Yeah... that thing where when Virgos feel like they need alone time, or that they need some freedom, or whatever you want to call it, or else they feel wilted and drained and no fun at all(if they every were any in the first place ). Yeah. I'm afraid I have that. lol
Problem being, one of my better friends is a Cancer. Hahaaa.... yes, they really do have that thing where they make up unintended hurtfulness as well. I think I kind of hurt the crab's feelings every time I pass an oppotunity to talk or I'm kind of standoffish. Sooo... is that going to go away, or are they going to think I don't love them anymore every time I need some time to frolock on my own and recuperate and so forth?

BE,

let's not forget you're a Virgo and Mercury is *still* retrograde.

I'm starting to see the situation you described in a couple too many places simultaneously to think it's just time taking its course. So, just stay put until this weekend and let's see what happens then.

Good luck,

jk

I'm a Virgo and I have to get away every once and a while for a change of pace. Before my son was born, I'd just disappear for a few days to regain my balance. I can't really do that now but I do have my alone time, which helps but doesn't take the place of sitting on a dock watching the sun rise with a nice cup of coffee and doing absolutely nothing all day. (heavy sigh)

Hmmm.... Alrighty, I see what you mnean. I'll wait it out and see what happens.
Thanks for the reply. I honestly didn't know Mercury was in retrograde. I've sort of stopped keeping track of those things lately.

The Virgin~ YES INDEED! I know just what you mean. I tend to just disappear from society sometimes too. I can't imagine not being able to do that... I'd be a wreck. >.^

I try to disappear everyday. I didn't know about wilted lettuce syndrome. But yeah, I can identify with that drained, spent feeling/

Virgos life-force can be static, delicate & not solid so its vulnerable to people, places & things, ie. feelings, emotions, thoughts.

I was married to a Cancer for a looonngg time And yes, he would sulk at my even smallest attempt to get away from it all for a moment or two... talk about calgon take me away
He always took it personally...as in I didn't want to be with him... When it was nothing more than needing time away to exercise, meditate, shop, hair appt. These things are important to me...lol Well, they are and it wasn't about him.
It wasn't always that way... We opened a business... him on the road; me working out of the home... I'm in the basement all day... he's outside. He wants to stay home...I want to go out...
I say, get to the bottom of it before imaginations get out of hand...
But yes, wait till after this weekend
I have mercury conjunct Sun in Virgo less than a degree... this has been by far the worst rx in a long long time.

This is very odd.. because my husband and I talked about this very issue about 30 minutes ago.

I'm not a Virgo, I'm an Archer with an Aries moon. I do have Pluto in Virgo conjuncting my Virgo Ascendant in the 1st house.

I handle so many issues, organizations and people that at times I just want to disappear and recharge. In my job I handle 8 grants that have 8 various funds that are responsible for at least 10 to 50 people. At the same time I am a director of an educational services agency so I write grants for other districts and work on our state organization..

Long story short, between work and my personal commitments, I feel like running LOL... My husband is in Germany, so I usually get home around 6:30pm have about an hour and then talk to him until I go to bed around 10pm or so...

When I went to school I used to take a few days to myself and go to the beach to just veg and recharge. I have Archer friends that are the same way, we do that whole being out in the open, burning the candle at both ends only to collapse for a couple days with the phone off the hook or away in the mountains. LOL...

Nice to see we aren't the only ones

Hrm. I only have a Virgo Rising...but I find it fairly easy to get away from it when I want to. I think that's one of the biggest complaints of my friends. That I'm so hard to get ahold of if I don't want to be gotten ahold of. Not to mention, people don't generally notice me in general.

You think I'd have more stamina, being an Aries, but...not so much. I need my recharge time.

I'm a virgo sun with a virgo stellium and I definitely need to be alone at times.. I can't be 24/7 in someone's company - i'd get crazy and irritable.

"He always took it personally...as in I didn't want to be with him... When it was nothing more than needing time away to exercise, meditate, shop, hair appt. These things are important to me...lol Well, they are and it wasn't about him. "

I relate! Not just with partners, but friends too (i have a cancer friend who is extremely clingy and always wants to do things together or in a big group and I just cant sometimes!) she doesn't understand it and sometimes takes it personally.

But if someone doesn't have that same need, then how can you explain it?? :-/

Stargazer~ LOL yep, that sounds like me, alright.

Piuda~ I didn't really know Sags were like that too...maybe it's a mutable thing?

Moonshine~ "I can't be 24/7 in someone's company - i'd get crazy and irritable."
Ah, exactly! That's it. I do get crazy & irritable. I'm doing it for the good of everybody! lol I don't know how you're supposed to explain it to them... That's probably the main problem between Virgo/Cancer relationships in general. Guess you have to just find some middle ground.

This is why I should marry a traveling salesman.

Battle, sometimes I do feel like a wreck! But I'm planning a little get away that's only fallen through the past two years but I have faith so I'm relatively sane. (LOL)
