A while ago you gave me some insight into midpoints that made me really think and realise it was the part that was missing in our synastry.

For the life of me I can't find where it was posted so I was wondering if you could pretty please have another look at them and give me the explanations as best you can. I remember you said you were still a novice at the midpoint thing but what you said made such sense to me.

Hi,

I almost thought the forum had gone.
Well, I am very busy this weekend, but I`ll look into your midpoints next week. Promise!

Hi,

I´ve got a bit time on my hand, and so I gave your midpoints a look.

I`ll copy the interpretations to some of the midpoints here. I think those are the strongest, concerning your attraction.
Oh yes and I use an orb of 1°30. Well, uranian astrology uses an orb of only 1°, but I`ll stick with Ebertin on this one.

He activates in you (His planets, your midpoints):

Sun = Sun / AC
Recognition; being seen for what one is

Moon = Pluto / AC
Either a strong emotional response to one's environment. Or: wielding a
powerful psychic influence upon others.

Venus = Mars / Pluto (1°25)
Passionate disposition; sexual adventure or even danger; an affair.

Venus = Uranus / AC
Being sexy; showing oneself in an exciting fashion; emphasising
individual new looks of any kind. The desire to beautify one's environment
as quickly as possible. The tendency to take the line of least
resistance with regard to the growth of an attachment.

Venus = Sun / Venus
Physical love, beauty, harmony, the artistic touch, the ideal.

Mars = Sun / Venus
The urge to love and posses. Pursuing the object of love, sexual
feelings, the application of creativity.

ruler of AC = Venus / Pluto (1°30)
Fascinating personality attracts others.
(I`d add, it`s a sign of a nearly obsessive attraction on your side)

You activate in him (your planets - his midpoints):

Sun = Sun / Moon
Re-affirmation of desire to establish partnership

Sun = Moon / Uranus
A physique easily aroused by emotions. The sense of free will;
ambitious aspirations. A nervous male; an ambitious or masculine woman.

Mars = Venus / Mars
Passion; impulsive sexual drive; excitement

Those are just a short excerpt of all possible midpoints between the two of you.
The interpretations are from a site, I recently found:
http://horoscope.diy.myrice.com/english/mpve.html#1

If you want to read the interpretations for the other planets, you just have to exchange the two letters after the "mp"; fill in the first two letters of the planet you`re interested in, for example mo for moon and then you can read the interpretations for the moon.
There's another useful midpoint-thing on astro.com:

if you go to extended chart selection ("astrodeinst round", not the pullen/astrolog one)

select "natal chart"
select "Ebertin style (w/midpoints)"

hit "click here to create chart"

then
"click to get the additional tables"

this opens up a PDF (so you need acrobat reader) with ALL of your midpoints and midpoint aspects

And then you can compare those midpoints to the chart of Pisces boy. Look, if any planets fall onto your midpoints; include angles of 0°, 45°, 90°, 135° and 180°.
There will be many many midpoints, so keep the orb narrow, like 1° to 1,5°. The strongest midpoints usually are those with the smallest orb.

darkdreamer -

Thanks for the info. BTW, if someone has their Sun & Moon Midpoint Conjunct someone else's Sun, how would you write that? Is it the same as what you wrote earlier

"Sun = Sun / Moon
Re-affirmation of desire to establish partnership"?

And if it's not, what is a good thing about this Midpoint Conjunction in Synastry?

Thank you.

Yes, I would write it as

Sun = Sun / Moon.

Well, I think the interpretation on this one is a bit weak.
I see it this way:
Sun and moon are basic aspects of your personality; the active and receptive part of you; yin and yang; the female and male part. There are many names for it.
And the midpoint of Sun / moon symbolizes the "inner marriage"; and if someone activates this midpoint, he touches those basic parts of your personality, the yin and the yang of your soul (I hope you understand what I mean).
I can only repeat what I once said: This combination gives you a sense of inner completeness, as if the Sun-person makes you feel complete, whole.
Of course you´ve been complete and whole before; but that feeling has been kind of sleeping inside you (like the untouched midpoint), and someone who activates this midpoints, awakes this feeling of inner completeness in you.
maybe I`m wrong here, but I think this may be one of the connections that can point towards a soulmate; or at least it can feel like this person is your soulmate.

Well I must say that seems to make perfect sense to me! I can't seem to shake my pisces-boy. We've both tried and failed.

I've never been so physically attracted to anyone but it also runs so much deeper. Our synastry isn't the greatest but I guess the challenges keep it interesting, we're never bored with each other!

I instinctively know he feels it too, an almost primal instinct that goes beyond any wishful thing. We have treated each other horribly in the past tying to deny it, even to ourselves.

Things are changing now.

I'm finally admitting it to myself just how much I do care for him, I hope he's learning too. He nearly lost me, I think it was a reality check.

We've just gotta get past our mutual pisces shyness and mutual stubborn, proud leo moons! Lol

I know what you mean.
It seems, I can`t shake my virgo-guy either.
He´s got also a Leo-moon, but I got an aquarius-moon, so it`s probably me who`´s trying to run away more. But it just doesn`t work anymore.
you should think, from our normal synastry, it should be easy to move on without each other, but there seems to be an invisible bond, that always keeps us going back to each other. *sighs* Maybe I should just accept it the way it is, instead of wasting our time with fighting and pulling away. lol
Astrologically speaking: maybe there´s is something to his Sun-Moon-midpoint opposing the ruler of my ac; his Venus-Mars-midpointin aspecting my Vertex, Mars and Ascendant; my Venus-mars-midpoint is also aspecting his Node. Well,t hat would explain the phyical attraction.
But I sense there`s something more than that, something deeper.
I don`t know if that counts as a midpoint-configuration.
But my Sun-Moon-midpoint is exactly opposing my own Vertex, and Virgo´s Venus-Mars-midpoint is exactly squaring this opposition. I don`t really know if a connection of two midpoints counts, but it somehow stood out to me.

The fighting and pulling away you guys do and we do, I like to see as a soul test. Anything that hard fought for and not given up on is worth having.

I hope we never lose that passion. My worst nightmare is we get deep into a relationship only to find the spark has gone. I guess thats where the hard aspects come into it, keeping us on our toes!

P.s. Its been 9 months next week since we first hooked up. Enough time to have a baby, kinda feel like this thing is creating a life of its own anyway! Time to give birth to a proper relationship I think.

Yeah, I like that idea! And good luck to you too!

I agree. I also have been afraid, that the spark could get lost.
I`ve already experienced that; maybe that`s the reason I analyse our charts way too much.
But yes, I think, I should just take that leap of faith, and see wha`s gonna happen.
First of all I have to see what he thinks of all of that. It`s not like that`s only my decision. lol
Good luck to you, too. Giving birth to the baby "relationship" seems a good idea to me.

Thank you darkdreamer for clarifying that and adding more to it. I DO understand what you mean regarding that Sun/Moon Midpoint, the yin & yang symbol itself is a great analogy for that Midpoint.
