Ok...

We've all wondered if this could happen, but...I now know it can...

I did a synastry between my birth chart and the date/time/place of an event...

My houses and the signs governing the day I was born are all perfectly conjunct with this event (sometimes within one degree, but identical degree conjunction.)

Anyone ever experience this? Is a Synastry between a person and an event valid?

This discovery drove me to post here, so thanks in advance for any thoughts...

Its interesting you should bring up this topic cos I did a first meeting chart with the guy I'm seriously into.

My houses and its houses are exact.

The planets seem more harmonious with his chart however.

But when I compared the first meeting chart, personal natal charts and composite charts to each other we have far more positive aspects than in just our synastry chart.

Kinda thought that was interesting cos we don't have the best synasty in the world but I've never been so into anyone in my life.

Maybe thats the reason.

Since I am a beginner to this, I am so relieved to already hear of two others with a similar occurence! Cool site...

Twilight zone! HA! Without a doubt.

I thought maybe I had the dates wrong or something but I went back through my diary and there it was.

Weird. Kinda explains a lot though cos that first meeting was seriously intense. We'd sort of seen each other around a bit but never actually spoken or gotten close enough to lock eyes.

Hi All ~
Cool to see that there are a few who share this... I recently found that, the synastry between the chart representing the first meeting of hubby and I, and our son's birth chart, shows the houses conjunct... I found it very cool
I'm fairly sure I've not had the same occure in any other synastries I've peeked at.
If I can find the string I started about it, I'll post it here as there was a reply with some info.

Interesting to hear of two events with the same "conjunct houses" thing...!

ozMeg, still - i think it's cool about 'someone' having conjunct houses to the day you met...

Well I hope it was one of his favourite days ever!

So funny, I have the weirdest effect on him too. If he sees me on the friday he always plays footy really well on saturday. And if he plays well on saturday we either meet up or he calls me.

Haven't decided if I make him aggressive or happy yet tho! LOL

I want to know more about exactly what you said too.

I'm on board too, with the Event Synastry. House Cusps lining up almost exactly in one that's been important to me.

I wonder if there is anything else in common besides the Cusps matching up? For example

* Do any of the Event Planets fall into your 7th House? Do any of your Planets fall into the Event's 7th House?

* Any Conjunctions to the Event's, or, to your Moon?

Ok I've had a few beers so I can't be bothered going into it now. My personal asteroid showed up in his natal chart in the seventh house which I thought was nice.

Data is this if u wanna check it out-

me-
22/2/78 4.10pm melb aus

him-
5/3/85 7pm melb aus

fist contact-
14/1/06 11.30pm melb aus

Go for it! The whole things giving me brain overload so I'd really appreciate an unbiased opinion!

The event's north node and vertex are in its 7th house.

His natal houses are the same as its, strangely enough, and mercury, mars, venus and vertex are all in the 7th.

He's actually got the meetings vertex conjunct his w orb of 2 deg.

My asc is conjunct the events mc w orb of 1 deg.

Looking at it though it seems he was more affected by the event. Or I'd like to think so anyway!

Yep, I knew it was a significant day before I ever ran any charts or ANYTHING like that. The whole day and the events that led to us bumping into each other on the street and stopping to talk where an absolute twilight zone. Can you say 'fated'??!!! He asked me out right then and there, and we're still together 14 months later. The whole thing was completely life-changing. Such a significant day for me. I also found that the ascendant (or some other important part of the first meeting chart, I can't remember which it was now) was conjunct his vertex.

Its powerful and scary.

I think we're both a little overwhelmed by everything. It was so unexpected.

We had the best chat last night. Things seem to be headed in the right direction.

It scares me actually. I've been more concerned about whether he likes me or not, I didn't stop to think about what we'd do if he did.

I get the feeling he's way ahead of me in this process sometimes. Cos he used to pull back and I didn't understand why but now I do cos I wanna pull back.

But I won't.
