Well, I do. Actually, I have three. Sun, Mercury and Venus. Mercury also rules my 12th house, so I have been very interested in every little article I can get my paws on that is written about the "House of Sorrows".I used to truly lament the fact that I had so many planets in the 12th (as well as Pallas, Isis, Osiris and Vesta) but in the last year or two I have come to appreciate what it personally means to me. Below is a link to a somewhat more inspiring article on what it might mean to have a planet (or more) in the 12th. I would encourage all who have any placement there to read it, if for no other reason than to balance out all the negativity that typically surrounds this house. So do I...I also have sun, merc, and venus in 12th like yourself...and jupiter, chiron, juno in 12th.
I try to think of these placements as positive but it doesn't always stay that way...IP: Logged |

I have sun and moon (ruler of my ascendant) in the 12th. For a long time I really did not like my birth chart, wished I had been born at a different time. I consider myself a spiritual person, with great inner strength and with the capacity to grow and change. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself and think I am a victim because life was cruel to me. But then I think, this has happened to me for some reason, because I need to learn something.

The only planet I have in my 12th house is Saturn.  But it's also conjunct my ascendant.

....Typically, 12th-house Moons aren't allowed their neediness as children. They learn to cope well, become masters of self-sufficiency, and are often especially gifted at taking care of others. But repressing their neediness doesn't make it disappear. It just slips behind the 12th-house veil.Geeez this rings true for me, I've grown through the 'I'm a victim' mentality, though it can still haunt me. Good reading, thanks!

Nope. No 12th house.All of your Suns in the 12ths would likely help the career of my Sun in the 8th (by putting our composite Suns in the 10th), and vice versa if composites hold any worth.  IP: Logged |

My 12th House Cusp is leo, and heres what I have in it:Jupiter (in the 12th house but very near the cusp so its conjunct) also with jupiter conjunct lucifer and selena white moon transpluto isis just hanging in there by its lonesome at 23 degrees. ------------------

23 ~ Do you mean 12th house moon in a Composite chart or do you mean if one of a couple's respective moons falls in the other's 12th house?Dulce ~ I have a feeling we may have some similarities...not sure, but what is your sun/moon/ascendant? What/where is your stellium? Yeah it's a cool article. I know I have tons of karma in my chart and I think once you accept it and move through the whole 'victim' thing like Katipo said, then things begin to look up. In other words, once you understand the 12th house energy you can use it to make loads of progress, but until you do you're really stuck with your head up your own a$$ wondering why it's so dark. Cancer sun/virgo moon/Cap Asc.
My stellium is Neptune,Uranus, and Saturn plus 2 minor asteriods. Its mostly outer planets but my chart ruler is there plus neptune which actually has the strongest influence in my chart. The interpretations of those placements are true.
I liked the story about the Chinese Emperor in that article; it actually made me laugh.(Sorry, I have dark humor  )

Moon and Jupiter in 12th house, it's nice to think I have hidden protection from harmful things(I need to cancel out the Mar square Pluto that causes me accidents) The Jupiter makes me very charitable especially towards animals(I always befriend the critters IP: Logged |

I have 2 outer planets in 12th. Uranus & Pluto [also lust,and others] While the nature of outer Planets V Inner Planets in the 12th have a different focus, I say that the 12th represents Spiritual Catharsis. The 9th is a part of this as well, but to my mind it is more 'other' oriented in the 9th. Spirituality and growth for your own sake without help from others is held in the 12th. And it is very personal not 'other'. The challenges are tipified here and if not recognized and confronted with an objective view, little will be gained in this life. 12th House is a challenge to be met, and conqured. My Pluto in Leo 12th conjucts my ASC closely; it is a spear in my side that continualy is re-opened and cauterized. The scar tissue is my soul growth. IP: Logged |
