You left out Robert Downey Jr. and Christopher Walken.

Being the baby, it's no surprise that their emotions should be extraordinarily available. Fire signs are also less averse to confrontation, which is an extremely handy trait for a performer.

Also being so close to Pisces there's a certain amount of wonder inherent in Aries. They have a lot of imagination, and sometimes get caught up in their fantasies.

In sydney Omarr's book Astrological Revelations About You he puts the Sun sign in the 1st house, and makes assessments of the sun sign based on that. So in Aries case, every sign is in the house it rules. So an Aries creativity (5th House) is influenced by Leo. Drama seems like a natural fit. Their careers (10th house) are influenced by Capricorn, so whatever kind of job a Capricorn would be associated with could be attractive to an Aries. Their secret dreams and fears (12th house) is ruled by Pisces, so they may tend to dream of being as artistic and accepting of everyone as a Pisces is. I don't remember what the fears associated with Pisces are.

A couple of things I'd like to add to this...
For some reason or another I've attracted many female Aries friends in my life, and honestly, NONE of them have shown the traditional self-centered Aries attitude always described. Although perhaps, with many fire placements in my own chart, as well as having my MC in Aries I simply didn't interpret them that way.

The ones that I've known have been compassionate, caring, optimistic, fun, and deeply emotional people. I think that the combination of their highly strung emotional nature and their cardinal "perfectionism" allows them to do well in the dramatic arts. I also agree that their fiery nature helps them to bounce back from setbacks or any initial rejections that they may suffer in the early stages of their careers.

I also have to add that I LOVED Adrian Brody's grand entrance and acceptance speech at the Academy Awards. When he planted that kiss on Halle Berry like that...I fell in love! LOL...To grab Halle Berry and lay one on her like that...that takes some SERIOUS cajones!!!

It does make you wonder, doesn't it about the Aries native, but I've been able to connect really well with Ariens, maybe because I'm a fire sign (Sag) myself. I see a little of the infant self-absorbed quality in these natives, but there is also a warmth and a want to connect. I don't know, for me, it's easy, maybe not for other signs. One sign I've seen difficulties with Aries is Cancer. I know a couple of Cancer/Aries unions fail because Cancer requires their emotions to be fed and maintained, while Aries is more independent. There are probably many unions of these signs that have also succeeded.

I like their spirit, drive and sense of humor. The negative for Sag & Aries is we can both be combative if left unchecked between us...just my two cents lol.

They like to laugh, but I don't dig their humor myself.

Perhaps some Aries ppl are not "infant souls", but "very old souls" being reborn? Just a thought. Your two cents would be appreciated

I've heard other people theorize that that's possible.

I'm a Capricorn, and some life lessons (in my perception) seem to be inborn. There didn't need to be any dramatic moments in my life in order for me to get/understand the lesson. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'd say it's possible that this inborn wisdom is due to previous incarnations.

I've never gotten a sense from Aries that they have inborn wisdom. It seems like they learn through experience. Doesn't mean they're not smart, or that they can't avoid disaster. It just means that they have to experiment. They have to push the bounds, and receive whatever consequences comes from doing that. This is why I have trouble with the old soul theory for Aries. You could also tribute my perception to them being impulsive, and acting impatiently without planning things through.

I've got two Aries in my life right now who are nearly twice my age, and yet when they try to teach me something it falls on deaf ears because it's either common sense to me, or they're trying to teach me something that is less effective than what I'd do.

quote:
Linda indicated that Pisces' and Aries' 2-12 relationship means that Pisces has lessons to learn from Aries.

I think that's true. Pisces need to learn Aries initiative, because when Pisces take that initiative they change the world in incredible ways. My favorite current example is Steve Jobs of Apple, Mac, IPod, Pixar, Disney fame. That's one heck of an industrious Pisces.

quote:
An infant soul can easily demonstrate and absorb emotions...BUT I still think there's something...

Well, also there's the fact that an infact is learning through mimicry, and actors are mimics. There's no sign prouder of being an adult than an Aries. It's like a character for them to play. As the signs progress there's less and less emphasis on physical age.

Same here, and I'm an Aries.

Hi D,
I really liked this quote

"And if they fail to learn their lessons in the Piscean incarnations, they'll have to go back to any of the rest of the signs and re-learn until the lessons are learned. Also, sometimes a highly evolved soul, who no longer needs reincarnation in order to learn his/her lessons, can be reborn as flesh and blood human not for his/her own sake, but for saving another individual's soul. So can an Aries person be such a soul? Perhaps some Aries ppl are not "infant souls", but "very old souls" being reborn? Just a thought. Your two cents would be appreciated"

I am an Aries that should have been born a Pisces (by a whole month) and I've always felt the same thing.

One person who should have been finished with his incarnations, having Sun/Moon in Pisces was John Wayne Gacy. Pisces deals with temptation.

Some more Ariens

Steve McQueen
Eric Clapton
Hugh Hefner
Dennis Quaid
Ashley Judd
Aretha Franklin

Hi Defiant

When I was reading this thread earlier, I was thinking how lovely it was. You all had me smiling.

I remembered that Maya Angelou is an Aries, as well.
http://www.astrodatabank.com/NM/AngelouMaya.htm

I think Claire Danes has a Pisces Moon, and Russell Crowe has Saturn there (square Venus). I'm not sure about the others, but I'm too tired to check them all out tonight.

Another Aries that I read about a few years ago ~ Corrie Ten Boom:

Alec Guinness: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000027/
John Gielgud: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000024/

I've had a lot of female Aries friends, and they're my favourites! Far from being self-centered, I find them to be deeply loyal and caring, and always ready to defend their friends with a passion; they speak their mind and are forthright. Competitive yes, but of the Aries women I've known, never in an unhealthy way. My mother is also an Aries, and she is constantly giving of herself to others.

I didn't know Dudley Moore was an Aries! That explains a lot! I loved that cute little man...such a shame that he passed at a young age! I just watched Arthur yesterday morning. What a perfect character for an Aries to play. Come to think of it, SEVERAL of the characters Moore played were very Arien. His characters in "10" as well as Mickey & Maude (one of my favorites) were very much "man-child" kind of roles. The struggles his characters face seem to have to do with a man not wanting to grow up in one way or another.

James Kahn is an Aries, too. As are Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick.
