So...I went on vacation with a bunch of my girlfriends and met this great guy. The island that we were at was packed and this guy singled me out when we were walking down the street one night. He proceeded to look for me everywhere for the next two days. Everytime we saw him or his friends, one of them would say how he was looking for me everywhere. And he was soooo cute, funny, great personality, SINGLE...and he told my friends that he likes that I'm feisty!!! The last night we were there, we ran into his friends and finally found him much later in the evening. He and I talked a lot...about a lot of different things. And when he kissed me, he didn't even try to do anything else. He even paid for my taxi back to where we were staying at 5:30am! The kicker is that he only lives an hour and a half away. As I was getting ready to get on the taxi with my friends, he stopped me and said..."So, Cincinnati is only 1 and half hours away from you." He got my phone number and my e-mail address (asked for both) and then kissed me goodbye before I got in the taxi. Now this guy is a Virgo and since I haven't ever had an experience with a Virgo, I don't know how they act when they are interested. I think if he was only interested in "hooking up" he would have tried to make a move on me. I really want this guy to call, but something says he won't. Which stinks because I haven't really connected with someone that much since the Scorp. I was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom regarding Virgos and how they act during the chase. Are they just big flirts? Should I just chalk it all up to the chase and it being vacation?

you need to pursue a virgo a little bit.

yes they are flirty when they drink or meditate. otherwise they are very aloof. especially the guys.

Well....I, as a virgo (maybe my leo moon and venus sorta cloud my virgo traits), would like to have someone pursue me just as I had the guts to come up to you and flirt.

One: It makes it easier for me to open up...hopefully ur being consistent and not drive me insane w/ mixed signals

Two: It's one of those things, where if I came up to you, you should reciprocate (sorta sounds bznessie.....but, in the end, at least I'm getting some sort of feed back.....just like the classical conditioning ivan pavlov did: bell and followed by meat.....you continue to do that, I'd associate the bell to mean the meat will follow....but if there's inconsistency, I wouldn't know if ringing the bell would always mean the meat will come, so I won't salivate as much.........he did that to a dog, btw)

Three: Fuss over them......Virgos love to be fussed over, though they won't admit it.

Four: You give us the cold shoulder, we will kill you with the silent treatment..."Eye for eye, tooth for tooth" Hammurabi's code (one of the famous kings of Mesopotamia)

That's my 2 cents for now

I always get uncomfortable doing the chase thing...like I am coming on too strong. But I am up for it. I just don't know how to "chase" someone that lives in a different city. I sent him a message and he responded...but he didn't respond to my reply after that. Now granted, we all have busy lives, but it's kind of hard to read someone when you can't see them face to face. He just came on so strong...I don't know. Maybe it was just vacation.

I've had a few encounters with Virgo men. One while on vaction...not to far from me... We were in Nashville (fun place)... met at a bar and spent a great evening.. danced all night kinda thing... nothing more than a very passionate kiss.. We exchanged info... but never heard from him again...He did live too far away, and yes, sometimes it is just a vacation thing... the dust settles and your back to your reality....
The other one was working here one summer and that was just a Summer thing...I really had an affinity for him... even though to look at, he was not my type... looked like Hulk Hogan lol... but he had loads of personality and very charming... He had to have some Leo/Libra stuff going on He begged me to fly back to AK with him. Once he got on the plane, I never heard from him again...

Now being a Virgo myself, I would have to admit that if either one of them had tried to contact me again, I would have taken a step farther... just to see.
But I like to be the chasee... I would think that unless there is a lot fire in the chart, it might be said true for all Virgos...
So, how long since no reply???

So I may be a little overdramatic here...but I had such a good time. I'm being antsy. We left to come home from vacation on Sunday morning. I sent him that message Tuesday night. He sent one back right away. I replied again....and then nothing. My friends were joking with his friends about whether or not we would ever see them again and one guy said "I'm sure Matt will be getting a number. This isn't goodbye." It was just nice to be chased like that. All day and night, for two days straight. He even jumped inside a taxi I was getting on and told me he had been looking for me all day. He was having conversations with my friends about me. His friends were having conversations with my friends about me. It felt great to be desired like that and not have someone try to get in my pants. He was a total gentleman. He's in Cincinnati, I'm in Louisville. It's not that far. I think I'm just anxious about it because it felt great and we connected.

