** Your Starcast for September 22-October 22

Every astrological month treats us to a new Moon and a full Moon, but on the 22nd a solar eclipse will also grace us with its awesome presence. As the heavenly bodies do their dance, the next few weeks will be all about tying up loose ends, having your feet are planted firmly on the ground while dreaming big, assessing your relationships, and enjoying some well-earned downtime as well. Read on for more details on what specific scenarios the cosmos has in store.

September 22: Solar Eclipse (New Moon) in Virgo
It's time to get out the broom, the vacuum and the dust mop! This is the second new Moon in Virgo; the first was on August 23 and occurred at 0 degrees of Virgo. This second one takes place at 29 degrees, and this one is a big deal since it's also a solar eclipse, which is like an extra intense new Moon. New Moons are a time of new beginnings, and this second one in Virgo is emphasizing the necessity of getting organized and getting your act together. So, ask yourself: Are you running your schedule or is your schedule running you? It is time to get down to the basics of how you are taking care of yourself, how you are getting things done.

Solar eclipses occur at the north or south lunar node with the north node representing the future and the south node, the past. Since this eclipse occurs at the south node, it is clean-up time. It is time to take care of those things you've been meaning to get to that need your attention. Pay special attention to the issue of overwork, which can cause repetitive injuries and stress-related illnesses. What a great time to get an exercise program together and to eat healthfully! Since powerful Pluto squares this new Moon, you'll want to let go of the plans and projects that are clearly putting way too much on your plate.

This new Moon will most affect Virgos born September 20-22, Sagittariuses born December 19-21, Pisces born March 19-20 and Geminis born June 19-21.

September 23: Sun enters Libra
After all of that dynamic solar eclipse energy from yesterday (which is still making itself felt), the Sun enters peace-loving Libra and your focus shifts from work and practical concerns to establishing harmony in your life. Libra is an air sign and is concerned with fairness and justice, so take a breather from all of the intensity and invest in your social life. Libra is the premiere relationship sign, and during this month, you should reduce your workload and instead carve out more social time. Meet a friend for coffee, join a book club or enroll in a dance class.

September 24: Jupiter squares Neptune
This is a highly idealistic combo: It is generous, spiritual and optimistic. Jupiter in passionate Scorpio connects with Neptune in Aquarius's search for a better life. There are few planetary pairings that are as visionary as this one. This is actually the third time these planets square this year (the first square took place on January 27 and the second, on March 15). So you have had some time for dreaming. Hopefully you are giving your dreams the grounding necessary to make them come true. Keep your feet on the ground with this one to maximize the possibilities.

September 25: Mercury sextiles Saturn; September 27: Mercury sextiles Pluto
Mercury traveling through Libra makes harmonious aspects this week to two major players: Saturn and Pluto. These are great aspects for playing chess, solving the crossword puzzle or figuring out what your kids are up to. With Mercury's sextile to serious Saturn on September 25, your mind is razor-sharp, making this a perfect time to schedule a meeting be it with your girlfriend, husband or boss. On September 27 when Mercury sextiles Pluto, your fertile mind is working overtime. Profitable conversations give you just the help you need to tweak your projects and plans.

September 25: Venus squares Pluto
Relationships are not all sweetness and light, are they? Whether it's your best friend or the love of your life, from time to time we need to descend into the deeper, messier realms to test the authenticity and staying power of our most important relationships. When Venus in Virgo squares Pluto, intensity is magnified and some of your relationships are tested. Are you trying too hard to make it work? Are you in sync with your partner's core beliefs? See what you can let go of -- whether it's an idea about what should happen or a relationship that isn't a good fit.

September 30: Venus enters Libra
After Venus's encounter with Pluto earlier this week, Venus is very happy to enter her home sign, Libra. (Both Venus and Libra are all about getting along.) You'll focus on your similarities with others and put your differences aside. This is a very social transit, and you are unlikely to want to just stay at home in front of the TV, unless you're getting together with friends to watch your favorite show. Since both Venus and Libra have an eye for what's beautiful, this is a great time to take an art class, redecorate your home or place flowers in a vase for your dinner table or office.

October 2: Mercury enters Scorpio
With Mercury's entrance into the water sign Scorpio, we leave the mental realm of air and enter the deep waters of the feeling life. How you feel, what you intuit, your hunches and your instincts get top billing. Words are colored by feelings, and the intensity level ratchets up. At your best, you'll be able to focus your mind with laserlike intensity making this a great time to finish a writing project, put the finishing touches on a resume or bring up a topic that has been difficult to talk about. Just watch out for a tendency to obsess: If you find your mind looping around the same theme too many times, get off that merry-go-round and get some cotton candy instead. Even great minds need a break, right?

October 4: Mars trines Neptune
Mars is the planet of action; Neptune represents your dreams and ideals. Make the most of this aspect by acting on those wonderful ideas of yours. Where do you want to go? What do you want to do? Open up to the possibilities.

October 6: Full Moon in Aries
Full Moon periods are known for being times of heightened emotions. With an Aries full Moon, you are going to feel extra-feisty since Aries is the god of war in mythology. If you haven't been speaking up when necessary or if you're having difficulty standing up for yourself, you may feel irritable. Courage is the hallmark of this Moon, so step forward and take the initiative; be adventurous, be bold! Full Moons also represent a culmination of what you set in motion during the last new Moon, so look back at the new Moon on September 22. That event was particularly important because it was also a solar eclipse. Between now and the next new Moon later this month, assess where you are emotionally. If you don't feel content, it's time to make changes that will add to your comfort level. This full Moon will most affect Capricorns born January 2-6, Aries born April 1-5 and Cancers born July 3-7.

