It doesn't matter what sign they are. They could still have traits that relate to your 7th house.

I have Virgo Ascendant/Descendant myself, and my gal is an Aries Sun but her Pisces Ascendant/Virgo Descendant opposes my my Ascendant/Descendant axis with 16 minutes of arc. That indicate strong physical connection,attraction and feel like natural partners with each other as well as our approaches to life complement each other, but they can be at odds with each other.

ascendant and planets fall in your 7th house could have an effect on you that you might want to have a relationship with them. They could help you two relate with each other.

I really don't like use of the world,soulmate. I believe a lot of people can be soulmates. Some people it's souls that you know in pastlives. Soulmates aren't necessariy wonderful people that you feel all lovey dovey with. Soulmates can give you serious lessons that help you on your soul evolution. Soulmates can be relatives,friends..not just relationship partners,lovers.

I really feel it's the intense romanticism about soulmates is that set up so many people for disillusionment,disappointment...especially if they don't find what they are searching for.

Also beware of that too...you have Pisces Descendant..that indicate that you prefer a mystical connection with the partner.
I have that too. I have Moon in Pisces square Neptune and Venus parallel Neptune that adds to that. I try to stay grounded. I don't look for soulmate. I just want a lifelong partner. I found her too. Yeah..I feel that she and I are soulmates. A lot of indicators for it.