Your not overdramatic... I think its very exciting!! All romantic and what a first meeting story... Cincinnati (love that city btw) is not far at all... and a pretty drive at that! My step-daughter lives in E-town.. just about 30 min south of you... Since its only been a couple of days, I'd give him a chance... Merc. goes direct this weekend.. Its been all about being a day late and a dollar short for me this month... If you don' hear from him by this time next week... e-mail him again or just call him Then you'll know....
Best wishes... and keep us posted!

What sign are you?
and....what makes you feel this way?

LuLu, you're a Taurus right? Next time he communicates ask when he's in town again? Don't chit chat, get right to when there is face to face contact, if he's negative don't pursue him. If he's testing you then ask him to set a date that would be fun.

Don't push too much because earthy men like to make the big moves. Be available for dinner and leave it at that.

Men ask me for numbers and do call but usually if they don't make a date within a week or so they never will because of their own problems. Virgos are sexy, and flirty.

Hi Lulu,

I’m a Virgo male, 6 planets in Virgo in fact! If you want to know more, please ask. I’ll be happy to help.

First off, to respond to the scene you’ve described, here are my thoughts:

If he’s looking for you, then he’s interested. He wants to be with you; to get to know you better. That’s why he took both your email address and telephone number. He wanted to make sure that he could get hold of you. One of them could be INCORRECT you see! This tells me he wants to contact. If he takes a long time in contacting you, he’s probably struggling with the fear of rejection: SHOULD I call her, or SHOULD I not! Will she want to talk to me again or was it just a holiday romance? When he does call, you should say something like this:

“Golly, you took a long TIME to call me, what’s wrong? (there’s always something wrong with Virgos… understand, it’s the perfection thing, so it’s a good thing to ask him what’s wrong) I thought you liked me!” He’ll probably respond with an apology, saying something like: “I’m sorry… I was busy working”. Don’t take that as a negative. Virgo is the sign of WORK, it’s natural for him to put work before anything else. It’s not an indication that he’s not interested in you. So respond to that statement with positive banter like: “that’s okay… work is very important isn’t it!”

When he drew your attention to the fact that you live so close to each other, he was HINTING to you have the ‘romance’ could continue after the holiday. Meaning, he liked you and wanted to see more of you. Also, it was not far, would not take much EFFORT, nor would it take a lot of TIME (one and a half hours, oh, ya, he’s PRECISE!), for him to get to you. And he would probably make the EFFORT to get to you if you gave him the CORRECT encouragement.

Virgo in love needs a catalyst, someone who they can WORK through; channel their ‘quiet’ energy. He saw you as a lively, spirited human being, full of energy, which he could WORK with. That’s another good sign. You’ll need to draw him out of himself, if he’s typical. So talk to him more.

You said: “And when he kissed me, he didn't even try to do anything else”. Typical Virgos won’t make the first move on a first date. That’s normal! Nothing strange there. It’s not gentlemanly. Remember, he’s a gentleman at heart. What he needs here is TIME: TIME to get to know you, TIME to figure out if this ‘fling’ is worth anything. He’s not going to WASTE any TIME on you if he thinks it’s not going to WORK out. The thing here is, you must spend a lot of TIME with him. Water must pass under the bridge. The longer the relationship lasts the more significant the relationship becomes. TIME is the key here. The longer he is with you, the longer he will stay.

However, the relationship must be going somewhere: MARRIAGE. For him to be permanently interested in you he must be able to see that you are a potential marriage partner. He may stick around for a long time as a friend, boyfriend, or fiancé, maybe 5 years or so, but ultimately, he will be thinking “could I marry her?” If he doesn’t think so, then the relationship will fall apart. He’ll say something like “This is going nowhere!”. Understand that for what it is: a sign that he’s giving up. He needs a CLEAR response from you – is it going anywhere! If he does think so then he’ll propose marriage!

