Never really explored this aspect in my chart (house 2/3)... I don't feel that it adds anything to me at all.. Mercury is supposed to run your brain but what does Leo give me? I'm not a loudmouth, I have opinions but I'm not one to express them a lot, especially not in a Leo-like fashion as you might expect from this..

What do you guys know about mercury in Leo? None of the descriptions I've read so far have proved satisfying or insightful...

Just think of it as an dramatic flair to how you communicate. Then again, I'm a Leo with Leo mercury, so I'm not the best candidate for the advice your seeking...

moonshine -

I would jump on that chance with missneptune!

By the way, I wasn't sure which House your Mercury in Leo is in. Some astrologers do the "interpreted as" thing with House Cusps, and everyone seems to have a different opinion on following that.

Just off the top of my head, if Merc/Leo/2nd, it will make you a more conservative speaker/thinker. If Merc/Leo/3rd, it WON'T be the exact opposite energy of it being the 2nd (keep that in mind) - but it will be a more prolefic speaker/thinker.

How would you feel about your Leo Mercury making the difference on whether or not you decide to post here with us, on any given day?

Perhaps there are times when you feel like talking, and then times you don't. Everybody's like that. Maybe the placement of the Merc Leo has something else in the Chart challenging it. It's probably something very obvious, and maybe worth exploring so that you'd be MORE comfortable with your own speaking/thinking style.

Hi AJ,

The house according to astro.com is nearing the end of house 2 so gets interpreted in house 3 - so in my book that makes it house 2.. which probably explains why I'm less than Leo-like in my expressions. I get frustrated by my lack of drive to persuade others with my opinions sometimes - often I haven't the energy, and then wonder why I get bulldozed by others' opinions and find that my own (when I do express them in my own quiet way) are often ignored

I wonder if this is because I have Saturn in Gemini in the 10th house...? Perhaps its causing a communication blockage for me?

After all, I have a Virgo stellium in house 3 and I work in the media - so communication is very important to me - in a sense. I've always been drawn to mercurial pursuits- I absorb books, magazines and writings constantly - but I have some sort of blockage when it comes to expressing myself. Do you think Saturn has a hand in this and not my Leo Mercury?
