Topic: am i setting myself up for heartbreak?

I feel so drawn to this guy and get mixed signals from him. I'm not sure who would feel these placements and aspects more in this synastry but it seems to validate my strong feelings towards him. Am I the only one experiencing the pull?

Looks like you're really into this guy. Can you provide the birth times for the two of you? (Or a synastry and a composite chart for people to look at)From the text there's some 8th house planets in the synastry - that creates an intense pull, at least for the person whose 8th house is activated, if my understanding of synastry is correct. To add something more... me and this person have become very close. We have been spending alot of time together over the past few weeks. Both of us are going through big changes in our lives right now and help console each other. He just had a heartbreak and I'm starting into a divorce that had been emotionally nonexistent for 5 years. We get into deep conversations about our lives and as much as we both value our friendship I seem to be getting more and more drawn to him emotionally but think he is not feeling the same pull in that direction. I'm too afraid to loose the friendship if I push for something more but it does hurt to repress the emotions that come over me. I've tried analyzing the chart to get some insight as to why I am so drawn to him but being somewhat a novice it gets a bit confusing to interpret the aspects. Could someone please help me with understanding some of these aspects and positions between us?IP: Logged |

The charts both look pretty good, you have some basic moon-venus, venus-mars, and sun-mars aspects. These are good for relating physically and emotionally. There are a couple of warnings here though. There are moon-saturn and venus-saturn conjunctions cropping up in the synastry and composite. Saturn gives stability and encourages a relationship to go long-term, but it will shortcircuit anything that's meant to be lighter than that - and you'll have more trouble with these aspects being the fire sign. There's also a Venus-Uranus opposition in the composite chart - I can't honestly say this is in any way good if you want your relationship to last more than a month after it takes off. The saturn aspects will help offset this one, but its still a wildcard. Take your time if you can and don't tell him too much just yet, until you get more clues from him. Because there's plenty of personal planet interaspects in the synastry, he's surely feeling at least some of the same things that you are. Since he's a taurus he'll take a bit longer to open up than you'd like even if he's interested, so give him some time before you make up your mind. Hope this helps,

I have always felt my moon-saturn conjunction. Some things make a little bit more sense now thinking about his own moon-saturn conjunction. Does his venus sitting on top of my moon-saturn help soften mine or does it create more tension on his side? Also you said fire sign? my moon/saturn and his venus are taurus and his moon/saturn are gemini along with composite. Do you think that we are also getting effected by the saturn/moon-mars square in the synastry even though the orb is 7 33 or possibly softened because of the saturn/moon-mars trine in composite? I've also wondered about the saturn/moon-neptune opposition in composite but thought the moon trine pluto/n node/mars and venus/neptune trine in composite may help support that.Well that venus-uranus worried me a bit too but thought it may add some excitement since I seem to get bored soon after I start relationships. His clues are whats soo difficult... everytime he makes a step forward he suddenly makes 2 back, almost like he tries to confuse me. Where do you think I'm getting this unsettling draw towards him though? I'd really like to just keep it "friendly" because god knows we both could really benefit from the friendship right now but damn that inner stirring for more. star-
i totally agree about we are to learn something deep out of this but I have since pulled myself back because of the fear of getting too emotionally involved. I know that I should find the strength to stick in there and learn what I'm supposed to be learning from this but it's all so overwhelming right now. Looking at the energies between you, you have Sun and Moon in contact with each other, indicating there is a "connection" between you. That darn Saturn of mine seems to get in the way all the time especially hovering over my moon. I do agree, there is much for each of us to resolve in our own personal lives before embarking onto another journey. That's what I keep saying in my head over and over "keep it light". There is much to learn from this I'm sure. I know the "future goals" are very enticing to us both right now but like you say... "Take it slowly" is sure to be the best for us both.

OMG ....somebody who born close to when I was born - April 3, 1971 here. I haven't looked at the charts in detail. I'll see what I can pick up looking at the charts cause our planets are very close to each other.How do you find the venus square to jupiter and neptune? I think that I definitely feel neptune more. I'm frequently let down because I tend to idealize people. It seems to take me awhile to see the big picture and then jupiter gets in the way with being hardheaded. I used to have a really hard time with sun square mars especially as a child. Being angry and defensive is never very attractive. Don't get me wrong... it's still always my knee jerk way of reaction but have since learned other ways to calm it down... most of the time.
Don't even get me started with my saturn. I often feel that I've got the worst timing and life will never be smooth sailing, but on the other hand I do enjoy challenges.
If yours is anything like mine you must have alot of challenges too. I only have, in close aspect, 3 each of sextiles and trines but 7 squares and 5 oppositions and out of the 3 conjunctions 2 are pretty challenging. But I am more aware everyday and always trying to grow.dreamer IP: Logged | |