At this stage it’s purely physical. He probably likes the way you look; especially the way you talk, your accent. The sound of your voice. I would guess that your voice maybe soft and warm, if so, then he would be attracted to that. Virgos, at heart, don’t like coarse language. They love polite language, so don’t swear a lot in normal conversation, only when you are angry. TRY to be sexy and refined. Tell him, when you have a date, that you’ll be LATE because you want to take a shower and get CLEAN. He won’t mind that. If you are late and you haven’t told him, he’ll get cranky and he could, in the long term, lose RESPECT for you. If you want to have sex with him, drop a hint, that you have cleaned your p*ssy. Inside he’ll be blowing a fuse…on the outside you may just get a smile, although he maybe embarrassed. If you let him know you have cleaned your p*ssy he won’t feel so nervous about going for it. It’s CLEAN you see! Above all, be subtle, not overtly sexual. Lean over, show some cleavage. Ask him to HELP you zip up your dress. Subtly fondle your breast as if it’s normal for you to do that. And remember, if you want anything sexual to happen make sure you are alone and private. Not in public, well, not to start with anyway!

Virgos love to CUDDLE. If he reaches out to cuddle you he is drawing strength from you. Let him cuddle you… he may tell you, quietly in your ear, that he loves you. Cuddling is important to Virgos. Some can even replace a cuddle for sex. A cuddle is enough to be going on with. It means that much! So cuddle a lot!

In addition, another sign that he likes you is the fact that he paid for your taxi ride home. He did something PRACTICAL for you, you see! Virgo is a PRACTICAL sign. When they do practical things for you then they are interested in you. The reverse is also true. You MUST do PRACTICAL things for him. He’ll take it as a sign of affection. If you don’t, then he will question your feelings towards him. Make the bed, with clean sheets of course, do the washing up, do the vacuuming. You see, PRACTICAL things. Fix his car, if you’re so inclined. You don’t have to tell him you love him, do practical things!

I’m referring here to a typical Sun Sign, disregarding the Moon, Venus signs and placements. Also disregarding any conjunctions to the Sun or other aspects. You’ll need to get his chart for a more DETAILED ANALYSIS.

Furthermore, I don’t know your Sun sign or chart so I’m at a disadvantage here. Let me know.

I hope this helps. Again, if you want to know more, let me know.

I am a Taurus sthenri...you are correct. I met the Virgo when we were both on vacation at an island on Lake Erie. I sent him a message earlier today telling him that I had a really good time meeting him. That it's not every day that I meet someone cute/funny/sweet. Also letting him know that if it was just vacation flirting I understand and I hope I get to see him again same time and same place next year. That I am attracted to him and would like to hear from him sometime...and in a joking manner told him to pardon the present aggression. That I don't normally stick my neck out this way because I am so shy when it comes to flirting, but I wanted to let him know that I was interested if he was.

I am hoping this will save me from some hair-pulling and not knowing. I figure if he doesn't respond, I will have my answer. I guess the feeling that he won't call stems from feeling like it is too good to be true. It would be my luck that I will never hear from him again. He was joking around at one point (while I was serving as his "human blanket" as he put it)that we should get married so his first name and his last name would be the same. He joked and said it wouldn't be a conventional marriage since he would have to take my last name to make it work, but it would still be funny. He asked me if I had ever cheated on someone and then if I had ever been cheated on. It came up because some of my married female friends were being a little too friendly with some of his friends. We talked about it and I explained that what you think you would never do at 20 becomes a whole different ballgame at 28-30 when you are married and not happy. I explained that while it is something I would never do myself, I'm not going to judge my friends for their choices because it isn't my life. That all I want is for them to be happy. He seemed to understand that. At the time, he and I were sitting outside watching the sky in a chair. Me sitting in his lap with his arms around me. Sooooo sweet.

Not really... it shows the significance he places on marriage. He DOESN'T want to make that kind of MISTAKE. He's going to be very CAREFUL about who he chooses to marry. He knows that 1 in 3 marriages end in devorce so he is asking you questions like, "do you cheat on people..." he wants to find out your attitude towards marriage. He wants to know if you're a real prospect... is it worth continuing...

