Gahh, I'm having some trouble interpreting my Solar return, I was wondering if anyone could help. What stood out for me was the significant amount of planets in Scorpio. And how there's 7 planets in fixed signs, which conflicts with my goals because this year, I wanted to make changes. I would think all that fixed energy would hinder my willingness to change a little...  IP: Logged |

With more planets in the 2nd house (physical, also values), your values may be very important to you at this time. With more energy in Scorpio (transformation) than any other sign, transformation seems important. So perhaps there is some value transformation going on...which seems to be what you were talking about!

The significance of the solar return runs from one birthday to the next, with a three-month overlap at both ends. The main transitional month is the one right before your birthday. A stellium in any house (obviously) indicates a strong concern with those themes (especially if the Sun is one of the planets.) They are the areas to watch out for because you may become so focused on them that other parts of your life suffer. The important thing to remember about solar returns is that they are part of a cumulative process. The more attentive and pro-active you are this year, the greater your options next year. The less you accomplish now, the more limited you will feel as time goes by. With all those fixed planets, it’s is an indication that change (or a lack of) is a major issue during the year. Situations appear to be either/or with no options in between. Security becomes equated with familiarity even when what is familiar is difficult. Fear of making decisions that would greatly alter your life, could keep you immobilized. You also might have issues with stubborness. If your life is already stable, then this will be a time for building and maintaining resources. With all those planets in water, the emphasis is related to an increase in unconscious impulses and psychological factors. You may be more psychic or intuitive. If you feel overwhelmed by your own emotions, this is a great time to see a counselor.
