I am Sun, Venus, Jupieter Mercury and Neptune in Scorpio (all except Mercury in 7th house, the latter in 8th)....

What have I done/what do I do/how do I react....???

Well if it goes far enough I am very tempted to do what Scorpios do well..... 'STING' the other person....because I am not being allowed the depth of intimacy or passion with them.

My husband tells me I am "too hot too handle" (except for him, who has amazingly stuck around for almost 18 years).

BUT.....

Of late I am learning that I cannot project my desires/needs on others, so I am attempting to heal this part of myself...

Very difficult, very challenging and it takes lots of self-awareness and self discipline...I have shed many tears and screamed to the Gods many a times.

And if I am pushed too far? Oh then Pluto's power really comes into play, and I cut the person out of my life....

I have never stayed in contact with ANY of my former partners...this is mainly because they have hurt me.

It is too painful to see them ...

Also I have always attracted aloof and detached men...haha.....if that aint Gods divine plan, I dont know what is.....but I am getting the message....S L O W L Y !!

I have Venus and Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th house, and Mars and Jupiter in the 8th house..

What’s interesting about how I deal with people I am interested in, is that I am more attracted to the men I can’t have and who tend to be quiet, aloof, and distant, than the ones who are vocal and direct in their pursuits of love.. when someone hurts me I initially have the desire to cut them out of my life or bite back in some way, but I almost never do.

Instead, I cry about them, resent the fact that they are ignoring me, and get severely depressed. However, (and this has happened before), when they turn around and give me attention again I forget anything happened and I am completely devoted once again.

This is a pattern I have going which I am in the process of healing for my own well-being..

I am young so I still have lots too learn, and everyday I’m getting better

You also have Mars square Saturn with 6 minutes of arc,and that would also indicate those issues that you have with men...especially the quiet,aloof,and distant,cold stuff as well as being very depressed. Also..your Sun conjunct Uranus in 5th with 1'08 orb and Sun parallel Uranus with 3 minutes of arc can indicate that you can be romantically attracted to detached,unpredictable,independent men. Those definitely can be aloof,distant. Your Moon in Gemini in 11th oppose Uranus in Sagittarius 5th with 1'30 orb also factor into your feeling strongly attracted to detached types.

sue - I am like you too on that dpt. Not talking to people who hurt me. Theres NO chance it will ever happen. I dont know why its like this, it just feels very important to keep it that way.

I guess the jealousy that happens in a scorpio when the partner or friend is very independant and have lots of other people around them can make the scorpio feel very threatened emotionally since they need ALOT of attention.
But it probably depends on the guy/girl, if they are very warm and pamper the scorpio as much as the friends, then it shouldnt matter.

I have Sun,Mercury,and Venus in Scorpio. My Venus in Scorpio is in mutual reception with Pluto in Libra which intensifies my Venus in Scorpio. I also have Moon quincunx Pluto in 1st. I also have 2003 UB313 in 8th house. I can definitely relate to all that Scorpio,8th house stuff.

I can be detached,objective and can be very friendly and don't mind if a mate has a lot of friends including guys though.

I feel that my Moon in Pisces square Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd is a factor as well as my Mars in Aquarius which disposited by Uranus in Libra.

My mutable,cadent t-square is too.

Moon is my 11th house ruler,and it trines my Sun.

INTENSE.....in the past I have scared people, especially men....and my parents LOL !!!

But why is it that judging from the number of threads around here every other one is about Scorpio? If you counted up all the sign threads there would be more Scorpio threads than any other. One would think it was the only sign in the zodiac.

There are many other signs that are also intense, passionate and emotional. Fire and all other water signs are intense, passionate and emotional. I don't think that anyone compares to emotional and passionate more than fire signs. Many people would say ( and have said ) I am all of those - emotional, intense and passionate - and I don't have one planetary aspect in Scorpio. How do you explain that? I am a Taurus, Pisces moon and Cancer asc. There is absolutely no Scorpio in my entire chart.