GIVE HIM TIME!!! Don't make a rash judgment. Your a Taurus, you can be PATIENT can't you! Keep talking to him. This is very promising in my view

Lulu... as Stargazer has rightly said. Virgo and Taurus is a good combination to start with. The taurus females I've been with have been excellant. The energy is good. However, with two earth signs things are going to be SLOW. Don't rush this, it will work out. Give him TIME to think through what you have said in your emails. Encourage him to meet up again so that your energies can mix.

STARGAZER: Let's FOCUS on Lulu, not me. HELP her, make her HAPPY. Give her the inside knowledge she needs. If this is LOVE then that is worth all the help we can give. THANK YOU.

Daaaaaaaaang Beowulf!.....good job at describing how virgos work. One more thing I wanted to add to the list is that ask ur Virgo everything about his life, and REMEMBER IT!!! That will make that Virgo swoon, b/c u cared enough to remember things about him, even if it's insignificant.

Bonus: use that info that u got, and be creative about it....not only u'll make his day, u'll make his life.

If you can.....do activities with him, whether if it's as small as trying to figure out a crossword puzzle, or as big as trying to learn how to dance (if you don't know), or doing some arts and crafts. Virgos appreciate spontaneity....just not something wayyyyyyy too bizarre. I remember watching this movie where this guy asked the girl if she will be free for lunch that day, and she said she was bz. So the inventive thing the guy did was order chinese and went all the way where the girl worked, and ate lunch together, since she was bz.

Things like that will make him the happiest person ever.

Enjoy the pursuit (and being pursued), and hopefully, next thing we hear from you is getting married!!!

I think Linda wrote in Sun Signs that it takes a lot for a Virgo man's heart to catch on fire, but once it does . . . he would travel high and low for his true love. I think she also said that Virgo men know how slim the chances are to acquire such a special bond. These guys are comfortable with being bachelor's for a long time. One other thing she mentions is that the concept of marriage does not feel natural to Virgo and she goes on to explain why. Have you read this chapter in Sun Signs yet? I highly suggest it.

I think you are doing the right thing by holding onto the card that you are a quality catch for a man and communicating that to him.

If he doesn't respond to you, you will still have wonderful memories and walk away with faith that you'll eventually find the right man who will appreciate you for who you are.

Good luck!

MAR: Hi sweatheart... how are you? Sorry I haven't been around much... work you know!

Lulu: a few pointers from Mar's text:

"good job at describing how virgos work", you see; how things WORK is important to Virgos.

"add to the list" Lists are important to Virgos. Just make sure you're not just one on his list!!!

"ask ur Virgo" Yes, ASK your Virgo, don't tell him, show RESPECT.

"u cared enough" Yup, CARING is another important thing to remember. Whach out when he says 'I DON'T CARE!' He's on his way out of you're life.

"even if it's insignificant" Remember, Virgo deals with small things (details). Insignificant things ARE significant to Virgos.

"crossword puzzle" Word puzzles are fun. Even if he's not an intelectual he will still love it if YOU do word puzzels or if you read a lot.

"learn how to" Ah, yes, this one... learning is very important with Virgo. Don't be a know all, you must be prepared to LEARN, to grow and better yourself. Don't be lazy, he won't respect you.

"happiest person ever" Being HAPPY is important to Virgo. If he's unhappy, he might leave.

"doing some arts and crafts". When it's his birthday, don't go out and buy him a card, MAKE one yourself and give it to him. He will treasure it for life!!!!

"she said she was bz" Yeah, like I said, work takes over a Virgos life. They are BUZY people. Don't think that because he has not emailed you he is not interested in you. He is. He's just got other things to WORRY about that's all.

Oh, and another thing. He's going to LOVE oral sex. So I hope you're up for it. I know three Virgo females and they give the best head I've even known. It's not how they do it, it the amount of TIME they can spend doing it. One spent 2.5 hours on me. Yummy!!!!

Beowulf...I appreciate all of your words...it's very nice of you to give me such a good perspective. Not really sure where my impatience is coming from. I am a Taurus for goodness sake. Mixed with a little Sag Moon and Cappy Rising. It may be coming from the fact that it just sucked to have two great days with someone like that and then come back to the same old thing. I wanted more time.

I'm sure he is busy. He's a bank manager...and I have to say that for someone that is almost 27, that's pretty damn impressive.

