I'm only Aries rising, so this will probably only answer part of your question but I would assume that some of this would be true:

1. Don't lie, tell the truth about yourself;
2. Make sure you know how to make a decision in a reasonable amount of time;
3. Do something fun, like a drive in the country or a walk - eg on the beach or a bit bit mountaineering (anything to do with a bit speed or exercise etc).

I had an aries best friend.

She liked the thrill of the chase. A lot. Don't be all doting on her. She liked men who were, well, men's men. A bit of an attitude, witty and smart.

In order to make it with a typical Arien, you need to be confident, recognize her independence and realize how much she needs to be in the spotlight.

Don't be surprised if she gets the check, but offer to pay initially.

I say, be you - she'll respect you for it and will probably see through all the other stuff if you put on an act.

Do something exciting on your first date.

Remember though, all of this advice is for a typical aries; everyone is different. My friend was a typical aries and always said so.

I'm an Aries, may be i can help: be independent, enigmatic, clever and attentive.
Not much Often the Aries are rather shy, love your girl and she will appreciate it, she knows what passion is.

I have two Arien sisters, they're domineering, obsessive, over-reactive, passionate, did I say domineering?....

After saying that, they're also protective of family (including their big sister---ME!) they're impulsive, aggressive (in a good way----hmmm...sometimes) at least they get the ball rolling.

Geeez, their men...hmmm...they both have similar husbands actually, one is fire (Sag) the other water (Pisces) but what is common is their inner strength, they're both strong males, plus they're both good providers, and good communicators, I think Ariens need someone who can really hear what they are saying.

Good Luck with your Aries lady.

I know an Arian girl, and she likes to get the check but not all the time! Being fearful or not sticking up for your girl will make her unhappy. Even if she's got six toes, and two ex husbands, follow her lead physically, but be supportive financially and emotionally. There are wimpy men and supportive men, there is a big difference and Arian women do not like domineering men, they prefer supportive. Wimpy is when a man is fearful of his choice, indecisive. As long as you decide on her, nothing else matters.

Aries women seem to pick men who like social activities and who trust and respect her decisions.

But get the check anyway.

Why the frown?

Just be yourself. No use pretending to something you're not. If you aspire to grow into something and are trying, keep going . . .

My Arian sis likes men who aren't clingy and jealous. She has always had an active social life, and doesn't like men who try to tie her down. She gives the same freedom in return. In fact, she loves it when men have their own interests and fun.

Why do you think Aries like only people, who have the same qualities as Aries ?
My advice- be unusual like Aquarius, communicable like Gemini and fling your money around like Leo

i'm an aries girl!!!!

speaking for myself i'd say were completely bipolar.

i like guys who are a challenge for example if some guy just comes right out and tells me they like me i'm completely finished with them. wheres the fun if they already think they like me ya know? aries girls like to work to make guys like them, well atleast me.

my advice would be to play it cool. make her do most of the work, be playful and flirty...DON'T be to serious-minded. have fun with it and everything will work out, were great girls. =)

My Aries girl friend only goes for scorpio guys.

Why? They're the only ones who manage to tie her down. Wimps or those who give in to her get ignored.

I think they want a man stronger than they are, who can control and make her respect them.

Usually other guys get smitten and pander to her wants, and that doesn't cause challenge nor excitement.

um, shouldn't we also be looking at moon, venus and mars signs to determine what individual ramgirls like? In particular, mars for the type of men?

I'm Aries...

I like smart men... quick to decide... but hey... if she doesn't like you, you won't even get to first date with her! So, in a way, if you get her to agree to go out with you, you are already halfway there. Now the trick is keeping her interest.

An aries is very much like a Leo... flatery, as long as done with finese will get you brownie points. Don't overdo it or you will get an opposite effect coz she'll think you are too clingy and run.

Be attentive. And NEVER pay more attention to the waitress than you are to her. Let her know that she is the Queen or Princess of the evening for you, but act like a King, not a servant. I know this is very contradictory but as Linda Goodman put it, Aries women are full of contradictions. She wants to know that the man she is with is desired by ALL but he only has eyes for her. Does that make any sense?

... meant to add, I brought up that quote because the same can be said of Aries' Opposite Sign Libra. ... it's one of those "that's similar" tangents of how Opposites can be so similar in some ways. NOT that many ways, if you ask me, but more that the similarities can be striking.

Aries is Ruled by the 1st House Cusp, and Libra is Ruled by the 7th House Cusp. So they also represent :::

Ascendant/Descendant. Two major Points in the astrological Chart.

Interestingly, my Aries friend has a Libra mars, venus in Aqua and moon in 7th house Gemini. But her boyfriends are all scorpios.. I wonder why as well. And scorpio is basically in her 12th house !

I agree with this, that's what I want too!

... yeah, and keeping the Descendant/Ascendant in mind once again, it could also be an insight into how those two Points in the Wheel affect us. Especially the 7th House Cusp (Descendant), because that represents what we're comfortable with coming into it. Being comfortable doesn't mean that you're right, or perfect, but we like to think so. Our Ascendant AND Descendant both want to feel like that quote. Perhaps our Chart shows how one struggles to get to that point. Some of us get stuck, and some of us have a no-worry attitude.
