Hey everyone,i was wondering about what is meant to be. I'm not sure I believe in it or my faith has been questioned lately. For example, I had a guy tell me he wanted to be with me in a relationship a week before I left the country. He then backtracked from what we had talked about. So basically, why ever have the conversation if nothing was to ever happen? We were both attracted to each other but he had a girlfriend whom he said was splitting up from. I'd known him three months and in that moment when we talked i believed him when he said we should be together and would make it work even long distance. But obviously its not meant to be, he didnt contact me at all. anways, its just my thoughts lately. Sparkling IP: Logged |

First of all I don't ever see trusting a man that I have only known for three months to tell or promise me anything. The fact that he had a girlfriend rather he was breakingup with her or not makes things even more questionable. There is a meant to be believe that, Sometimes it takes awhile to see it many things may have to happen to see it. I can't/won't say that your situation is not meant to be but at some point you have to look at things realistically. TO ME and please do not get offended I just don't see the reality of this not after only knowing him three months. Somethings just have to be proved to me.. Not only that if you dig deep inside you will be able to decifer if your intuned with yourself whats real and whats not.. IP: Logged |

I do believe that there are some things that are meant to be, but obbviously there are also some that are not. However, it's been my personal experience that it takes a lot of time to figure out which things are meant to be and which are not. Sometimes certain things simply need a lot of time to work out ... time that we more often than not are not willing to spend waiting for something that we fear might not even happen. But from my perspective, as long as you're convinced deep down inside that he is the one for you, it's always better to wait and hang in there. IP: Logged |

All I can say is I hear ya.I get a lot of indications that something is meant to be but then it doesn't work out no matter how hard I try. I think I have to stop searching for non-existent ideals.. ~shirty IP: Logged |

I think there is a "you think, it is a meant to be"?Someone was sent to love you and to be loved by you. It is a meant to be. Someone probrably was sent to you just to make you love and make you feel that s/he is Mr/Ms. soulmate. Actually, s/she was sent to punish you especially. It is also a meant to be. You would feel it that way too. Due to Karma, you cannot make the difference between the first one and this one. I do not want to be negative. However, I think I met my twin soul. And the charts look great. And the charts are the charts, not the real life. Our situation is too difficult to deal with. I still do not know whether we are the first or second case. This is the question that you would know the answer yourselves when it is the time......when the Karma is finished. IP: Logged |
