I would really like to get my chart read by a professional, but I wouldn't know where to start. Or look for one for that matter.

I don't want to get one online from places like astro.com or astrology.com. Those just seem to be like generic readings. And I would like more than just that.

If anyone knows of some good ones (in America or even online) could you give me some info?

Thanks. I'd really appreciate it!

I would recommend Nancy R. Fenn. She does free mini saturn returns. She is an awesome astrologer. www.bemyastrologer.com

She did my chart-and I felt her to be very kind and accurate.

Yes, like carlfloydfan said, they must be cheap. Good but cheap.

Well, I don't know if she is as cheap as you guys are looking for...but I highly recommend Dawn Bodrogi. Her contact info is:

alcuin9@optonline.net

She doesn't have a website, but you can just e-mail her and she'll get back to you with an estimate on how long her waiting list is at that point. She is FANTASTIC. I found her through an evolutionary astrology board, and she focuses in on progressions, arcs, and transits. A natal reading is $100, and she'll work with you til you're done -- I got about 4 or 5 e-mail exchanges of at least 5 pages or so (each), plus a phone consultation.

Here is a snippet from her first e-mail to me, and this here is discussing Pluto's transit to the Moon (my natal Moon is at 27 Sag, so trans Pluto is conjuncting my Moon). This should be helpful for anyone who is experiencing a major Pluto transit at this time:

Pluto/Moon is never easy. Pluto/Moon takes everything we have known, everything that causes security, happiness and comfort, and stomps over it with hobnail boots. Because Pluto is natally in the 12th, the main theme of this time is, “Let go.” This is hard for the Moon, because the Moon itself is essentially about holding on—it is made up of the past. (Hence its relation to Cancer.) Letting go right now feels like death, and the sense of loss when Pluto touches the Moon is all-pervasive and overwhelming. It colours the entire consciousness for the time it is around. Everything seems like it’s being eaten up and spit out, and furthermore, can’t be replaced. Pluto/Moon is always a reckoning with the past that must happen before we can move on—a psychological and emotional ‘cleaning house.’ Furthermore, this purging is dictated by the soul’s needs, and can be ruthless. We may feel stripped to the bone spiritually, at the end of our understanding. Often, with Pluto/Moon, nothing makes sense. Because we are stripped of our defenses, we are left with our mouths hanging dumbly open when Pluto clears us of our previous emotional rationalization and reason.

Hope this helps. She also does synastry readings, and she charges $150 for those. These are really great prices in my opinion, because number one: she does PERSONALIZED readings, not computer generated cookie cutter stuff which never takes into consideration the chart as a WHOLE...and number two: she will work with you until she's covered everything noteworthy. I got a natal reading for $100, and she easily put in 20 + hours into analysing my chart.