I have tried to get used to the crowd of my
partners,I have stopped getting jealous. I think I can see in person's behavior and others.Ofcourse I am suspiscious sometimes but well can't bother that much as person's genuiness is seen in eyes and body language.

I try to explain as much as I can when I am upset or beforehand how I am going to react but yes it would be difficult after that for a listener to understand and react.That's the reason sometimes I feel it's better to keep it secret then tell them and confuse them. If listener is understanding then it works out great.A person is willing to give and take. If listener isn't understanding then I would give in and then wait how much he is willing to give in. If that person would come back then we would get closer.If not it would never work out.

Mirandee: I guess your son has a Libra merc. let me know if I am right.

There are other indicators of intensity. It's not just planets in Scorpio. Do you have any personal points(Sun,Moon,Ascendant,Midheaven,Mercury,Venus) that are in aspect to Pluto? Do you have any planets in the 8th house which is the house ruled by Pluto and associated with Scorpio? Do you have Pluto angularly placed?
If you have any of those, then you definitely have indicators of intensity.

Do you have planets in firesigns or in aspect to Mars? Do you have an angular placed Mars? If you have any of those,then you definitely have indicators of being passionate,fiery.

There could also be midpoint configurations involving Pluto and Mars that indicate intensity and passion.

with Cancer Ascendant,you are emotional,sensitive which are characteristic of Scorpio along with tenacity which is similar trait with Scorpio.
With Moon in Pisces, you are emotional,sensitive which are characteristic of Scorpio with a mysterious dimension which is similar trait with Scorpio
With Sun in Taurus,you have some of the stubborness,possessiveness that Scorpio has...after all,they are opposite signs. They do share things in common..they are just polarity placements.

I also have the same view as your son. There is no better nor worse sign. I have been doing readings since 1999. I have never thought that anybody was superior nor inferior due to any placements,aspects in their charts. I am a strong believer in free will as the ultimate factor.

A person doesn't necessarily have to have Libra planets to believe in equality. I have Mercury conjunct Venus in 3rd house, and so my Mercury is conjunct the ruler of Libra and in an air house which can indicate similarity with Mercury in Libra. I also have Mercury parallel Venus too.

Another trait of Scorpio,Pluto,8th house is the penetrating the superficial and uncovering hidden stuff. Therefore,it's often associated with the occult and metaphysical. That's why they are associated with research and investigation as well as psychology. It's due to a high degree of focus that comes from its intensity. You can say that it's like hyperfocus. It has to do with subterranean depths. This very unlike Mars and Firesigns.

all the planets beyond Saturn(planet of physical boundaries) are planets that are associated with the metaphysical,and that includes Uranus,Neptune,and Pluto. Definitely 2003 UB313 which might be classed as the 10th planet. That's the most distant body in our solar system.

Centaurs and kuiper belt objects relate to the metaphysical too.

What you said is my point, it is not just the sun sign that we can go by, it's the whole chart and all the aspects that has to be taken into consideration. I was just wondering about this because I am a novice at astrology and trying to pick up more understanding of it all.

Regarding trust with Scorpios opening up to others that may be a factor but not really the case with my son and myself. Of all my kids he was the one who gave me the less problems in his teens. We have always had a good relationship and still in comparison to my Cancer son and my Sag daughter who are very openly expressive of their feelings, their problems, etc. I have always practically had to drag things out of my Scorpio son when I know that something is bothering him. My other two kids have always just come right out with information without being asked what is wrong. But my Scorp son will keep it to himself unless he is asked what is wrong and if he would like to talk about it. However, I can always tell when something is bothering him by his body language and his moods. Normally he says he would prefer not to talk about it and does seem to always work it out without talking to anyone about it. Other times he will tell me what is going on and what is bothering him. It depends on what it is I am guessing and that is normal with males and their mothers. But he has never volunteered anything. He has always had to be asked what is bothering him.

