Topic: Where do I start?

Hello all:I am new to this, and would like some help and suggestions. I really would like to have a chart drawn for when I was born. I am wondering what is the best way to go about it. I visited astro.com and clicked on natal chart, but then it gave me so many options, my head started spinning! Then I would also like to see how to interpret it (learn what means what). On astro.com there are for instance more than one name of a town to choose from (in South Africa, my birth country), how do I know which one is the one I was born in and what does the numbers next to it mean?...South Africa 27s10,24e0

Welcome LiezellThat astro.com site really is the easiest way to draw up a chart on your own without having your own astrological software. And once the birth information has been input, that site will give a very solid starting place in terms of aspect interpretation. Those numbers next to the city show the latitudinal and longitudinal points for that location. What's the city you were trying to input? IP: Logged |

For this particular person it is Bethlehem, which is in the Free State of South Africa. There might be another Bethlehem in that country.Also, for a big city, they give two options, for instance,
Pretoria, which is in Gauteng in South Africa, so which one do you choose? IP: Logged |

Bethlehem SA has coordinates of 25s45 28e10I checked that on two programs, and astro.com has that on their system as well. It shows two entries for Bethlehem, but they have the same coordinates, so just click on one of them. Pretoria on astro.com has 27s10 24e0 as well as 28s15 28e15 On my two programs, it was showing 28s12 28e10 I think either of those two choices on astro.com will give you a fairly safe read.
