Just a general question here cause I know all Aries are not the same.....I grew up seeing violence....Things are peaceful in my life and now I get bored.

It can happen to any sign. If you've been seeing violence though, look for aspects or transits between the sun or mars and pluto.

Many of my friends are Aries and I can't say they've had a violent childhood though a few have brought violence into their adult life and they tend to not back down from a dangerous fight as a rule.

Most Aries are very confident and it shows, and some can be harsh/violent, but I think it has more to do with all the other factors in their personal chart, if they have alot of harsh aspects to Mars/Sun/Pluto or planets that fall in the 8th house. I've known Aries that have been rather calm and shy(Pisces moon or Cancer moon with other aspects going on). So it differs from person to person.

just my 2 pennies but i lived with an aries
(5 planets in aries) for 3 years. he was very fascinated by violence and military history. my bro has aries ascendant-has ALWAYS been attracted to military history-
military tyrants-although he has never been in the military-these violent, tyrannical types fascinate him.too much for all my water.

My gal has Sun,Mercury,and Mars in Aries in 1st along with Moon-Saturn-Pluto oppose Mars,and she has never been in a physical fight. She is quite sensitive with Scorpio Moon sextile stationary Neptune,Neptune conjunct Midheaven,and Pisces Ascendant. Her Venus in Taurus in 2nd sextile Ascendant would seem that she would like harmony in her environment.

The Moon in water, and other water aspects soften it quite abit. I know because I have Mars in Cancer in 1st house and really harsh aspects for being Libra, but it's more of violent 'emotions' than anything else.
