Do think your natal chart seems truer to it's nature the older you get?

Assumning that you become more self-aware with the passage of time, you will resemble the planets, with signs and aspects more--but you may resemble the houses less. That is because the houses of your horoscope refer primarily to the early environment and conditioning.

The sign of a planet is a true description, but the house has more to do with how your parents think it is or should be. As you get more in touch with yourself, you will discover the difference between (FOR EXAMPLE) what you really want [Mars sign] and what you have been taught that you should want [Mars house].

It has been written that people tend to resemble their charts less as the years pass--presumably for this reason.

The truth is that your natal chart provides a wonderful map of your potential. It is a tool for self-awareness. I focus all of my work as an astrologer and writer on that.

Rev. Alice -

Would you mind doing a running example of the Mars "want/should want" using Mars in Scorpio in the 6th, as it pertains to the original query?

Thank you.

I am conflicted with this question,I also think that it is a GREAT one. Those that 'go with the flow' [another thred and mutables involved] might miss their greatest growth thru conformity. I think that those that want to evolve, mature, and learn grow into their charts. Those that have a preordained experience in this life can mutate, evolve, or most importantly accept. Acceptance is not a bad word. But the connotation is one of servitude. To the other or to self. If things are equal, balance thru acceptance of self can be realized with a more aggressive approach to meld, or synergize the now, with all that has been learned. I'm...getting wordy and loosing the reader here. But I think that we grow INTO our charts. For good or for ill depending on the our internal need to better ourselves, or our situation.

Hell yeah...my t-square played very early in life

My Moon in Pisces in 6th square retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th and Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd. I was born after a 23 hr labor and had to be induced or it would have been a longer labor. I was born to an interracial couple of a 17 yr old white teenage runaway girl and a black 30 yr old recovering drug addict exconvict who I never knew because had drug problems. He was violent with my mom and we had to move. My father started using drugs again right after my mom left him. My mom invited him over and well..he moved in and he got my mom using drugs, but my mom eventually wised up and kicked him out. My parents split when I was 1 yr old,and we never got in touch with my father ever again since I was 1 1/2 yrs old. Moon in Pisces quincunx Pluto in 1st and Moon conjunct 8th house ruler Mars could indicate the traumatic experience of being with my mom when my mom got shot by a schizophrenic man who broke into our home when it was 3 days before my 3rd birthday. I was also in a fosterhome for awhile when I was 2 yrs old.
I was in special education for 3 yrs because of my Auditory Dyslexia,Dyspraxia which I was born with. I was very misunderstood because of my special conditions.

The t-square has always played through out my life. So has my Sun trine Moon and the rest of my chart. The Sun trine Moon is like my saving grace. It indicates that I have the inner harmony to continue with my life as well as talent and giftedness that helped me overcome the challenges of my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia and got me out of special education 4 years before they predicted.

The chart can easily play out after you are born.
