Of course, house placement would have to be factored into the equation too, but I'm just trying to workout if this is a reliable method of analysis. I know Venus needs to be looked at too, but I'm just focusing on Mars at the moment.

A female friend of mine is a Virgo, with Libra rising and Mars in Taurus in the 8th House. Sexually she is very tactile, likes alot of hugging, squeezes, grips me very hard when she **** , lots of rubbing. She gets quite rough when she gets excited. I mean she pinches, but often she does not know she is doing it.

This, to me at least, would suggest Taurus. She says she likes sex to be sensual and intense. Could that be the 8th house talking?

Girls, where are your Mars placements and what TYPE of man are you attracted too? And in what CONTEXT would you find him attractive: at home, in a club, on a farm?

I think there maybe other threads on here which could give some clues, so i'm off to have a look. If anyone knows of anything else which can help my studies please let me know. Thanks

I would suggest that the sign of Mars indicates how a girl recognizes courtship, the sign of Venus how she expresses her feelings/love.

Now, as far as preferences in bed go...I've always, ALWAYS gone for dominant men. DEFINITELY the take charge, authoritarian type. Probably why I've dated more Scorps than any other sign. LOL

I actually got a hold of an old copy of 9 1/2 weeks last summer...the book that the movie was based on. Sadly, I was so turned on by the sadistic dominating boyfriend that I literally couldn't sleep for a couple weeks.

Node, many thanks for pointing out the significance of Juno I need to wait for about a week or so to find out more about my own natal chart details...I'll be working on it. I'm never the hard-working type, which I'd like to change...

My Mars is in Virgo, in the 11th house, and my Juno is in Cancer (according to Cafe Astrology.com) retrograde, but I have yet to find out exactly which house it's in (my Libra ASC makes it either in my 10th, my 9th, or my 11th house)...I've NEVER faked in bed, either! And I like the man to be the one who initiates. I've always tended to be attracted to Aquarian males...simply can't figure out why- maybe it has to do with my Aqua Sun & Mercury (the former being in my 4th house and the latter being in my 5th house)? Absolute intense "fatal attraction"...but so far I have only had "platonic relationships" with them, while each of them used to be (and probably one of them "is being"- coz I don't know his sign, just strongly suspect that he's Aqua too) the guy I really wanted (want- for the present guy whose sign isn't ascertained) to make love to. He would really turn me on and I just would want him almost all the time!

I've enjoyed satisfying sex, but for some reason I've had little of it (NOT because I am fine by living like a nun!)- maybe the best has been saved for the future when the right time comes? For "the one"?

I hope to he!l mars and venus don't speak for the type of men a girl is attracted to. because me and my gf would not match based on that My girl has:

Sun Taurus 10 direct
Venus Aries 09 direct
Mars Gemini 11 direct

so she would like a man with sun in aries or gem.

It must be wrong because I have NO air in my chart. the closest I have is my moon in aries which is in house 3. Moon is the only aries I have..I have a lot of sag though: my mercury is a scorp/sag cusp, 0.16 degress in sag, venus in sag in house 11 too, sag uranus in house 11, neptune sag house 12. and scorpio sun in 9/10. cap mars in house 1. so going by just venus/mars/sun..I don't think we would be compadible..there are other factors that point towards it though.

With few exceptions, every man I've had a brief or long relationship with has been a Cancer or a Scorpio... Mostly Scorpio...

As a Virgo, I tend to experience things a little more viscerally than most..including and especially sex. I like the Bikers, rockers, artists very deep, mysterious individuals...I also frequently like to be in control.. I am so in control in my career that I can let go a little more than most 10th housers.. The Cancers usually give up the control... the Scorps make me want to give it to them and even enjoy it..

I would have to agree 100%

I have Mars in Pisces in the 6th house. I like a man that can merge completely but also has to be strong. I fell head over heals for Mr. Leo (Pisces moon / Mars in Taurus). There is something animalistic and sensual about him. There is no need for music, candles or insense.. things just happen without planning. Sitting on the sofa, a slight touch in a sensitive area and the flames just erupt.

I lose myself in him and he loses his-self in me. I had always looked for that, but found it hard because I am usually attracted to very strong men (in uniform) but they are usually to macho to admit their more..... merging type of side OR they simply cannot merge since sex is only physical. Mr. Leo sees sex in the same context that I do, all consumming, passionate and being able to not only be physically satisfied, but emotionally / spiritually as well.

It also can't just be slow and deliberate - there has to be a change up somewhere during the course. I need someone that can wear me out but not with just coarse "in and out" sex... lots of kissing, holding, scratching, nibbling, biting..etc.... hard / fast... bed breaking fun (and yes, I know about the bed breaking.. Mr. Leo is in the process of looking for a new bed frame as we have broken the Sleigh Bed- Ahhh... Newlyweds LOL)
