Pluto will be conjunct my ascendant from January 2007. I understand this to be a very transformative time, and I'm nervous about it... Have any of the Sag ascendant people here already experienced their Pluto conjunction? If so, I'm curious what sort of changes happened for you and how you dealt with it... I guess I'm looking for some reassuring positive stories! But if not, then at least I can be prepared... IP: Logged |

Not on my Ascendant, but currently on my Moon.Pluto aspects signify metamorphosis. I call them butterfly transits. Your Ascendant is "what you look like"---more the impression you make, or your aura, than physical looks. The thing I notice here is that your Ascendant is conjunct the Galactic Center, which suggests something like a clear channel to higher things. Pluto will empower that--most likely by transforming your belief system. Your aura, and maybe your physical appearence--will change to reflect a significant rise in consciousness--and personal power.

Hi Geminilover,I have Saggy ASC, my Pluto curently conjucting Mars on 25 deegrees in 1st house. My Pluto conjucted ASC 4-5 years ago, and believe it or not, I never felt it. It was my transformation time, but only in finding right job and getting some "dreams" to get them in some future. And thats all. Well, I feel it definetly on Mars now. But I think you should not worry, Jupiter will also be soon there, so It will mark beginning in your life, for sure. K. K.

I finished with Pluto (or rather it finished with me) a couple of years ago.It was the single hardest transit I have ever gone through. It totally affected my personality and it took away a lot I had taken for granted. It felt like a little piece of me died (Pluto) While it conjuncted my Ascendant, it didn't trigger a single hard aspect. In all honesty I (ascendant) probably deserved it. Live and learn. Pluto does not affect everyone like this. IP: Logged |

Hi. I can begin to feel the transit on my ascendant, and things look quite ugly for me: all the areas in my life are collapsing, my deeply loved grandmother passed away this summer, important relationships are very intense right now, I just feel there is no solid foundation under my feet...Sorry... I wish I could share some positive experiences. Maybe when the transit will be over, new things will be born out of this chaotic time. IP: Logged |

I have Sagi ascendant. I am going through a big transformation time. My everday is so hard for me, every day is a change for me, all of a sudden I am trying to enter into totally new field. I am ready for competition. Inside me I am facing lots of questions with myself. I have no idea what I think in the morning and what I think in the evening. Does it sound crazy? One day my dream is so bad and other day my dream tells me something good will also happen. ----- So what should I expect in January 2007?IP: Logged |

Pluto says transformation and on your ascendant, you will be compelled to make changes in your personal life, your appearance, your home, relationships, and intimate ones especially. Feelings are stronger, more demanding, focused, there is more emotional and physical energy. Pluto is not so great for money matters as it deals with emotions and emotions make some people want to expand. I find Pluto is more expansive and outgoing than Jupiter so you will find yourself in demand with people. Stock up on red wine and chocolate and center yourself at home. When you get tired of entertaining take hot baths. You may even make a drastic physical change. Be careful of your overall health. Pluto was more helpful for new and old relationships, not so much stability. Right now I am going through a lot of Jupiter transits to my ascendant. It's different. Natasha Taurus/Cancer/Sag rising

Nothing scary! Maybe a new haircut, new hair color, ear piercings, what else...lose weight, gain weight, start wearing pushup bras, a desire to look or feel different. For me it was a lot of different things, however it is personal to you. That is what I meant. Natasha

Geminilover75- I have sag on the ascendent and this is an extremely transformational time for me...but truethfully I like it. When things slow down or get stagnant i become very irritable, because I am always reaching for the stars. A promise of transformation is music to my ears. If you are worried about a majorly stressful period in your life, then don't. Like lalalinda says, live and learn Admist great difficulty lies OPPERTUNITY!!!!!!!!!!!! (not sure how to spell that ) Lots of luck to you! TMC IP: Logged |

Interesting, everyone! Man, it's like... when I realised this transit was coming up for me I just thought "haven't I been through enough!". My Saturn return was only just over a year ago, and then Uranus became conjunct my Mars (it still is) - these two things created a lot of change for me, like it or not! I feel like I'm still dealing with all of that, although in a more confident way now. My hair colour has already had a drastic change this week (and I'm trying to change it back without damaging it), and I've already decided to tone up my body again. I think these current physical changes are more to do with Venus transiting my Pluto (first it was square, which was a bad day for a hair appointment, let me tell you!!!), and now it's almost conjunct. I don't really feel ready for the big "Pluto conjunct Asc" transit though. :-/ This might sound funny or strange, but I hope nothing terrible happens to my hair! (Sun in my fifth house, and Leo midheaven, what can I say. )Rev Alice, what do you mean by the Galactic Centre?

Sorry, if I sound unknowledgeable, but I've never heard about this before. Does this Pluto/Ascendent conjunction apply only to Sag ASCs? And what does it do exactly?Mine already passed in 2000 when I was 12. At that time I didn't know much about astrology. Now I can't remember how I had felt accurately enough. I 'do' remember I was going through some sort of deppression though. IP: Logged |

Oh, it applies to all ascendants, but seeing as Pluto moves so slowly (years!), this particular transit has only been affecting Sag ascendants for the past while. My ascendant is at 28 degrees Sag, so it's coming to the end of that phase now. Next up are the Capricorn ascendants for the Pluto/Asc conjunction. I'm wondering, within how many degrees should we feel this effect? Does it only occur when the conjunction is exact? I think Pluto is currently at 24 degrees Sag?? IP: Logged |
