I guess it all depends on the rest of the synastry chart, but I do agree with you on the moon opposite/square saturn. I really don't think the conjunction is a problem, but I guess it can go either way. It's really not a problem for me in my relationship- his saturn conjuncts my moon.

BUT, I was in a relationship where my moon was conjunct his saturn, and MY saturn was conjunct his mars... and wow, AWFUL. I can't really explain it, but there was always tension- we were never on the same level.

I also don't like when my venus squares or opposes someone else's uranus... too unpredictable and unstable. Sun square or opposite uranus doesn't really bother me in a synastry chart, though. Probably because I have sun square uranus in my own natal chart.

Moon square Saturn double whammy is the pitts!
Mars square Saturn is not "healthy: either..

You gotta have some really "ties that bind" stuff or it feels like you've been rode hard, run over and put away wet

I'd have to say Saturn/Venus whether it be a conjunction, Opposition or square(especially a square)it really seems to put a bad damper on an attraction to someone. You could have a whole bunch of great aspect factors, like Sun conjunction Moon, Venus Trine Moon, Sun conjunction Jupiter, etc...and than have that dreadful tight Saturn square Venus and it kind lessens things.

Wow, I didn't know Saturn good be so dampening even when the chart is packed with easy aspects.

I don't think I like seeing the Moon or Mercury in hard aspects. Especially the Moon, because I have issues with comfort.

Also I second Saturn/Mars as well...Mars is not free and run wild with restrictive Saturn holding it down.

Ok one more...(I know you say "one" but this is like potato chips you sometimes can't have just one)Venus/Neptune when it's hard aspected because there seems to be alot of wishful thinking and delussions when it comes to a relationship. After awhile when things aren't clear it can easily become a fools paradise. You can never properly see the relationship for what it truly is.

Sun square moon in synastry is pretty rough. My good friend had this with her ex, she was the moon. They were always fighting about something.

Moon square moon
sun square moon

Both of those are really annoying to deal with.....

Venus opposition saturn (especially the double whammy) Its really a wet blanket.

I'm cringing because my saturn squares my boyfriend's mars and moon . I don't know, Im so used to hard saturn aspects starting with my natal chart and with my own father so I hope in a way it makes me aware of the coldness/dampness/hurt it can cause and that its helping me to relate in a better way to my Sweetie.I think it is....