And if the sex thing were true, then I would be a happy girl. Nothing worse than a guy who craps out after 30 minutes. If I'm still ready to go, he should be too

Yeah, being a bank manager, he will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders (a lot to WORRY about!). Tell him in an email that you understand that, and that you SUPPORT him in his WORK. Say things like: I RESPECT... or I SUPPORT you in your EFFORTs... He has worked hard to get where he is... TELL him you admire that. Talk about his work, take an interest in his job. Say things like: We can WORK together... I will SUPPORT you...

When it comes to sex... don't put any pressure on him to 'perform'. Instead, TRY this... play a game with him. Say to him: "let's see how long we can have sex for; let's TIME it" Giggle about it, make it fun. I do this! I time how long I f*ck my lovers. It boosts my ego no end to clock up a couple of hours. A couple of hour pumping away. Aries might be able to do it many times in a row; Virgo does it once, but it lasts a long TIME.

Remember, Virgo is the sign of the LOVE Technician. He will want to know, IN DETAIL, what turns you on. TELL HIM IN DETAIL!!! Just how you like it. Where you like it: harder, softer, in circles, up a bit, down a bit. And he will LEARN how you like it. Once he has learnt how you like it... it will be on tap all the time.

Anything else let me know...

I understand Beowulf.......my stellium is in 6th house as well. I'd die if I'm not in school learning something new....or if I don't do well on a subject.

You see Lulu how Beowulf dissected everything I wrote about Virgos......well, that's a virgo trait. They will dissect ur personality to a tee, and categorize it in a way to make a rough estimation of who u r. On top of that.....u know bzness ppl look at economic trends and try to predict what will happen in the future by looking at patterns? Virgos are all about patterns....if they don't see one, they'll go crazy (I should know...lol). Virgos will remember things.....sometimes even the time that it happened (well, I sorta lost that ability ever since I went to college)... Oh and btw......if he has a different nationality or he's into something not a lot of people know about, and he finds out that u know a lot about that thing.....he will be shocked, impressed, and feel that this new connection will make him want to have u for eternity.

Virgos r really romantic.....u just have to know where to get to them. Then of course, innovative compliments will get the virgin want to be ur vixen

Like wulf said....u give a Virgo instructions on how to please u......not will it please them that they know the way to please u.....but they will go out of their way to do so. Remember, Virgo is about work and order.....so instructions fit the category very nicely.

Also, since Virgos are intellectuals.....innovation really jogs their minds. U inspire ur Virgo, and he'll forever be ur student to learn different ways of thinking and doing things.

Btw......when I said fuss over ur Virgo, and ask them all these questions about what they like and don't.....Do it w/ persistence, it will show that u care, curious, and want to in everyway please them........BECAUSE, they will be doing that for u...just as u have seen when he went out of his way to know u, talk to ur friends and asking about u......Virgos are naturally curious........they want to know how everything works, and he will want to know how u work as well (and I'm not saying ur job.....I'm saying how ur personality works, so he can do whatever it is that will work for u)

Last but not least (for now...)....to add on to what wulf said......u know when u have such delicious food right in front of u, and u r savoring each and every bite, taking ur time to enjoy it? (the example I have in my head right now is eating a chicken leg, right down to the last thread of meat on that bone.....and savoring it too; or when ur eating mangos....u have dig and bite off pieces of mango at the same time.....while u have all that juice slobbering around ur mouth and getting a lil on ur nose.....and really, taking ur time to enjoy the flavor of what mangos have to offer)...that's what Virgos are all about, taking time......b/c really, what's the rush? If u have eternity in front of u....then take ur time and do whatever pleases u.

While we're at it.....if u get the chance to do this.......pour chocolate syrup or honey on his body, spread it.....and take ur time licking it all off......I'm sure not even half way and he'll be going into a pleasure overload.

Ur sag moon is what's making u impatient...I have a leo moon, and if I like someone, they'd better like me too and pursue me.....but if they're too slow, I'll just have to take matters into my own hands.....lol

Beowulf and I and other virgos will be happy to answer any more questions that u'd like to ask.....until then....enjoy!
