Can anyone give me info or a link where I can find out about the ramifications/meanings connected with a chart that is very heavy on the right side. My daughter has everything on the right side of her chart bar moon; jupiter and chiron Thanx in advance ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... I like Tim Wilson's site for basic interps. It's very easy to understand! http://geocities.com/wilsontctc/ Step #3 ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

According to his site it would mean that that chart is more concerned with others than the self, and is dealing with development and achievement. All but one of my planets is on the right side. IP: Logged |

Hi there I found another link which is more in depth. Here you go: http://www.elbertwade.com/page114.html I personally have all my planets in the right side too and in 3 houses only so I would say it's a pretty unbalanced chart cause one is too focused on the 'others' instead of the 'self' but there are some good points too, just follow the link .IP: Logged |

I have 6 planets on the right side of my chart and 4 on my left. With 3 planets in my 7th house makes me rely even more heavily on people. It is also interesting to learn where most of your planets fall in the 4 sectors (Quadrants) I have 3 in the 1st sector, 3 in the 2nd sector, 3 in the 3rd sector with only one planet in my 4th sector which is my Jupiter in Leo/11th which is the handle to my chart. Shirty - would be interested in ur struggles (only what ur willing or able to share of course) - I am concerned that this may indicate my daughter will be a follower, although on the surface she appears very headstrong. Miss Saturn - am assuming the sectors work from the ascendant and cover 3 houses each (please tell me if I'm wrong) this would give my daughter (Asc Gemini; Sun in Sag): Sector 1 - 1 (Chiron 3rd) Sector 2 - 3 Sector 3 - 7 inc True Node Sector 4 - 1 (Moon 11th) Where would I find what this indicates - Cheers ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... I just run a quick check through my astro database and it appears that females are more likely to have charts heavy on the right side and males - on the left. Kind of corresponds with right/left brain theory. Interesting. IP: Logged |

cat-after reading that article posted by Kohler I realized even more about my struggles! for example, even though most of my planets are on the right side they are in Masculine signs. So the readings for each planet are both the feminine and masculine :S confusing. My struggle is basically consistency. I find it very difficult to make decisions because I often feel very different after the fact. I am restless. I am very good at cooperating with people yet I cannot STAND being pushed around and am very headstrong about my views. In addition my sun in Sag and Moon in Gemini are in opposition.. and I was born under a full moon. I often feel like I'm being torn in opposite directions and I can't differentiate between what is healthy for me and what I desire. I have trouble in relationships as well because I often become obsessive at first and then do a 180 and want to be totally and utterly alone. I fear that I am unfair to the people I deal with on a regular basis because of my inconsistensies. How can one deal with a person who acts a certain way one day and another the next? This is why I get along better with people who are intuitive.. they see through my outer mask. Well those are some of my struggles! ps. mind showing us your daughter's chart? I'm curious to see if it's at all like mine! Does she have Sun opp Moon? It's one hell of an aspect. But it makes you strong in the end.. IP: Logged |

My chart is bottom heavy Re: Quadrants - I only have 1 planet in the 1st, 3rd & 4th and I have 7 in the 2nd!! Everything is in the 4th & 5th houses. ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Looking just at your daughter's Sun, it's easy to garner that she could be both a leader and a follower. You witness both in Sags, and sometimes even at the same time. In my opinion, Sags are the ultimate right hand person. They're great at interacting with people in positions of power. They can take the ideas and instructions of the person in power and organize the rest of the workers around the cause. In this way they are both simultaneous leaders and followers.I think the placements may indicate a semi-late bloomer. There may be some confusion in the early adult life as to what direction to go. In the end, she'll figure it out, though. With 7 planets in the 3rd Sector it's likely she's got some 8th house placements. That will probably incline her towards being interested in things like astrology herself, which could be a good opportunity for her to learn what makes herself tick. Another tool for you that I'd recommend is the Child Astrology Report. Go here: http://astroayuda.com/relacioi.htm Some time ago I paid like $7US, and they gave me a bunch of reports. I'm not sure if it's free now or not, but it shouldn't be very expensive if you do end up paying for it. Other sites might have something similar as well. IP: Logged |

