As an adult, I feel more at home being a follower. I am an extremely focused and hard worker, but secretly prefer to be "directed" by a leader. I am severly torn about the whole situation at most times.

It is hard to realize such a fate.

I like to be a leader but I can also follow.

By the way, I read that if you have more planets on the right side of your chart, you are more likely to follow, while having more on the left side makes you more independent -- or have leadership qualities. So I thought it would be interesting for people to list how many of the main planets are left/right.
I have 9/10 left (which is a good indication that I would rather go my own way and I am also Libra, by the way).

LOL, yeah, Leo and to make it worse, I have 9/10 on the top half, too. Not that it's bad.....but I could use a more balanced chart like yours! Wanna trade?

I am Virgo. Not a leader, not a follower. Virgos are not usually leaders because they lack the drive and the desire to run all over people. One exception to this is a Virgo boss I had who was truly one of the most malevolent persons I had ever met.

But they don't make good followers either, because they are too critical.

I only like direction from those I respect; and who have proven capeable, and in some situations better able than myself to run the show. If not, I tend to run things in a subTle and sometimes not so subtle fashion. My chart is even left 5 right 5. MC Taurus Sun Taurus, 9th-> Mars Gemini 10th.

virgo's too critical.....he he sometimes i wish astrology traits were not real!

I am actually a very good leader, and I do enjoy it....but......the minute you get someone with a leadership personality next to me.....i will fold like a house of cards....yes master? I just hand over the reins.

That's a good way to put it....Virgo doesn't have the DRIVE.

Leaders = too much responsibility, don't like being tied. I like doing what I want, when I want.

All leaders have had to follow at one point to learn how to lead.

I am a Leader but still have to follow what is required to get the job accomplished which also makes everyone and anyone a follower.
