this august I have felt drained, like an old man. I haven't even been working as hard as I have in the past (oh those 60 hour work weeks), not even close, and yet, I am constanally taking naps. No matter how hard I fight it, I end up in bed spacing out or dozing off during the day. Yet at night I sleep very little. I can not shake the habit. I figure if I am up for a solid 24 hours i will shake it and get into a schedule. No go. I want to be in tip top shape for my gfs arrival on the 27th. Is there anything in the current skies that may be affecting me?please help!!! nov. 6, 1984 11:47 am new haven, ct my gf seemed to be feeling this for a while but I think she snapped out of it (april 30 1985 12:59 pm cast france. though she is the classic taurus sun paradox: works hard, is a perfectionist/hard on herself but is very good at being a lazy bum/long sleeps. lil virgo moon in there too. Saturn square your Sun might have something to do with it. It's situated at 15*Leo right now. Another one might be Uranus squaring your Uranus. IP: Logged |

how long do those two last for? saturn is kind of a slow moving planet, hopefully I can overcome this. I work graveyard shift, which defiantly does not help. but its rare to get more than 30 hours a week this summer with all the people, which is why I am perplexed.IP: Logged |

I'm not sure. Saturn is moving away from your Sun right now, but Uranus is moving back towards your Uranus. I know that when I had Saturn squaring my Sun (and my other planets in Aries), I felt a lot older than my true age as well. I was depressed, exhausted and anxious. I'm sorry I can't help you more ~ I'm lacking sleep as well. Over the last few days, my body has fallen into a pattern of "sleep three hours, awake for eight hours; sleep for two hours, awake for seven." Ugh. IP: Logged |

Hi Carl,Astrology aside -- I am a health nut -- have you changed your eating habits lately, been drinking less water, exercising less, etc? I was having a problem with fatigue a year ago but we never really figured out why. I'm thinking it was malnutrition. It's probably best to check health-related things first when it comes to that kind of 'bleh' feeling. I hope you feel better soon! ~shirty IP: Logged |

You might want to try a vegetarian diet. It'll get you out of that "drained" and "spaced out" feeling. IP: Logged |

CFF,Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Feelings of tiredness (needing more sleep) is a sign of hypothyroidism; you feel like you're firing on all cylinders but still not getting enough sleep or rest. Another thing it could be is anemia. The doctor can check those out for you. Do you take a multi-vitamin? It helps... Hope you feel better soon! Sunshine IP: Logged |

I'm thinking of getting my thyroid checked, as I have the same problems. My friend visited me. I've known her for years and never knew she had thyroid problems. I think in her case, her thyroid is just underactive, so she takes iodine supplements. I want to see if that is a valid option for me. I do know that eating foods that have iodine in them make me feel really good. I really cannot say that a vegetarian diet will make you feel better. I tried that. It helps for a while, until you begin to lack nutrients, and then you wind up sleeping for 14 hours a day. Atkins as well. Sometimes no set diet can fix things. Go to your doctor. IP: Logged |
