This is my friend's chart. I know it means something when all your planets are concentrated on one side of the chart, but I don't know what exactly. Does anyone here have any knowledge on this that they could share with me? I'd appreciate it!

Thanks.

Yes its called a stellium. Your friend technically has two - one in the 5th house (consisting of 6) and one in sco (consisting of 4 planets). Generally 3 is the minimum number of planets required for a stellium and they must be more or less conjunct. It indicates a trait of self-absorption in the person (conjunctions are supposed to mimic Aries in nature) and there usually is a major life lesson associated with them depending on where they fall. In your friends case she might have 5th house lessons - children, hobbies, romance, creativity etc and/or Sco lessons - penetration, death-birth cycle, the mysteries of life or research.

I find his Chiron exactly on the Asc and as the handle of his bucket formation intriguing!! With all that activity in the 6th house this man could well become an extraordinary Healer.....
He also has a Yod with Chiron as the apex planet, focusing and pointing The Finger of God right onto Chiron.....

Chiron in the 12th house: As always, Chiron shows where we can do more for others than ourselves. A 12th house Chiron may compulsively try to take care of the poor the sick, and the unfortunate while neglecting their own needs and those of their own family. Conversely, there may be malingering and the person with this placement may themselves always seem in "need" because of one (frequently self-caused) "problem" after another. This placement tends to make a person feel tired and fatigued. If you have this one, be sure to get plenty of rest.

Chiron in the 12th
In Eve Jackson's study, the third most frequent position of Chiron in the charts of healers /therapists is the 12th house. Of these, two distinct groups were noted: those who practised `spiritual healing', such as the laying on of hands or even absent healing and those who worked primarily with dreams or guided imaging. I did a chart for a woman disabled from birth who has the Sun conjunct Chiron in the 12th; she now works as a psychological counsellor in a hospital (12th house of institutions).
For those with Chiron in the 12th, unhealed wounds may be buried deep in the unconscious or stem from a difficult pre-natal experience. The psychologist Arthur Janov, author of The Primal Scream, was born with Chiron in the 12th in Aries: he feels that the way to reconnect to one's true power and vitality (Aries) is through releasing these deeply entrenched early traumas.
Reincarnationists might propose that those with 12th house Chirons have had connections with healing or teaching in previous lives. In any case, those with this placement have the potential to tap a rich source of practical wisdom stored in the recesses of their own psyches.

I see a stellium in the SIXTH house and NOTHING in the 5th house. The 6th house has to do with daily work, also routines, health issues, and analysis.

Confused,

Tim

Zala,

You said:

quote:
...Chiron exactly on the Asc and as the handle of his bucket formation...

The chart pattern is closest to being a BUNDLE, not a bucket. From Tracy Marks' book "The Art of Chart Interpretation:"

quote:
Bundle pattern - "All planets are contained within a trine - 120 degrees, or...a maximum of 130 degrees...self-contained, focused personality who resourcefully concentrates...[their] energy upon a limited area of life, indicated by the signs and houses occupied by planets...This individual...has the capacity to develop...[their] resources to the utmost...[the first planet to have crossed the ascendant, moving clockwise] often indicates energy which may be used to achieve in the area of life indicated by the far midpoint of the bundle."

All the planets except one are enclosed in the trine between Neptune and Moon except Mars. However, since mars (being, also action) is the first planet to have crossed the Ascendant, Mars energy is strong in this person's life. The far midpoint of the bundle is in the 12th house (spirituality), possibly indicating the importance of spirituality in this person's life.

If we include Chiron, the bundle becomes a "fan pattern":

quote:
Fan pattern - "All planets but one (or two in close conjunction) are contained within the trine of a bundle pattern...[These one or two conjunct planets] is at least 60 degrees apart from the bundle area and opposes at least one of its planets...uses the handle planet...[(one or two conjunct planets)] as a source of support..."

This indicates Chiron energy could be a "source of support" to this person.

Correctively,

Tim

NosiS,

Since this person has most of their planets on the bottom right of their chart, they use what they know about their inner world to develop relationships with others. For more on this, see Step 3 in the link below.

Linking,

Tim

Welcome NosiS

So you are basically interested in the way all the Planets are concentrated to one side of the Wheel?

