I don't know about you,but I don't believe that there is any such thing as the chart of a killer period. I am not talking about the violent,aggession potential. I am talking about that there is no chart that shows if they are going to be a killer or not. I feel that the chart shows potentials and not what they are going to do with those potentials. I always believe free will is the ultimate factor. That's what I always believed as an astrologer.

I don't like how astrologers look at killers' charts after the fact and say that their charts were definitely charts of killers. I have seen how Adolf Hitlers',Saddam Hussein's,Bin Laden's and many other infamous killers's been dissected and were seen as the charts of obvious killers. I used to joke about my chart shows serial killer potential,but I don't hurt people. I believe in helping people and treating others like I want to be treated.

I feel that astrologers are being unethical when they are assuming that a chart is definitely a killer's chart or other negative stuff. Would you look at Winona Ryder's chart by only her birthdate and judge that this is the chart of a drug addict after her widely publicized drug problems? I hope not! I share the same birthdate as her! I have never done drugs. I don't smoke nor drink either. On the other hand,both my parents had substance abuse issues. So you see, you can't just people by their charts period.

I have similar stuff with that dude who killed Jon Benet Ramsey
I have Virgo Ascendant like him
I have Moon in Pisces in t-square like him(mine involves retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th and Jupiter-Neptune Sagittarius in 3rd)
I have Ascendant = Mars/Pluto
I have Uranus = Mars/Saturn = Mercury/Asc
I have Pluto = Sun/Mars
I have Venus in Scorpio parallel Neptune which is similar to his Venus conjunct Neptune in Scorpio
I have Sun square Nodes

My gal who is not a killer and has never been in a physical fight in her life:
Sun,Mercury,Mars in Aries
Mars oppose Pluto
Mars contraparallel Saturn
Moon conj Pluto
Moon conj Saturn in Scorpio
Moon = Saturn/Pluto
Asc = Pluto = Moon/Mars = Mars/Saturn

Mahatma Gandhi was a man of nonviolence, but he died from violence has a:

t-square of Moon in Leo in 10th square the opposition of Venus-Mars in Scorpio in 1st and Jupiter-Pluto in Taurus in 7th

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr who followed Mahatma Gandhi's example,and died from violence too has a
t-square of Moon in Pisces in 2nd square the opposition of retrograde Mars in Gemini in 1st and Saturn in Sagittarius in 8th
Asc = Mars/Uranus
Uranus = Mars/Pluto
Mars = Pluto/Node

Oprah Winfrey is an inspirational nonviolent person,but she was a victim of violence...her being raped repeatedly as a child
Mars in Scorpio in 12th square retrograde Pluto in Leo in 3rd - '12
Mars = Sun/Asc = Saturn/Asc = Saturn/MC
Saturn = Mars/Node = Mars/Neptune
Mars = Pluto = Venus/Asc = Venus/MC = Saturn/Asc = Saturn/MC = Sun/Asc = Sun/MC
Sun = Venus = Mars/Neptune = Mars/Node = Pluto/Node

Another interesting thing, I kinda come across wimpy and ineffectual. I have been mistakened for being gay and even called "faggot" because I have a high pitched very softspoken voice and just have very apparent feminine characteristics...my highly sensitive nature the main one. Even a male psychic told me that I have too much female energy and that I have to work on my male energy. I am a lot stronger,tougher,and passionate than I look and sound too. Appearances can be deceiving.

The thing is that we shouldn't be judging a person's chart after the fact,and I believe that it's unethical. There can also be other people who have the same birthdate or have similar configurations that live completely different lives from them. There was an astrologer who had a show,and he had the same birthdate as the serial killer, Theodore Bundy. He definitely wasn't a serial killer. We have to keep in mind that the chart shows potentials. It doesn't show what we are going to do with those potentials. After all, we have free will. We can choose to live our charts in positive ways. Like all of us, the killers were babies too. They began life in innocence,and they had the free will to be positive,productive people but they chose to be negative,destructive people. It had nothing to do with their charts. It had to do with their choices that they made and the things that they did. We can be born with potentially violent,aggressive charts,and choose not to live that stuff out. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. , Mahatma Gandhi,and Orprah Winfrey are perfect examples of that.

If we want to be accepted by the mainstream and scientific community, we have to stop these judgments. They only confirm why they think Astrology is bogus and/or harmful. We have to be ethical and responsible in how we do charts.

That's just my opinion

Glaucus~ The astrologers I've gone to have always told me the same as you believe. That the chart shows POTENTIAL, and that there will always be a CHOICE in how you use those potentials.

Now, I've seen it where killers and rapists can share the same aspect but have it in different houses and signs but, in my opinion, it still remains within the indiviuals FREE WILL to act upon it.

Excellent post, Glaucus!! A friend believes that transits to midpoints can be an important trigger. Here's an article he posted (in 4 sections):

http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/astro/Violence.in.the.chart1.jpg
http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/astro/Violence.in.the.chart2.jpg
http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/astro/Violence.in.the.chart3.jpg
http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/astro/Violence.in.the.chart4.jpg

It would be fascinating if you would share your thoughts on Transiting Midpoints (see http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008019.html )

Thanks!!

Bless you!

I totally agree!

I have had some folks say.."she probably has this or that in her chart"...in an effort to insult me or judge me.

Big egg on their faces I'll bet, when they found out they were totally wrong/way off base.
Freaking steroptypes!

I am not versed in astrology, but a simple chart tells little of the entire picture/profile of a person.
So much more must be factored in and not just astrological factors. Nurture/nature...past lives, mental condition, and even physical and eviromental factors.
Even wealth or poverty are factors.

I get disgusted at being pegged as a typical Scorpio just because that is my sun.
I do not like many Scorpio traits and in fact do not have them.

Thanks again for this thread!

I read about that stuff. It's very interesting. I am not sure. It's not because I don't agree with it. I just don't know. I keep an open mind about stuff.

I have the violent midpoints activated natally

Mars/Pluto square Ascendant
Mar/Uranus semisquare Sun
Mars/Saturn oppose Uranus

I also have Sun/Mars square Pluto.

I hope that I don't get murdered

hmmm...maybe we should check out charles mansons chart too...

welll apart from the chart,there could be a lot of other variables playing around,like the environment,and the other people who he used to be with....that plays a vital role in how a person expresses his energy..

And that again is another question....does the chart influence the people you meet...or do the people you meet influence how you let out you energy....another chicken and egg question....

Thanks, Glaucus I found "transiting midpoints" a fantastic and exciting concept. But I haven't done any correlations to any events in my chart or anyone else's (yet).....

I share your hope.... and let's think positive
