Astro does not show the 165^..The Q in their tables stands for Quintile; the bq for bi-quintile..If you have a 180* aspect [opposition] you must add or subtract 15 dedgrees to arrive at the 165 Quindicile.IP: Logged |

You can use astrolog. And then set the aspect to 165 with 2 degree orb.You can also use Kepler since it would list the degree between each aspects. However, Kepler would not tell you that it is quindecile. You have to read the ASPECT GRID COMPARE table to see which ones are 165 degree. IP: Logged |

If you want to calculate it yourself just add up the degrees when you see two planets that are almost in opposition but not. For instance, someone's Venus at 21 deg in Aries and my Pluto at 6 deg Scorpio are quindecile. It's an almost opposition. If Venus was in Taurus it would oppose my Pluto.. They are quindecile because - 24 deg (what's left of Scorpio, since Pluto is at 6 deg) + 30 deg of Sagittarius + 30 deg of Capricorn + 30 deg of Aquarius + 30 deg of Pisces + 21 deg of Aries (since Venus is at 21) = 165 deg.. Alisa said a 2 degree orb. I think that's a good orb to use. I haven't looked into this aspect enough to know what orb I'd use.. but since it's a small aspect, 2 deg sounds good. The "orb" is what you just asked about.. so basically it can be 2 degrees off either way.. from 163 to 167.

First, you both should have at least one quindecile in your each natal chart. This is what the book said.By the way, you can use astro 123. It would list quindecile aspects for synastry. See www.astro123.com IP: Logged |

lovegoblin -The same thing happened to me with that link, but in the process of finding a good link to a free download of Astro123, I think I hit a payload! Check out this link! www.astro.com/friends/soft_e.htm I DO need to go over the Quindecile once again, I took a quick look a while back, but here's ONE article I found intriguing. I thought the mention of where the 165th Degree lands in the Wheel, where the starting point is at Aries 0.0 Degrees. It made me wonder if anyone has ever studied the Degrees by where they land in such a theoretical Wheel?
Here's an excerpt and the Source :::
"... THE ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW - The 165 degree point falls at 15 degrees Virgo and Libra. Virgo (assimilation) and Libra (cooperation) require effective assimilation of cooperative efforts between the planetary pair's characteristics. Virgo (Earth) and Libra (Air) suggest a combining of the physical and mental. In other words "Do what you think!" Virgo (mutable) and Libra (cardinal) indicate this aspect having an active component which may go around in circles. When these dynamics are not consciously focused, chaos and disruption can reign within the life. The quindecile falling at the midpoint between a quincunx and an opposition, indicates a need for both adjustment and awareness in order to effectively synthesize the planetary energies and utilize this dynamic to our benefit. ..."

His Pluto quindecile my Venus I do not know his actual feelingHowever, since my Moon (my mind/my mood) and NN (life path) also quindecile his Sun, I have been obsessive with him a lot. I have been thinking of him every mins for 2 years. IP: Logged |
