my natural redness has darkened up even more - I can tell by my dark roots every time the blonde grows out. I have pale skin too - try what I've done and ask for a shade of honey blonde. It's warm and doesn't wash us out too much. IP: Logged |

GeminiLover75 LOL Thats exactly what I heard since I decided to change my hair color! Women pay big money to have a hair like mine! Isn't funny? The way we are never happy with our looks? I think we get bored seeing day after day the same looks in the mirror. I'll take a look at the color you suggested. The name sounds great I'm soooooo curious that I can't wait to see it! I never mess with my hair,too scared of the chemicals etc.Afraid they may fall off....I dont even use gel/cream! but did color my hair once...unknowingly... Was my birthday and was out on a trip,friends colored my hair electric blue when I was sleeping! :O luckily washed off after about a day or so...I gues I looked electrifying though  IP: Logged |

Aquarius Lover, it's so funny because I bet we have exactly the same natural colouring of hair and skin. If you look like what I'm picturing, the warm honey blonde will look great on you! What's your eye colour, btw? Mine is hazel, and that goes with the warm hair colour very nicely. Having said that, I'm now planning to go dark or dark red again in a couple of weeks... I've dyed my hair a few different colours. Ash blonde looks awesome on me. Brown is ok, red is a definite no no lol. Strawberry blonde wasn't too bad.My Asc is on the Gemini/Cancer cusp.. light yellow is a Gemini colour and blue/ash is Cancer-like. I think it's an ascendant thing because I have a friend with an Aries asc who always dyes her hair red. It looks great on her.. red seems fitting for Aries Asc. IP: Logged |

GeminiLover75 Reading your previous post, I thought we could have the same hair and skin color. My eyes are bluish-green, goes fine with my natural hair color and skin tone. I guess God made us just fine! Problems begun when we decide its time to change our looks! I went to a cosmetic shop this morning and found the hair color you mentioned in some catalogs with a little difference from each other tough. Its beautiful! Totally different from the pale blonds my hair was dyed before. I ended up looking like a zombie! LOL Are you getting back to your natural hair color? How long have you been blond? Awakening I guess you are right, dark hair tones look better in earth signs. Must be why I look terrible with a blonde hair and just fine with my natural dark red. My hair used to be a copper red in my childhood and darkened while I was growing up. I really don't miss that tone though! hot_ice Hubby also thinks red hair is sexy

I'm an Aries with Scorpio rising, and am not sure I could dye my hair another colour. Mine is naturally very dark (it's grown a little lighter over the years). I once had a red colour run through my hair as highlights, at a school fair when I was fifteen ~ that looked okay. I wouldn't mind trying a dark red, but my eyebrows are too dark for anything other than dark brown or black. IP: Logged |

Hi Aquarius Lover. I've been blonde for six years now, although each time I have it done it's slightly different. I started off getting just a base colour and having the roots done every 8 weeks, but then progressed into having the base colour done and laying over it with lighter highlights; lately I didn't even get the base colour, and got tons and TONS of fine highlights instead. I think that looks better for me. When I go to the hairdresser, I've decided I'll tell her the options I've been thinking of, and leave the 'artistic decision' up to her... You could try having some honey blonde highlights in your red hair? I bet that would look amazing! IP: Logged |

I have thick hair with gold tones, true lioness hair. But I look good in any hair color, I dye my hair now. I first started dying my hair red than blonde, but I'm sticking with warm tones, I think it works the best with my fiery demeanor! I think Gemini's look great with blonde hair! And Leo's need to have bold hair, for we long to stand out!IP: Logged |

Another way of looking at it is that the wrong color can bring out the WORST in someone which may, or may not be, analogous to what the list of negative traits each Sign has. But a good color might bring out more of what's on the Positive's list.For example, a Cancer woman in her 30's may tend to get frown lines in her forehead, or feel she has to hide herself behind her hair -- which means, she doesn't have the best hair style for HER. So you need to pick her mood up a little, and for some it's usually just a notch, and for others, something wacky and different almost every day. Make her feel she no longer needs to hide behind her hair. It can be a profoundly transcendental experience. A basic rule is, the older you get, the less you lean towards dark colors because they accent any dark lines, circles or shadows on your face. You need to find what called your undertones, and match your hair color to that, always keeping it slighty brighter or highlighted just right. Two really versative hair people, I think of Grace Jones and Kelly Osbourne.
Grace Jones is RIGHT ON THE BORDER almost a Gemini, but she's a Taurus. Don't have her Time of Birth.
Kelly Osbourne is a Scorpio, but looks like her Ascendent is in Gemini.
I also think of Lisa Marie Presley, she changes a lot, and she's an Aquarius with Leo Ascendent. ------------------
