I am needing some astrological advice lately. I have been having some problems with friends and relatives lately. I have great friends who really care about me, but I find that I often feel drained by them. I have been going though some transitional things lately (grad school, job, etc) and have a lot of things on my mind usually. Yet, I seem to be always pulled in other directions-meaning my friends and family.

I am usually the "supporter" in my relationships with people. People come to me for advice and I often have to "talk" my friends through things if they have an issue. My friends are usually the sensitive kind and I feel they think that I am their "rock" but the truth is, I am just like them! Honestly, it's quite draining to have to always dispense advice-basically I feel like an unpaid pyschologist! My friends are not selfish, but they are often focused upon their problems so much they cannot see anyone elses.

My relationship with my mother is the same way. In many ways, I am the mother sometimes, and that is hard to deal with when you are just starting out in the real world! I have always dealt with the struggle, as I am sure any one of you could see in my chart.

Anyway, astrologically speaking, I never really gave much thought to my 7th house, I mean I DO but I have trouble understanding what that house means to me and relationships. But I do have a lot of emphasis there. SO I am thinking this area should analyzed. I am going to post my chart to see if any of you insightful people can maybe pin point if this kind of relationships with others is seen in my chart.

If anyone could also give some advice as to how I can deal with these energies in my chart, I'd appreciate it! Thanks :-)

I didn't have any problems with the link. You have a kite focused on your descendant (others) conjunct (energy is combined with) Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Neptune (spirituality, also idealization). This indicates you naturally focus on many others and you or they may "idealize" this relationship with you in some way. It also indicates you have a very deep "spiritual" tie with those around you which helps you understand them very well...maybe better than you understand yourself. Be careful not to "give yourself away" when helping others.

Thank you for replying! I remember you may have bought up that kite before, and the true significance of it hasn't hit me until now. Sorry it took me so long to reply to it, but yes, I am really trying to get a handle on that kite.

I definately agree with you idea that I may understand others more than I do myself. When I make a connection with people, I "get" them. I think that is one of my traits is having perceptions into the nature of other people. And maybe people gravitate towards that. My friends often come to me for "advice"

The spiritual tie you mentioned-does this also indicate a kind of karmic tie as well??

I definately have always had this kind of energy in my life. What is also interesting is that I have this focus on the 7th house, but that moon in the 12th is about taking time for ones self and needing time to re-energize. I have always been a little weary of that 12th house moon (not a lot of positive interpretations of this aspect), but in light of this new situation, I am realizing how relevent it is.

I stay away from talking about "karma" too much, since this is a very over-used term. The "spiritual" connection is a connection which dissolves the boundaries between ourselves and others. This is most strongly indicated by where Neptune sits in your chart. With Neptune sitting in the 7th house (relationships), the boundaries in your relationships (self and other) come down and you directly are aware of others as if you were them. This is called "empathy". The challenge of empathy is being someone else while still being yourself. For this reason very spiritual people usually have a need to get away from everyone every now and then and "recharge" their sense of who they are.

I'm seeing there may be a latent need to travel, but maybe everyday practicalities keeps you from planning it out and seeing it through.

Your Kite's energy is towards that Jupiter, which is Conjunct your Neptune, so I'm thinking you dream of faraway places. It is on your Descendant, so you may have a past incarnation memory of travel and adventure you'd love to revisit.

Your Jupiter and Neptune are also in Sagittarius (Overseas Travel and Higher Education). Your Venus & Uranus are also in Sagittarius, and in the 6th, so you may be interesting in bringing your work to others in order to heal them, or at least work in a very practical way.
