I have a question that has been annoying me. I have afriend I don't see much as he lives abroad. He is very good looking, nice enough, and my mother has always seemed to be hinting I should get together with him ( well for about 5 years!). I have never though found him sexually attractive! I just couldn't imagine going to bed with him, he is good looking but no spark there for me....so why? Is it at all apparent in our charts..because I can't see it there. Well I think the fact that he is a Can and you are a Libran would add a lot it, notwithstanding the venus-mars conj. Also you have squaring saturns, maybe you can feel the dampner there? Also there doesn't seem to be anything touching the NN of both of you. Plus could age be an issue here? He seems a lot older than you IP: Logged |

Don't marry if there is no spark, mom can wish all she wants but it is you who has to live with him.spark should be there else things don't work becuase in ur life u will find the spark and then ur life will get all messed up and complicated  wait and see .... may be the spark is waiting for you too  IP: Logged |

Maybe you feel too masculine around this guy.. He's the Venus so he'd be taking on a feminine role and expect you to chase ..or something along those lines.. You might feel too sexually masculine around him. Also, Libras being an air sign need a strong mental connection. You have a Scorpio Merc and Venus.. He has a Leo Merc and Venus.. plus the Suns beings squared.. There isn't much in the way of good communication there. But actually it might be an Ascendant thing as well. Maybe his Ascendant - the way he projects himself and comes across to you.. is a put off for some reason. IP: Logged |

Thanks everyone . He is my brothers age...so the age difference thing never actually entered my head! Umm well I know what that spark feels like...which is why I know it is totally absent. Too masculine...not sure about that...the saturn square thing could be the issue...but I think the communication thing would also be important now I think about it...I usually need very strong mercury and uranus connections to feel attracted to a man. And they usually have to have very strong mercurys. IP: Logged |

Juno -All I had to do was see your Libra Sun, and Libra Moon. Boom. That's a common attitude taken by that combination, that of being constantly told that so-and-so would make a good mate, and you're like "eh!". Take it one step further, just because you have that reaction, does it mean you just don't know what's good for ya? The dude is a Cancer with a Sag Moon, plus Leo, Aries, Aquarius and Gemini energies giving him no reason to restrain himself in anything. He might be appearing a lot more put together to your mom than to you, and probably for good reason. Your generation of rascals are going to be different. ------------------

haha.....Rascals...am I?  .The plot thickens...my mother and I had a long talk last night ( uh well I got sick of just going eh and decided to explain why I didn't fancy him) and she admitted that for years she had lived in dread of us getting together so she'd deliberatly done the reverse incase I went out with him because she didn't think it was a good idea! I blame it on her being a Pisces all that neptune stuff. His mum and my mum are friends and apparently his mum is very keen on the match, which has made it very awkward for my mum.So we're all happy in this household anyway. Lauren mentioned the fact I might feel too masculine around him, but it occurred to me that I what I don't feel is feminine around him, or ...well all the men I fancy tend to make me feel physically safe if that makes any sense, and he doesn't make me feel that way...or mentally stimulated! I obviously need a man's mars and mercury seriously coming in to play. Astro junkie what is this about libra sun and moons being told they should like people?...never heard about it before. Juno -I don't know really ... it's something about all that Venus aura which makes people start playing "Mystery Date" with you. Remember? The bum was the hottest one, but no one is supposed to pick him. We're all supposed to want the cleancut guy in the tux. (No wonder he needs Viagra)

My mother, who is a Cancer Sun/Taurus Moon has always had some guy in mind for me -- but our tastes are totally opposite and the guys she thinks are attractive make me gag. LOL

Hi mysticaldream I'm probaby either a leo or cancer ascendant.People do seem
obsessed with pairing me off....which can get frustrating, and I never seem to go for the type of man everyone thinks I will...but with me they're either older than me or younger, usually really intelligent, I don't seem to fancy men my own age. But my astrologer mate puts that down to my saturn square and uranus/mercury conjunction square mars, one liking mature men the other liking younger men... My mother has always been over interested in my love life...I think she is more interested than I am!

I have a Scorpio Ascendant, myself.
I didn't notice before you are from the UK. I envy you; I visited London a year and a half ago and fell absolutely in love with the UK. I desperately want to go back, but the doors just haven't opened up yet.  It's funny, I am the same way about liking guys not of your own age.
