I recently received an email from someone who is having trouble receiving an "automated" email confirmation from this site, and this forum. Was anyone else notified to expect a confirmation of some sort in order to participate in this forum, and never received it? I've never heard of anyone having this problem and was attempting to find out if it was a temporary technical glitch. Thanks for any feedback if this is your experience. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

I recieved a notification email that I'd registered but I didn't recieve one telling me my subsciption to the forums had been accepted. I just popped on in the end just to test whether I could or not despite this. Seems it has been accepted but I just didn't recieve notification..so maybe there is a problem. ~ R IP: Logged |

Could have been caught by a spam blocker. When you change your email address I think it emails you a new password that you have to use until you change your password back.IP: Logged |

That's a good point, I hope they read this. I told them I'd start a thread on it. Sounded like they were someone new, so hopefully they'll just be able to re-sign. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |
