Has any one ever had a professional reading using the techniques of classical astrology: no outer planets, older rulerships, emphasis on dignities by sign, face, term, triplicity, no asteroids, no chiron, and strength of planet expression by house placement, combust, via combusta, etc.Just wondering how it compares to modern astrology delineations. Which did you find more informative?

I have recently been doing Solar charts in Synastry. This is different from the Solar return. It is also called a Part of Fortune Chart. It is said to allow you to see yourself as others see you.. Very interesting in Synastry. With the Solar chart you can usually tell if you have a true love potion leading to a happy ending or a wicked spell filled with illusions and fantasy. Not used much in modern Astrology.IP: Logged |

hot_ice,No, Vedic is different from Classical and Medieval. Classical is based upon William Lilly's "Christian Astrology". A lot of that style is dicussed on the Sky Script website. Medieval is what Robert Zoller and Bernadette Brady teach. It's based upon Guido Bonatti's works, among others. I just wonder what people who have had actual readings think about the old style of practicing Astrology. It's very different from Modern. Stargazer, Thanks for the info. I haven't heard of that before. IP: Logged | |