I have a sister in law who is also a Scorpio with a Taurus moon and she is the same way about talking about things with most people but feels at ease with me and is very open with me about things.

I kept my abuse by my parents a secret from others when I was growing up. I didn't like telling my parents about my problems at school. I kept my early special ed experiences a secret from others because I was afraid that they would see me as inferior to them and even retarded which I was often called a lot when I was in special education for 3 yrs because of my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia. Many of us learning disabled people are secretive because we don't want our problems being found out. We often do our best to compensate so we don't look stupid. Many learning disabled have kept their problems a secret. If you are gifted learning disabled with less apparent problems,it's easy to cover up the learning disabilities. I kept those problems a secret from females that I was attracted to. Even when I was in the navy and dating, I didn't tell women about my special ed past. I was afraid that they would see me as less of man. In 2003,my attitude about my special education past changed because I learned more about my Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. I realized that I wasn't stupid even though I felt that way since my special education years.

My Mercury conjunct Venus in Scorpio in 3rd could be my being secretive and secrets in regards to communications,early education,relationships,siblings

my Moon quincunx Pluto - secrets involving my mom. She didn't tell me about her firstborn son until 1993...She lied about her age,birthplace on my birth certificate and information about my father was withheld on my birth certificate. She was 17 yr old runaway at the time when I was born. Of course,I always had problems opening up to her. She has Moon in Scorpio Moon in 5th square Pluto in 3rd.

My Sun in Scorpio - secrets involving my father. I never knew my father. My mom didn't tell me about his daughter(5 yrs old when my parents met) until 2003. I had had problems being open to my stepfather.

i generally dont open up as i feel its unnecsssary taking effrost to make ppl understand my point and my feeling, esp when i know they wont udnerstand or not willing to undretsand. i keep itto myself and cry over the pillow in self pity

First of all, intensity? I don't feel that intense, but if I'm not smiling (blame it on the Leo ASC) then people think that I'm ****** . I am rarely mad, so I don't know why people get this impression. *shrug* Helps that new people NEVER guess that I'm a Scorpio first... their first impressions are Leo.

Jealousy is something that I haven't experienced since high school (13 years ago). I had tons of guys asking me out, and of course they weren't the ones that I *wanted* to date, so I'd get jealous of the girls dating my real crushes. Let's just say that I learned in a VERY EMBARASSING situation that jealousy is not a worthwhile emotion!

Possessiveness is along the same lines... a man's not worth fighting or worrying over. If I don't suit him, I don't suit him. I don't get threatened by other women talking to my man. I usually have the problem that a man WON'T leave me... I'm the dumper.

Having someone plead their dependancy on me is an automatic turn-off...in fact, a few years ago a boyfriend told me if I was going to break up with him, he'd commit suicide. I told him to go right ahead and do it. I'm an anti-control kinda chick.

Depth? I have depth all by myself. I'm not looking to project it or demand it from someone else. If they're willing to make a relationship "deeper" with me, then I'll go deeper.

I see and chat with former lovers to this day. We didn't work out for a reason, so I don't hold hard feelings. Must be the 5 planets I have in the 3rd...

And talk about the 3rd, the closest I get to demanding any kind of depth, if I do demand at all, would be an excellent communicator. I can say for sure that a man has to be a intelligent conversationalist, otherwise there's no relationship. We're not talking PhD levels here of convo, but I'll talk about anything..and in the bedroom, he has to be a vocal guy!

I wouldn't say that I have a "secret keeping" problem either, but with my Moon in Leo in the 12th, I have issues EXPRESSING my emotion. I also have no planets in earth. Pisces is my 8th house cusp, and is also the decante that my Scorpio Sun resides in, so I would say that Pisces plays a very important role in my chart. I feel different emotions all day, and I'm so emphatic with other people... It might be that all the fun and good times I want to have everyday overshadow the feelings that I don't verbalize. Eureka! I've finally found a way to say it... I'm too busy having fun to think about the range of emotions I go through!
