I was thinking maybe some of these:

-Sag in venus
-Aquarius in jupiter
-jupiter in 11th house

I really do not know. just taking a few random guesses.

I think about it a lot, but would never do it. I can imagine one person loving two people of the opposite sex very deeply in a genuine fashion, it is just very rare!

You see to many idiots like hugh hefner who literally buy his girlfriends who give polygamy a bad name to the majority of society. And yes he buys them: he pays them an allowance. Plus free rent, food, spot in magazine (if you WANT a spot and don't sleep with him, good luck!), certian surgies beneficial to both parties, ect for an obvious return favor.

But I am thinking genuine (non showy) polygamy is possible as long as there are lots of communication and openness along with equal give to both partners to make both feel special. I remember a few years ago two good friends both liked me. I dated one and they stopped being friends because the first girl dated me. sometimes polygamy could save a friendship..but again, I wanted just one girlfriend.

and now I have a great one of course.

This must be my sag venus in house 11 talking, since the eternal wanderer is in the planet of relationships.

carlfloydfan,

I can in some ways relate to your situation.. I recently experienced this with a guy at work that my good friend and I both liked for what seemed like ages... Only thing is I never attempted anything with him because he was already engaged to someone else, even though he seemed pretty uhappy with her. Anyway... in the end my friend put the moves on, and now they are currently dating. We are still friends, but there's a different dynamic now between us.
He'd always made it pretty clear he was attracted to both of us before he'd left his fiance. So I think on his part atleast there was some hope that he could have his cake and eat it too, but I don't think I'd be able to do it. If I love someone, it consumes me and I can't think of anyone else. I don't think I could share him with someone else, and eventually I think I'd resent him for wanting to share me.
He has venus in gemini and mine is in pisces...
Sorry to ramble on.. this ended up being more long winded then what I'd anticipated but no time to edit... have to have a night time driving lesson... oh god...

hey thanks! I think this happens all the time. Thanks for pointing out another real life example.

I think females are biologically wired to have many partners. It use to be so that they would ensure offspring..now, society forces monogomy down peoples throats..and some times, biologicla urges (or not even urges) win out. sure feelings get in the way too, but thousands and thousands of years ago, I think polygamy may have been more wide spread.

Than again, sometimes you are simply happy with one girl . I think even with my recent gf, her best friend may have liked me too.

How are females biologically wired to have many partners? I thought it was the males that traditionally did that.

There is no way that I would want more than one partner. I never felt that I needed more than 1 partner I am a strong believer in monogamy. I believe in being faithful and loyal to my partner. I am not sure what indicates that in my chart. Maybe it's my Venus in Scorpio in mutual reception with Pluto in Libra as well as my Juno in Virgo conjunct Pluto in 1st. It could also be my Moon,5th house ruler Saturn, and 7th house ruler Neptune in t-square as well as my Venus contraparallel Saturn.

My gal is not the polygamous type nor would she accept polygamy with her Moon conjunct Saturn in Scorpio in 7th along with her Moon conjunct Pluto in 7th as well as her Venus in Taurus in 2nd. She is a very faithful, loyal type, and she expects the same from the partner. She is very possessive and very jealous.

She has Juno and Ascendant square Jupiter-Uranus in Sagittarius in 9th. She has dated people of different cultures/countries. She's white, and I am mixed with black. Those configurations can easily indicate interracial relationships. She doesn't believe in traditional marriage and believes that gay marriages should be legalized, and I feel the same way. We both believe that we can have a lifelong monogamous relationship without signing a contract nor being married in a church. Neither of us have a religion. We're are both very liberal. She doesn't care that I have Dyslexia,Dyspraxia with AD/HD traits.

My father had Venus in Sagittarius, and he was black. My mom is white.

I know what you mean by the Venus in Sag Sue.

Some I noticed to be gullable though with women.

And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.

My boyfriend has Sag in Venus, and I've been with him 8 years, so there is an exception to every rule.

I've got Venus in Sag. It's in the 7th, though. The only way I can begin to fathom having many relationships going on simultaneously would be if I met the most utterly secure, non-jealous women who miraculously all gave their blessing to my being with more than one woman. Even if that happened I would doubt that none would get their feelings hurt in some way or another.

As far as the Sag Venus is concerned ... both my parents have their Venus in Sagittarius and they have been married for more than 30 years ... another exception to the rule.

I am a Sag Venus and an Aquarian Sun & Mars with a Uranus Singleton... and I have no interest in polygamy, polyamory or threesomes or anything of that nature!

LOL

I think something a little more interesting than Venus in Sag and some Uranian energy is needed to indicate a predilection to these lifestyles in the natal chart

My boyfriend has his Venus in Aqua, and he's definitely a one woman man.

But he has water galore in his chart... sun & mercury in Pisces, moon in Cancer, mars in Scorpio, AND Scorpio rising.

My ex-boyfriend could never stay with one woman... he has a Leo sun, Taurus moon, Mercury & Venus in Virgo, and Mars in Scorpio. And he has Venus/Uranus square in his natal chart.

LOL - And I just realized a past boyfriend had venus opposite uranus, venus square jupiter, jupiter square uranus, and venus in gemini - OUCH. No wonder that one didn't work out.

Arnicka, now that you say that, it does sound like a very fluid, Neptunian concept! not something fixed and Aquarian/Uranian necessarily.

You could say Venus in Gemini, although I have that and it's an air singleton too. I would say someone with a strong gemini in their chart. Brigham Young was a Gemini Sun.
