Interesting that you guess Scorpio. As I was reading your description I thought you could be describing my honey. He doesn't gamble for a living, but he gambles a lot and he's good at it and has contemplated doing it for a living. His rising sign is Scorpio. I wouldn't think that Scorp rising would naturally result in someone inclined to gamble seriously, but in the case of my guy, this puts his first house as Sagittarius.
