My best friend is a Libra with a Pisces moon and Cancer rising. This does not seem at ALL fitting to me, or her. She is a very unemotional person. She cries very easily in movies, and gets very upset [and often cries] at displays of injustice, like being mistreated [or witnessing mistreatment] by a police officer or a subway ticket collector...
but she's not emotional the way i am, or the way many water people are - she never gets sad for no reason, she's so positive, ALL THE TIME. the most positive person i have ever met. She is fearless, shameless. She admits that she can't relate to water people at all. Her birth time is correct, she checked it with her doctor...
What's up with this?
I've seen a couple other charts that I find don't many any sense either.
Any of you guys share my experience?
Makes me kinda doubt astrology....

Some people can hold it in.

Things base and vile, holding no quantity,
Love can transpose to form and dignity.
Love looks not with the eye, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.

Also too you have to be mindful of the way they may have been raised. Did she have unemotional parents or upbringing. I have a Pisces girlfriend when she was little she was raised by a Capricorn mom and Leo dad and they use to tell her all the time you are to emotinal stop it that is going to get you in trouble later in life. And she is not the typical Pisces. Also like me she has Merc in Aqua too. Keep that in mind..

yeah...
except, she says she doesn't even have it INSIDE.
she doesn't know the concept of 'emotional pain', which i would think a picses moon/cancer rising person would...
i guess some people are just better than me in that regard.

Lunatic,

It seems to me you are making a very generalized comment based on a very few parts of the chart. In order to understand a person's energies, we need to look at the entire chart, not just at Sun, Moon, and Ascendant. Offhand, a fair (Libra) person (Ascendant) who has spiritual (Pisces) emotions (Moon) and expresses (Sun) herself emotionally (Cancer) may behave exactly the way you describe.

Lacking information,

Tim

A natal chart really is more complicated than the sun moon and AC, I bet if you posted your friends chart someone here could explain why she isn't the the spitting image of her sun moon and AC sign.

Like with me my sun is Gemini moon Aries AC Virgo. If you were to just select my moon to see how emotions play out in my personality. You would not only need to look at what sign it was in but what house and its aspects so
moon in aires in the 8th house aspects moon square mars(in its sign and house)
moon trine uranus(")
moon square neptune (")
moon sextile chriron (")
moon sextile MC (")
And even with all that you would still need to look at the rest of my funky chart to understand why I act the way I do.
The complicated nature of chart hurts my head and even though I know I shoundn't, I find my self picking and birth charts trying to get a basic understanding with out the headache.

I agree with everyone else. I have both my moon & venus in Scorpio.. and I am NOT posessive at all, and I only get jealous if I have a reason to be. I NEED freedom and independence in relationships, and that's probably because I have Sag rising, uranus conjunct my ascendant and in the first house.. and my moon and venus are both in the 11th house.

Also note that Pisces is a transpersonal sign. Which may explain why she cries at the injustice and mistreatment of others as opposed to herself. I like this placement of the moon, but I often wish these people would think about themselves first sometimes.

luna*tic12 -

I can relate to your question some because I have similar energies in my Chart. On a recent thread I was saying I have a Cancer Moon, but have always felt like I was in a constant battle to BE less emotional. As if there were certain energies within the same Chart, when you find yourself calling yourself a pansy in mirror...

That person's Mars in Aries in the 0.0 Degrees might be the biggest bully of them all. There is a struggle to leave Mars' incarnation in Pisces, forcing the person to push themselves harder. All the people I know of who have some Aries in their Chart DO NOT like to cry.

Those Aspects to their Saturn may give a clue as to how methods of expression may be challenged. It's like they really want to be taken seriously, in the meantime, they have a Saturn in the 6th House of Work Squared a Mars in Aries in the 0.0 Degree's in the 10th House of Career.

Before you both jump to conclusions about her sensitivity, try to find out if she has a (albeit hidden) need to be acknowledged as being a serious person. If they are giving that too much priority, they might not remember how to feel for now.