Hi Cat,yes it is every 3 sectors/houses in the chart. Tim first introduced me to all this and I have found it to be very useful. I will copy out what all of the Quadrants mean from my book complete illustrated guide to Astrology by Janis Huntley. Quadrants First Quadrant Houses 1-3 These three houses are highly personalized and self absorbed. People with most of their planets in this section have difficulty understanding the motives of others. There is a certain naivety in their appearance but they apply themselves well and are happy to work alone. The most important word in their vocabulary is "I" which makes them extremely self centred. Second Quadrant Houses 4-6 People with most of their planets in this sector desire social outlets and one to one communication. Work, play, and creativity are important aspects to their development, but they can also be weak and dependent on others for personal satisfaction. Third Quadrant Houses 7-9 people with most of their planets in this sector are sociable and dependent upon the company of others. They do not like to be alone and can only realize their true potential when supported. These people are eager to advance into the big wide world but need someone to hold their hand in the process. They may appear altruistic or self denying in their eagerness to please. Fourth Quadrant Houses 10-12 The final quadrant relates to the world, on a spiritual humane level. People with most of their planets in this sector are often worldly wise and may appear detached from the personal traumas of the physical world. They can be highly ambitious but their innate attunement to the spiritual well-being of the world and the realization that they alone cannot change it's self-destructive course can make them sad, lonely, or depressed. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

AG - Thanx for that, got a short profile on Astro.com, it is quite descriptive of her personality actually. Linda was right with basics , "...there's that little Sag girl waving her heart at you..." and she is definitely a child that you cannot simply say 'no' to, you have to explain ur reasoning before she'll accept your 'no'! But I'm a Libra and love to explain my reasoning so that's ok. Another thing on the profile was that her Venus in 6th shows good health and thank goodness we have been very blessed here, she's never had any serious injury, broken bones or even any childhood illnesses such as chicken pox (touch wood!) She can be quite argumentative and will not tolerate bullying in any shape or form and often sticks up for those smaller/younger then herself - and absolutely adores animals! (wants to be a zoo-ologist) The profile also picked up her artistic talents, she is very good at drawing (even without a mother's bias) when she draws she has an uncanny ability to capture real emotions in the eyes of her 'characters'. My main concerns as she gets older is that she may be lead by the wrong crowd, I do trust her she's a good kid and we have an open dialogue, but in the last year she's gone gothic (although she looks great) she seems to be angry at the world and she's got her first boyfriend (16yr old Scorp) who is lovely, but am worried she's moving too fast and all of a sudden. Oh the perils of raising a teenager I guess I just needed some reassurance she'll be ok ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... hey Cat,Lovely chart your daughter has! She was born a day after me! First of all, seeing that her Moon is trine those personal planets rather than opposing them, I think she will have an easier time with relationship and friendships than I am having. However, thats a lot of Sag in the 7th house! She might be a little restless and easily bored in relationships, yet always feeling the need to be with someone.. Like me. Interestingly I think she does have those 2 sides to a coin.. the arian and sag independence placed in social houses 11 + 7.. Anyway hope that helps a bit Blue- I have Moon in the 11th as well IP: Logged |

shirty - "lovely chart your daughter has..." that made me feel better straight away! The day after you, wow you must be pretty special too then!My daughter and I have been alone together since she was two and we've both been through alot of heart ache, and I can honestly say I would'nt have got where I am now with anyone else by my side - she is a loyal companion and a fierce enemy to anyone who upsets me and she's not shy about letting them know! There was once this time I worked in a theatre and another manager was constantly giving me a hard time and I would get home and rant and rave about it, well my daughter came to see me at work one day (12yrs old) and this woman saw her and went over to her all smiles and tried to put her hand on her shoulder and my girl went "...Don't you dare touch me you horrible woman!" Obviously this woman was shocked and was like "What's the problem" Well my daughter let her have it, right between the eyes, "You're mean to my mum everyday, you're lazy, you lie...would you like me to go on?!" This woman disappeared so quick and would run everytime my daughter came in after that, and avoided me too - GREAT! I guess my fears are arising now because she is testing the waters of the big wide world, (and probably a little bit selfish that I'll be left behind *guilty* ) But, yes, thank you you have eased my concerns and made me feel happier Thank you to everyone else who helped here too - ur information is appreciated ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... That's great to hear Cat! I think I should point out that her birth DAY is a day after mine, not her birth DATE. I was born in dec 15 1986 :P That little anecdote is priceless. I definitely wasn't that confident as a child, a lot more quiet. But Sag/Aries would be pretty headstrong. IP: Logged |
