It increases the population, so really How Fertile are we?

Here's how to tell:

Ceres Sign + Moon Sign

Which sign is the Ruler of your Ceres (as well as your Moon) in?

What houses are the ruling planets of your ceres and your moon in?

What are your aspects to them?

---------------

Here's mine as an example:

Ceres in Libra (2nd House) + Moon in Pisces (6th House)

My Venus is in my 4th house and my Neptune is in my 5th house

Venus Sextile Ceres
Mars Trine Ceres
Neptune Square Ceres
Uranus Square Ceres
Mercury Quintile Ceres
Moon Square Venus
Venus Opposition Mars

how fertile are my positions by the way?

By the looks of it, your placements look really fertile, especially your Pisces Moon along with Ceres in Libra. Your going to get a kick out of mine.

Ceres in Scorpio(5th house) + Moon in Cancer
Ceres conjunction Uranus
Ceres square Venus
Ceres trine Mars and Moon

I am curious what my placements have to say!
Ceres: Pisces, 3rd house.
Ceres conjunct venus, and jupiter
Ceres trine saturn, and uranus.
Moon: Libra, 10th house.
Moon conjunct Pluto, and MC
Moon trine sun and mercury, sextile Neptune.

My natal chart does not have any planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, or 8th house, except Juno in the 4th, so, I am really curious to learn what all of you Knowflakes have to share.

Well Mercurian, what are your aspects to your Ceres itself and what are your aspects to your moon by itself, then check to see if there are any aspects to Ceres & The Moon. Also check in your 5th house to see what lye's there, but also check to see the cusp of your 5th house, and check to see what house the ruler of your 5th house cusp lies in. Also check any aspects to anything in your 5th house to your ascendant. Also check ALL aspects to Saturn, especially if you have Saturn aspects to the Moon and/or Ceres.

That should help. If you have a had aspect between Ceres and Saturn that would indicate a miscarriage, but you may have something else, just check and come back. Thanks.

I'm really curious now too! So let me know what you see cause I have no idea what I'm doing, lol.
My Ceres and Moon are both in Aquarius in the 12th House with Uranus in the 10th House [in Capricorn, don't know if that makes a difference]. I have

Moon conjunction Mercury
Moon sextile Venus
Moon square Pluto
Moon conjunction Ceres
Ceres conjunction Sun
Ceres conjunction Mercury
Ceres square Pluto

Whew. A little repetitive huh.

Im very fertile so I'll add mine for comparison

Ceres Scorpio 4th - Moon Capricorn 6th

Pluto in the 4th Libra [conjunct the IC] - Saturn in the 3rd Libra

Ceres is sextile Venus
Moon is conjunct Venus, square to Saturn, Mars and Pluto

Uranus in the 5th trine ASC in Leo and Neptune in the 5th trine MC in Aries

Arnicka, your fertile but I wouldn't say very, you have Ceres in Scorpio and Moon in Capricorn as you said, but Pluto and Saturn (which are the rulers of those signs) are not planets/bodies of fertility. And with the moon in hard aspect to saturn (which rules your moon), its tough to say how your pregnancies would turn out (if any).

A VERY fertile combination would be:
Ceres in Cancer
Moon in Leo
or vise versa with the signs
Why? because of "cancer" and the sun rules leo and sun/leo both rule children.

Extremely or perfectly fertile would be:
Ceres in Libra
Moon in Cancer
or again vise versa with the signs
Venus + Moon (as long as their are no hard aspects to anything in the 5th house along with Saturn, because saturn has a blind tendency to rule miscarriages.

I hope that helps.

Neptune5 ~ You jumped pretty high in assuming. I know from personal experience that Im very fertile and I dont need astrology to tell me anything about that. Added my placements to share with others based on your "system," tis all.

FYI I know others with Capricorn Moon square Saturn who have no problems with their fertility. Also one who has an Aqua Moon square to Uranus.

Your personally correct Arnicka, 75% of fertility is both genetic & hereditary.

And mind my saying this, the previous posting before your reply (Arnicka), was definitely not an assumption in any way, I was emotionally appalled that you perceived it in such a way, it was correctfully an astrological insight. Yes, the link between astrology and personal experience may be thin or thick, it differs amongst societies, cultures, & personalities. And i'm sure it is slightly different for you...like everyone else*.

Blast from the past! Doing some research on Ceres and came upon this thread.

I have that combo listed recently- Ceres in Libra (in 7th, Venus rules my 3rd/8th) and Moon in Cancer (in 5th, rules 5th).

I just KNOW I would get preggers practically immediately if I had sex (still a virgin at 30, grrrr...). Also family history is that we get pregnant easily with no complications. I absolutely don't want kids though.

I have a lot of hard aspects so I have a thought one way it COULD play out is me getting pregnant by "accident". This could be a challenge to me pursuing my wants especially in areas of career, romance, relationships?

Lotta aspects in general:
Moon conjunct N node
Moon square Saturn/Jupiter (exact)/Mercury (exact)/Pluto/Sun
Moon trine Uranus
Moon inconjunct Neptune (exact)
Moon sextile Chiron; Vertex

Ceres conjunct Saturn
Ceres inconjunct Asc (exact)

Venus ssq Sun/Pluto
Venus sextile Saturn
Venus square Ascendant; conjunct MC

daichovodawn thank you for bumping

here is an article about childbirth in solar return charts: http://www.cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com/childbirth-in-solar-return s.html

i know this is for solar returns, but you have this in natal daichovodawn:

the ruler of the 5th house is in the 5th house This rule confirms an old astrological one stating that any planet in its own house -- and the more so when it's also in its own sign -- brings fulfilment, materialization and realization. Because the 5th house rules children, "materialization of a child" (childbirth) is a possibility.

You probably indeed could get pregnant very easily.

You do have Ceres conjunct Saturn, maybe this shows why you don't really want kids (maybe when your older-Saturn)?

To get pregnant by "accident", I think you'd need a hard Uranus aspect to your Moon, you have a trine. I'm not sure really. lol

Junethird
again this is for solar returns, but i think if you have this in natal it's very good for fertility:

the Asteroid Ceres is in a water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) It's especially strong in the 2nd and 3rd decanate of Scorpio.

+ your Moon in Cancer

there is also an asteroid called Nerthus 601 (shows fertility) http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/001121.html

I have Ceres in Scorpio too (3rd house) + Moon Aries (8th house). My Nerthus conjunct Part of Fortune (12th house).

The watery houses/signs are the most fertile I believe.

You might be onto something there. My mother has Moon square Uranus, tight orb, and I was really not an expected child.

She also has 5H Uranus which definitely indicates unexpected pregnancy or something out of the norm and unique about the romantic-family life. Accordingly I was a very unique kid and put a huge impact on a lot of people close to my mom growing up.

cool sweet-scorpion i guess a hard aspect between Moon/Uranus connected with the 5th house then could indeed indicate an unexpected pregnancy.

Junethird!

Nerthus just shows if someone is a fertile individual. You have a nice sextile between Moon and Nerthus.
http://www.cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com/childbirth-in-solar-returns.html

In solar return you should check the aspects/combinations listed above, if you have any in your solar return. It's actually for ChildBIRTH not pregnancy.

You can post the solar return, I'll try to check for you, if you'd like. Include CERES, PartOfFortune, Vertex, Vesta !!

Cool. Just post your chart, because on the link they researched only females. Post both your 2012 + 2013 solar returns! =)
