I was just taking a look at my partner and I's composite chart. We have three instances of the anaretic degree - Mars 29 degrees Aquarius, right on our composite ascendant; Part of Fortune 29 degrees Gemini in the fifth house; and Moon at 29 degrees Capricorn in the twelfth house.Mars and the Part of Fortune in these positions make sense to me... (our first meeting and the start of our relationship seemed fated and there was an extremely strong sexual attraction, and as for the fifth house, yes much romance and fun!)... but the composite moon worries me. In the twelfth house, does the anaretic degree indicate a fated end to our relationship? If so, can love overcome the 29th degree???

I've also been thinking about these anaretic degrees and i've been researching for a while but there isn't much information to be found online.. In my relationship composite we have our 4 axes in anaretic degrees. AC/DC in 29° virgo/pisces IC/MC in 29° sagittarius/gemini. composite vesta in 29° pisces. composite ceres in 29° aries. Does anyone else have any experience with the anaretic degrees in relationships?

Hmm..I'd also like to know. I've never heard the term "anaretic degree," but I gather it means anything in the 29 degree. Does this also apply to 0 degrees? And why would it be difficult in romance? That's interesting though. My bf has his natal axes in the same sign and degree's as your composite. And a myrid of other things in the 29th degree. Suffice to say I'm curious. I guess I have heard something to the affect of 29 and zero and one ruling out that planet and placement, however I think I've heard the opposite as well, making it intensified. However, in my personal opinion I wouldn't be concerned about it. If anything I think it would donate more flexibility to your relationship. And while it can be difficult to interpret - what with the house ruler being different then the planet placements, it can also be easier. All 29 degrees should be exact in the same sign rather than half and half if it were say 15 degrees. It also tells me that that with your axes being all the same that they have equal level of attention and importance rather than finding out years down the road your relationship overshadowed your career or individuality (for example). If its still a concern to you though - remember there is a lot of other avenues to explore. How is the synastry? Most people find more importance in this. You can also look at your composite progression (which I believe speaks out more to your relationship) and I'm sure you'll see a difference in degree there IP: Logged |
