Hey, I'm all about the Nodes right?! Wanted to share something I saw on Kim Falconers' web site. I feel like an idiot because this never occured to me....anyway it takes some playing with times on Astro but check out the exact degree that you have a Nodal return. The first one should happen around age 19, then 18 yr increments, so age 19,37,55,73. Mine was very interesting to me perhaps yours as well. Happy Returns!IP: Logged |

If that is true, it makes sense... 19 was a big year for me... 1st major heartbreak and I met my father whom I hadn't seen since I was 6 years old. That was a major upheaval and very tough. I also went on my first big trip abroad and I was amazed. Certainly changed my world view permanently. IP: Logged |

What does a Nodal Return signify, anyway?I'm 19 now and this year has proved hellish, to put it simply. But I keep on trucking IP: Logged |

Well Shirty; The Nodes to my mind distill down to directions. You can throw Karma into the mix if you give credence to that belief as well. Our North Node is said to indicate the direction we should embrace, aspire to. It shows our path away from our South Node by house and sign, aspect. We know our SN; it is like comfortable shoes. For evolutionary soul growth we must walk away from our SN towards the unknown of our NN. I interpret the return as a portrait of that road, a check point. How are we doing? Liken it to a marathon runner who at check point 19 grabs a cup of water and takes a drink. At 37 when we are assesing our lives with the approach of our middle years, we look behind us. Do we remain with the safe? The comfortable? Our do we continue reaching? The years this highlights in our lives are most interesting. P.S. I have a 3rdh/9thH aspect NN 19 Scorpio, SN 19 Taurus.IP: Logged |

That's interesting. 19 was one of my most life changing years. Intense but not nessesarily bad. I got pregnant whilst at college, split up with the father, had to completely change my life plans, had to 'go it alone', testing the love of my family, testing my own very young strength. And yet if it hadn't happened that way I wouldn't be where I am now. I wouldn't have my wonderful wonderful son. I wouldn't have been on the path that's taken me here.I wonder about the half nodal return? Any thoughts? It would be conjuncting the south node therefore. I had my daughter during this time, when I was 28 and a half. ------------------ SCORPIO SUN 5TH HOUSE ASCENDANT CANCER CANCER MOON 12TH HOUSE IP: Logged |

I always thought it thought you abt KARMA> the Nodes that is. That you strive to obtain the positive aspects of your North Node. Mine being Taurus-I had to learn (am learning..ahem) patience and to "LET THINGS HAPPEN." The "Let things happen" lesson is a HARD one for someone with a Scorpio south node.