I'll just tell you what I see. You've got the a HUGE emphasis on Saturn. Everything Saturn/10th House/MC/Midheaven/Capricorn. It's probably something very obvious already, that this person is very Capricorn-like. I'm saying probably. They may have a very unique (dark?) sense of humor, or can relate to great struggles others go through.

Next, I would look into the Moon & Neptune energies in the Chart, specifically see how those two Planets are getting along by Aspect in the Natal. These two Planets will help this person realize a lot about their limitations in life. Sort of, where the buck stops.

There's some similar stuff to my Chart which I can relate to. A concentration of Planets in the 6th. The Sun is here too, so this is where the person is very mindful of themselves, what they think of themselves, who they are. But Opposite this energy is unrealized energy, represented by the 12th House in the Aries Cusp.

This person may seem disingenuous TO THEMSELF. There has always been a great need for this person to know exactly who they are, but no one is born with that knowledge in the conscious way these energies desire.

That 12th House on the Aries Cusp forces them to do so even more, and since we are involving the 6th & 12th Houses, Chiron being all alone way over there requires this person heals themself FIRST.

I have a Chiron in Pisces in the 10th House, so I can relate to that Chiron being in the 12th Opposite a strong Saturn placement (somewhat equal to it being in my 10th). I agree this person has a huge healing theme, but I have a feeling they go through a stage where they'd rather not heal themself first.

In general, I think the overall energy of this Chart needs to learn how to be flexible, go with the flow, cooperate, strengthen their spiritual faith. These are not easy energies just from the sheer physical energy it can translate into.

Nosis, I was born 4 days after your friend, same year.

All of my planets are within 79 degrees. Three planets in the 3rd, five in the 4th, and two in the 5th. Some astrologers call this a sign of a "specialist" (???), but I don't see how it has applied to my life.

web,

Houses indicate where we focus our attention in life. The fewer houses focused on the more intense the energy focused on these life issues. Your houses focus on issues of 3rd house (thinking, also talking, writing), 4th house (home, also emotions), and 5th house (self-expression).

In a focused house,

Tim

Well, I should've been more clear:

I understand what the houses and the planetary stelliums in them mean (3rd house = communication, etc). Those are astrology fundamentals.

What I meant was that I don't see these things really manifesting in my life.

My biggest concern for years has been finding a career that I'm passionate for... but perhaps it is so I can support my all of my 4th house desires.

Communication (3rd house) is crucial in relationships for me, and a loving happy family and home (4th house) is crucial to my life goals, but these things take a far distant 2nd place, or perhaps are even potentially hopeless in my eyes, if I can't produce a foundation on which to build them (career).

Its just how I've viewed reality. "Home" means nothing without a career to support it, and therefore, career has always been paramount to me.

Maybe my five 4th house planets are creating 10th house (career) envy.

Maybe its my unaspected Capricorn Mars...

Hey web,

I am no expert but my intuition tells me that maybe if you worked on the 4th house issues (and other occupied houses), other thing should fall into place. Maybe Tim's post can be extended to say that even if those house issues are NOT the focus of your life, they should be. And maybe you'd be happier if you tried that out?

It's a total shot in the dark, to be taken with a grain of salt.

take care

web,

Perhaps it is helpful to consider that Capricorn (duty, also career) modifies your South node (the past) which Cancer (home) modifies your North node. It is possible that focusing too much on your career in life could hold you back. Also your North node is in the 11th house (friends, also other people's self-expression), so it is possible that you might like to do work to help other people.

Guessing,

Tim

Hmmm... there are so many things to consider.

But you're right Tim, it seems the more I think about it, the more ideas I get, which only serves to scatter my energies. But I'm 23 and I feel like I'm behind my peers in the realm of making a direction for myself.

I want a career that I can be proud of and stimulates me passionately, but everything I've tasted so far leaves such a bland taste in my mouth.

Anyway, thanks for the words, folks.

Welcome Calioppe

Because of all the energy going towards that Saturn. All those Planets in Scorpio in the 6th House are important too. There's a lot of energy in that area, there's a concentration of energy there. It's neither good nor bad. And there's a lot in Scorpio, so intuition will be highlighted with the empty 12th House on the Opposite side.

All the those Planets in Scorpio in the 6th House can cause a nervous breakdown. But this Chart will desire to learn from experiences, and reach out to others in their time of need. As long as they do not overextend themselves, they are golden.

That's just what I see, no cut & set rules.
