Hi. I was born on aug 28th 1976, at 12.58 am, so I am a virgo, and I understand that this upcomming eclips will be in virgo...strangely after many years without travel I have undertaken to start a journey on the 22nd wich will take me to at least two countries I have never seen before, and last anywhere up to six weeks. Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on what I might expect to experience and if this is as significant as it seems?IP: Logged |

Hi where were you born? You should see in what house the eclipse falls as this will tell you in which part of your life it will have effect. Your sun is not conj with it so that it good. You should also see if any other planets via aspect the house ruler is affected. I notice that you have jupiter in taur that could trine this eclipse. Jup is about foreign travel and because it is trine and jup is a lucky planet, it might not be bad as such; just a change in circumstances in travel. Btw I'm not a pro astrologer and not very good with eclipses either. IP: Logged |

Gem asc at 25deg is right?Eclipse will be in your 4th house. Ruler of 4th house/IC is Virgo and the ruler of it is Mercury is in 4th and in libra. The eclipse will be more or less conj with mercury. remember I'm still a junior astrologer, but I would say that maybe something will happen at home and the news might get distorted while getting to you. I repeat the stuff about jupiter. Also the ruler of your 9th is Aqu. Its ruler Ura (in 5th house) is about 45 deg (semi-square) from the eclipse. It might indicate some frustation with travel and pleasures maybe that day. But please, you should see if you can see if anyone else know, the advice is from my junior mind. IP: Logged |

thanks again, it all sounds a little worring, but I am sure I'll get through it. I don't know if I misunderstood you, but I think my ascendant is in scorpio not gemini, don't know if this changes anything.IP: Logged |

I keep on getting Gem asc for you. If it is sco, it will make a difference as the 9th house would be ruled by something else other than Aqu and so I'd have to do that bit again. Likewise for the IC stuff IP: Logged |

Thank the Lord its sorted!9th house concerns foreign travel. In your chart, it is ruled by leo. Leo is ruled by the Sun. The Sun is in your 9th and conj MC. I doubt anything will happen as the sun has no aspect to the eclipse or 9th house cusp. As said before, the eclipse will be roughly conj mercury (and mars) and it will occur in your 10th house. 10th rules career, businesses, government, your general life direction. Mars conj might indicate something martian happen, eg accidents, war, fire etc. But that does not really affect you directly as such as it is in the 10th house I would say and you are on holidays. Otherwise, it is also conj your venus, so maybe something might happen in your love life. Everything kind of points back to career, maybe you'll hear something there. Nothing really attached to foreign travel as such. Again, I will tell you that I am a junior astrologer, best to go to someone more experienced. IP: Logged |

hey junior astrologer, thanks so much for that. I wish there was something I could do to reciprocate. I could do you a basic numerological reading, but you probably know all about it already, but the offer stands if you wish and promise to bear in mind that I am an even more junior numerologist than you are an astrologer.

For a nice graphic of exactly where the Sun Eclispe will be in the sky compared to your Natal Sun, and to see what House it falls in, go to astro.com > FREE CHARTS > EXTENDED CHARTS > Use Sept 22, 2006 for TARGET DATE > Choose NATAL CHARTS & TRANSITS That's a snapshot of where the Eclispe will be. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

waterberry -Other than what I just posted to view your Natal/Transits, I wouldn't worry about the Eclipse Conjuncting your Natal Sun, even if it did. It would just mean you would have to rely on much more intuitive/regenerative energies in your Natal, which we all have. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Hi, thanks for that, actually I don't feel especially worried or nervous, I just thought it was interesting and wondered if there was some obvious link, which would be pretty cool. In fact I am pretty sure that all is well. Thanks again.IP: Logged |
