hey guys it the world cup final today!
france v italy (btw im cheering for france)
i was watching a match yesterday when i thought...
what astrological position may make someone a good soccer player?
the first thing that came to mind was-a strong pisces or aqua influence(as pisces rules feet n aqua ankles n calves), or any 11th or 12th house placements.
is it so, what dya think?

Boooo GO ITALY!

Well girl let me tell you soccer is the one sport that I cannot play! Since I'm a more sporty girl, I enjoy watching Soccer, but playing? No.
I play volleyball, tennis, football (I was on the powderpuff team at school ), and basketball, yet I still cannot kick a soccerball without tripping all over myself. Sometimes at school after a tennis match we would play soccer and I would try and try to get a freaking goal but it just wasn't happening. I was trying really hard, too! I couldn't even run with the ball! Then I'd kick at it and miss...it was terrible, lol.

I do have very strong calf-muscles, though. Just super sensitive shins and I HATE getting kicked in the shins or anywhere close to there.

I know three Taurus girls who are great at Soccer. Maybe because they're sturdy and don't trip..?

My vote is for athletic Sags. They rule the thighs, and they're always on the run. They've also got that fiery friendly competitiveness.

I'm not sure who to root for. Both places are nice.

Very interesting question...back in the late 80s, my cousin owned a soccer team in the NASL and all but two players on the team were either Pisces or Aquarius. (The other two were Taurus and Sag and both played goalie.)

Actually, alot of the best players in this World Cup are Cancers Hernan Crespo, Zidane, DeRossi, Lionel Messi...just to name a few.

After that, I would think Aries...Ronaldinho Gaucho is an example.

But then there's Cristiano Ronaldo who's amazing with the ball. It makes sense that he's an Aqua....it's like he walks on air.Plus he's one Gorgeous Portugue ...

But I also noticed that alot of them, including Cristiano, have mars in Aries.

Haha, yeah, Rob_W, the announcers are talking about astrology.

Saying that there are "No Scorpios on the French team, and the coach only accepted two Leos, as he is wary of them."

This is very interesting...

(Game tied at 1, in the 39th minute)

France's score was so cheap. They completely sold a fake trip-up to get a free shot on goal...

I have 4 sons (3 Aqua 1 Cappy) who play socccer.. all are very good and live and breathe the game..1 is extremely good (Aqua Sun with Libra Moon and Aries Rising, Mars in Scorp) he is super smart and can read the game extremely well..and has more self drive than any child i have ever met!!!He practices every day!! 1 who is showing even more potential with both skill and drive (Aqua with Libra Moon and Pisces Rising and Mars in Scorp too) My cousin plays for the Socceroos and Newcastle and used to captain the Glasgow Rangers and he is a Sagittarius not sure of his time of birth so his moon could be in Pisces or Aries..his older brother (a Cancer) had more skill but not enough passion for the game..

Is anyone psychic here? I mean can anyone tell me what was in Zidane's head when he head butted like that? Im sure he's heard alot of garbage talk throughout his career, but what on earth could have prompted him to do that in a final world cup game? (oh, it could be that the moon was opposite his sun,,,but barthez also a cancer, had the same thing going on).

Good for Italy Got all the Italians (and Italian lovers, as well as Gino/Italian wannabes ) out trying to get people to honk their horns.

yeah i zidane too...
i went into shock after watching what he did, it was really as if he was possessed by something. the he was looking at referee after getting the red card also was scary!
what a nightmare!!
maybe it was the moon-btw was the full moon near, or when is it?
but then in retrospect he made me realize that all of us have dark side to our nature which dont want to pop up like that, but it does pop out at the time when it most certainly shouldnt, saying BOO! into our faces...
kinda reminds me of one of those days when i felt like a complete idiot for certain things that i shouldnt have done.

ps- even barthez looked kinda out of sorts to me. his reflexes were too slow n if it werent for the defenders, there would've been many more goals.
