Tim,

I know you're the big guru on here, and I really need some help interpreting this chart. It's my sisters', and my parents have been going through absolute H*ll with her lately. Some of this behavior is normal teenage angst, but a lot of it is not. She's highly confrontational, selfish, angry, and downright MEAN. She has a VERY large chip on her shoulder, and I'm wondering if an analysis of her chart could help me figure out why...

Thank you!!!!

Cap,

What a nice compliment! And thanks for posting the birth time, since I am a visual astrologer and need a chart to look at in order to interpret it.

Looking at your sister's chart I see there is an ENORMOUS stellium (collection of enregy) in Capricorn (duty, also authority, career) focused in the 5th house (self-expression). Very simply, she thinks she is the authority on everything and expresses herself very clearly in these matters. Since Mars (being, also anger) is involved this need to be "in charge" sometimes comes out as anger. Probably the most frustrating thing for her is that, at the age of 16 she CAN'T be the "authority" on anything...since she is too young yet to be able to fully handle her own energy.

When she gets older and matures she may want to have some sort of career in the performing arts, perhaps on stage. In fact, that might be a helpful idea...get her out on stage so she can act away some of that "drama queen" energy she is so good at!

Gurunically,

Tim

Thank you so much Tim! That was my first reaction to her chart as well...I don't think I've ever SEEN so much Capricorn! Funny that you mentioned her getting into the dramatic arts - my mom has always wanted her to get involved in theater. She has the Cap memory in spades. I'll try and convey some of this to her, and hopefully once the school year starts again we can guide her in the "performance" direction. She definitely needs an outlet. Thanks again for your insight. You are the "Guru."

Hey! I wanna be a guru too ... anyone else invited to take a look? I was surprised at the dramatic arts angle having matched up so well, although I agreed with everything so far. I see she risks becoming known as "an old ninny" like me. Her Sun in Pisces is in the 7th House, and her need to express herself may be contained and repressed by her closest partners. (Resentment much?)

Mainly, what makes me think I can relate is because I have a really harsh internal Cancer/Capricorn war of Opposition in my Natal, part of a T-Square.

Does she have one?

In a way, it can work in her favor as it will force her to make a decision. When someone feels they are eternally at the helm, it's relaxing to watch someone else try to speed things up for a change.

I notice she has that Jupiter in the 11th in Cancer, which can threaten her sense of security quite a bit, and it being in the 11th and Stationary, it may be almost IMPOSSIBLE to pull her out of her shell. It becomes her way or the highway for most. But when energy is cornered, it looks for a place to seep out, and she's GOT to respect her North Node in Aquarius in her 6th House. Even though this might be her Anchilles Heal since it's in her 6th House.

What's her Chiron Sign & House? She might actually be in a lot of pain -- I hope not, but I wonder if she's in constant search for relief, so her Chiron might help us understands where she hides.

How'd I do? I'ma SUPERSTAR !!