October 10: The Sun trines Neptune; October 13: Venus trines Neptune
The Sun trine Neptune not only supports your imagination and capacity to dream big, but it also indicates that someone is in a position to help you -- and does. Just make sure you don't waste your time, or someone else's, inflating a fantasy. If you have done the necessary work, this aspect will help you. With Venus also trine Neptune this week, your ability to relate to people sensitively and compassionately opens doors for new relationship possibilities and brings new gentle energy into existing relationships. This is a wonderfully imaginative, dreamy combo.

October 12: Mars sextiles Saturn; October 15: Mars sextiles Pluto
Mars, the action planet, traveling through Libra forms a sextile with responsible Saturn in Leo, bringing opportunities to implement your projects and plans. Saturn represents how you are building your life, especially materially. Making money and ensuring your security are likely to be guiding principles for you now. By October 15, the sextile with Pluto, the power planet, brings in the big guns and gives you the clout, resources and opportunity to take your ideas and projects to the next level.

October 16: Sun sextiles Saturn; October 17: Sun sextiles Pluto
The Sun moves to sextile Saturn and Pluto, offering opportunities to maximize and solidify anything you are working on that is important to you. People in positions of authority notice you and reach out to you now. There is plenty of potential in this aspect to help you step into your power and create something incredible. Do it in a big way.

October 18: Venus sextiles Saturn; October 19: Venus sextiles Pluto
Where the Sun and Mars are about directing your life, Venus is all about how you relate to others. Looking for that soul connection? Venus sextiles Saturn and Pluto in the same week and brings every opportunity possible to meet new people and deepen your connections with those you already know. With such a stabilizing influence, this is a great time to bring up changes you would like to see in a relationship, since they will be incorporated smoothly.

October 22: New Moon in Libra
Venus and Mars, both in Libra, are traveling with the Sun. At the new Moon, these two relationship planets stand on either side of the Sun and Moon. That's a lot of Libra energy! Later this month the Sun, Venus and Mars all exit Libra at the same time and head into Scorpio, where they meet up in an intense discussion. But now they are focused on fairness and justice, and so are you. Getting along with everyone is important to you, and you are likely to invest quite a bit of energy into your relationships. Connecting with those you feel affection for will bring contentment. This is a great time to socialize, throw a party or go out to dinner with your best friend. The new Moon is always a time of new beginnings, so put energy into something you want to grow or become stronger in your life. The power of this new Moon phase is in effect until the full Moon on November 5.

This new Moon will most affect Libras born October 20-22, Capricorns born January 18-19, Aries born April 17-19 and Cancers born July 19-22.

October 22: Mercury conjuncts Jupiter and squares Saturn
This week, single-minded Mercury in Scorpio conjuncts excessive Jupiter and squares serious Saturn, connecting the Jupiter/Saturn square that will become exact next week. Mercury's square to Saturn actually rolls into next week, but it is important now because there is a tendency to talk too much and get in trouble for it. (Think twice before you open your mouth.) You'll be living with whatever you say well into next month and possibly even into December. We'll have more information about this aspect at the end of the month.

Enjoy the Sun's transit of Libra!

I've got a Natal Venus Conjunct Pluto, so I'm counting my blessings. (Not like literally counting ...).

This has my attention. Anyone else having this moment, going through it, or see it's effects? I wonder if one the "messier realms" might include a needed separation, halt in verbal communication for a while as part of the test ... any ideas?

AJ, YES, YES, YES. Sorry I didn't see this before or I would have replied. I was in a serious relationship that ended abruptly and dramatically 2 days after the eclipse at the beginning of Sept. It's been up and down and there has been some communication, but on the 25th things were said that put the final angry, painful nail in the coffin. I spent the whole day bawling my eyes out and still haven't entirely lost the feeling of heaviness, that feeling of "wrong".

It was a relationship that needed to end, it was bad for both of us. Not a day with a big gold star on MY calendar. Hoping for better days in Oct.

I feel you.

Same here. This month has been just tiresome and stagnant. I've been feeling stuck- like the winds need to pick up and start shifting/blowing in another direction.

There seems to be a weird something in the air the past couple weeks. I've been hearing it from so many people in the workplace and personal life. Some strange is happening energetically. It must have to do with the Eclipses.

I too have never felt so emotional than this entire month of Sept.

I'm looking forward moving onto October and hope that I'll be feeling in a lighter, happier mood.

I know how you feel.
I feel like a STORM is coming, but don't know what kind.
I feel like I am on STAND-BY mode and meditate as much I can. Like the battle is coming...

Same here!

Meditation is the only thing that is getting me through this. I actually feel like the Storm has already hit..and I'm amist all the chaos trying to find my way out!

and hoping that soon the storm will pass. In the meantime like you say it's just stand by mode... trying to just pass the time in order to get through it.

You know, regarding these comments of how EVERYONE is commenting about weird vibes, the other morning I woke up thinking, it's as if DNA was being embedded into our bodies that our minds were not yet prepared to fully incorporate. If you know about how the Sun actively writes our DNA, that's kind of what I'm saying. A feeling we need to catch up to something which we already possess.

Thank You Azalaksh, I will wait then.
Well, I am asking this things, but it really doesnt matter. When I see "storm" coming in my transits and connected with past, I just want to find something to hold on.
Just don't want to lose feet under me. When is somebody infront a wall, there is no place to escape...
There is that saying: "Don't wish something, it can become true".
