Hi all!

I born 00:05, 12 March 1981, Barcelona (Spain).

My chart has some things that trigger questions:

1) GRAND CROSS, T-SQUARE or nothing?

MC square Moon and Moon opp Uranus, does mean that IC square Moon and/or IC square Uranus?.
Some software tells me MC square Uranus, other don´t.
Maybe i have a grand cross, maybe a t-square composed by IC-Moon-Uranus, maybe nothing at all. Need help.
On other side, i have read somewhere that angles (Asc,Des,MC,IC) are usually not set in formations because they act more as a catalyst than a energy generator. That way of interpretation is formally reasonable also, because angles are opp by default.
Some experience or documentation about Mutable Grand Cross and Mutable T-Square?. What i know about that formation is that not very common and very upset. Too bad.

2) THOR'S HAMMER
I have this pattern N.Node-Neptune-Mars. What it means the pattern? Some interpretaion for my distribution?.

3) THE SUN BURNS THE SEXUAL NATURES OR SEXUALIZES INNER ENERGY?
I have readed somewhere that Sun "burns" the planets that are too much close to him. In my case Mars and Venus.

4) JUPITER AND SATURN CONJUNCTION
Jupiter and Saturn seems to have oposed influences. Don´t their castrate their influences when acting together in a Librean way?

Thanks in advance!

pisces,

Different astrologers will tell you different things. I use the Ascendant, Descendant, Nadir, and Midheaven in aspect patterns, so I think you do have Learning (i.e., mutable) Grand Square (strong energy), indicating that there are challenges in your life which require learning of some sort. However, you don't have any aspect pattern between North node, Neptune, and Mars.

I don't use the "combust" idea you describe in interpretation: Sun (self-expression) conjuncts (energy is combined with) Mars (being) conjunct Venus (physical, also desires/relationships) can indicate self-expression in active relationship desires.

I don't use the idea of energies cancelling each other out. Energies ADD to each other, so Libra (relationships) Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Saturn (duty, also restriction) creates issues of handling expansion and restriction in relationships. However, since Saturn is exalted (strong energy) in Libra, the restriction energy may be stronger. The challenge is to achieve a balance between having everything (overdoing Jupiter) and cutting yourself off from everything (overdoing Saturn).

Personally,

Tim

Hi
What is a Grand Cross and a T-Square and any other familiar advanced terminology like those?

And if someone reads this who likes to post pics, would you post an example of each of those?
Is there something I can look for in the chart above? Any help would be great, thanks

MysticMelody,

Here are a few links for you explaining Grand Crosses and T-Squares. They are two of several types of aspect patterns that you may see in a chart.

A T-square is formed by two planets in opposition squaring onto a focal planet.

A Grand Cross is formed by two oppositons and 4 squares. It's the completion of a T-square.

Hi MysticMelody ~ If you use the above chart for referrence, the Grand Cross is the square shaped pattern... which is made up of 4 square aspects (Uranus and Moon both make squares to the MC and IC) and, 2 oppositions... this chart does not show the MC/IC axis so, this particular pattern is missing one opposition aspect. The one that is there is the Uranus/Moon opposing.... As for the T-Square... this chart has 2 and, they also make that square shaped pattern... A T-Square is made up of 2 square aspects and 1 opposition.. it basically makes a triangle shape. A Grand Cross is made up of 4 T-Squares....but, remember, this chart is missing 1 opposition aspect so, only shows 2 T-Squares...
Hopefully that makes some sense to you

** edit** cool, you've been hooked up with some good links anyway...

sadpisces,

A link to a Thor's Hammer article written by Linda Reid. Solar Fire does included that one in its software.

I´m still not sure if a MC-IC 'opposition' is valid for that kind of structures. I think MC-IC is an axis not two planets.

However, I´m gonna take advice about the strongs and weakness of a Mutable Grand Square and realizing if it is manifesting on my daily live or not.

Thanks all for those useful!!
