Hey Knowflakes,SO i know a LOT of ppl who are losing their jobs these days..including me. Does anyone know whats going on thats causing this? Anyone else feeling the sting? IP: Logged |

Yes certain metro areas are losing populations and jobs each year, especially ones around bigger cities. Such as Dallas-Houston.Problem is Dallas is a smaller hub right? Are you staying in Dallas, first question? I can't help analyzing, it's my virgo midheaven. Natasha

ScorpioRising,Sorry to hear that. It's very difficult to lose one's job. The best place to start is transits, particularly transits in or to the 2nd house (money), the 6th house (work), the 10th house (career) and even the 7th house (business partnerships) and the 3rd house (communications). Also look for any transits to the rulers of those houses. Pay particular attention to the transits from the outer planets: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and look for hard aspects: conjunctions, oppositions, squares and inconjuncts. IP: Logged |

Scorprising,Sorry to hear you lost your job.  I understand where you're coming from. Honestly, I'm not sure if it has all that much to do with astrology - maybe in the overall scheme of things, but I think in reality our world, our country, and our economy have been changing rapidly in the last few years. I was laid off myself last June. It took me until the end of October last year to find another job. Interviews were ridiculous - especially job fairs. I had gone to job fairs before and there were usually about 60 to 100 people that would show up. Last year, there were literally HUNDREDS! It felt more like auditioning for American Idol! I beat out 90 other applicants for my current job. It's just ridiculous. Sooooo many people are out of work right now. The problem is that the economy hasn't been doing well. We've spent a lot of money on the war, and business are cutting corners as much as possible. People aren't spending like they used to because gas prices are high, interest rates have risen, and many, many people have lost their jobs. In my opinion, this country's in bad shape. Real bad. After losing my job last year, I haven't felt secure since. Every day I wake up wondering if the small business I work for now will decide that they need to save some more money and cut me. I hate living like that, but once you get burned... IP: Logged |

I understand completely..the economy sucks. I hate gas prices-and its sooo hard to find a job. I think I got REALLY lucky with my first one. It was just IDEAL! IP: Logged |

I gave notice at work. [2 weeks] When I showed up for the next days work they escorted me out the door. Three weeks later they locked the door on the buisness and let EVERYONE go.IP: Logged |

Yesterday, My virgo boss just be fired. That was sad .He's a really nice person.And he did work very hard for the job and company...I(scorpio) will take an offer from another company. more famous and much bigger. This year... seems lots changes, lots challenges... Sometimes we have to wait for the good coming... it take times... ------------------

I dont get fired...i just quit! get real bored at times...well okay havent had a proper job yet...only part time...but i guess the job market is kinda booming here in india...IP: Logged |

Sorry for all those who've lost jobs. It's hard. I too lost mine at the end of March. Uranus was conjuncting my MC....I believe Hexxie is going through the same?...it exactly conjucts me again in August.
And yes Saturn is squaring my sun, venus and jupiter.......hard.
This year does seem to be one of events doesn't it?
The only consolation for me is that losing my job means I've learnt to REALLY appreciate what I do have (ironically now I have less!) and I am totally changing career direction...I am going back to college to become a counsellor and volunteering now. That's the power of insane and quirky uranus messing around with my MC!!!!
Lots of luck to all others who've lost jobs. Sometimes we need a shake up though to really find our true direction  ------------------
